We went and saw SUPERMAN RETURNS last nite! .

WOW!!! It was amazing!

After going to the front page and reading My Smoky Mountain Homeschoolwas going to a late showing of it, b/c it "comes out" today. I thought, "Yeah, I need to go see the FIRST showing of it too." So I called around to see who was playing it and the theater in Ft. Wayne had it, then I had to beg my awesome dad to take me and he did, of course! I was soo excited the whole way to the theater. It was supposed to show at 10pm and the movie didn’t actually start until 10:20pm, b/c of all the trailers.

Although the Spider-Man 3 trailer was Awesome, even though I could hardly see what was going on, it was a fast pace trailer! I am not too much of a Spider-Man fan, but it looked really, really, good.

They are also making a movie about the very first SUPERMAN portrayer. George Reeves. Apparently he committed suicide, but some think he was murdered. So a man tries to discover the real truth and he almost gets killed for it. Anyway, it looks like a good movie. It as Ben Affleck, Adam Brody, and Diana Lane in it. It is called "Hollywoodland" It said coming soon, so we will see. I am going to be digging into this to see what the story line is. I have never heard anything like this before. So we will see what I discover!

OK so here is my "review" of it.

It was a really great movie. The only thing is that I think that they did something that was way out of SUPERMAN character. He would have never done what they portrayed he did. I am not going to say, b/c I know my family doesn’t want to know!

I didn’t like Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor. I thought that he was too mean. Gene Hackman was mean, but in a funny way. And he wasn’t anyway near as mean looking either. And the whole thing with Lois Lane and Richard White was something that I don’t think would have happened had they not made the movie in 2006.

When I first heard that they were making a SUPERMAN movie without Tom Welling I was soo mad. I really didn’t want to see it because I wanted Tom Welling to play SUPERMAN. Here is the reason why he couldn’t play in the movie! It's Not Over!!?? OH MY GOSH!! There is more!!  YAHOO!

But after watching it last nite, Brandon Routh did an awesome job.

He looks exactly like Christopher Reeve. I can see why they chose him.

My dad didn’t like Christopher Reeves, so he didn’t really like this one. He said it was like watching the first one over.

I have only seen the first 2 movies of SUPERMAN.

The guy they chose to play Jimmy Olsen was really good. He did a great job as being him.

The special effects were great, of course.

Everything was really really awesome! I am so glad that I went and saw it.

Well that is all I can think of to say about since I can’t give it away! It was a really GREAT, AWESOME, TERRIFIC, AMAZING, and any other adjectives that are good that I can’t think of right now!

I don’t think that I am going to be posting about what we did for Father’s Day and Caleb’s 1 b-day, because Mom and Alatariel and Tigerlily beat me to it.
