In My Life

This Article was published in Daily bloggings of a 17 year old Girl on her way to becoming a Woman of God

I decided that I would blog about what has been going on or what is going to be going on!!

My great grandparents anniversary is the 20th, but we are having a dinner on Sunday in honor of them. This is going to be very special. We have really gotten closeR to them in the last year than we WERE before.

Alatariel  has been doing a family scrapbook for them, and I am doing my grandpa’s service album.

It is really interesting to see what he did. I don't have pics of when he was in the actual war zone, but I do have when he was in training, and when he came back, and I have postcards, awards and such.

It is fairly easy except for the part where Al  took all the pics out, and didn’t mark theM!!

I had to go through them and figure what were Alike and what times the pics were. But besides that, it is going well.

I just finished getting all the pics in the right order and got them situated the way they need to be on pages!!

We had the appraiser come yesterday!! We had been cleaning like there was no tomorrow the day before.

I had my doubts whether we would actually get done what we needed, but we did!! Everything was in tip-top shape when we came!! It was funny actually!!

He came in and said, “WOW!! You have a big house!!” Then he looked around and said, A-“How many kids do you have??” M- “Seven” A-”We have nine. We have you beat.” M-”Well he have one on the way, so not that far off.”

The Appraiser walked outside, came back in, A- “Do you homeschool??” M-”Yes.”

he did his job, and was very friendly about it. Then left.

After that we got some lunch and just kinda relaxed and let out a breath of relief. Had a nice day.

We are going to go shopping tomorrow!! We are gonna get some clothes and shoes for Sunday.

on Friday Alatariel , Tigerlily and I will work for Mr. Schenck. Then I am going to my friend’s.

I didn’t get to go last weekend, b/c of all the work that needed to be done for the appraisal. Then I can make the presents!!

On Monday, Ca-bug was fussy and tired, so I stuck in one of my old Psalty tapes and sang and danced him to sleep!! LOL!!         After he went to sleep Isaac wanted to listen too, so we sang and danced the nite away!! Not really!!

Isaac thought that Psalty was an elephant!! LOL!! I googled Psalty and showed him. It was funny.

today Mom put in the Wee-Sing tape. I knew every song. It is really weird that I can still remember stuff from my childhood. Although I do have a mind like SUPERMAN’s. I never forget anything.

AS I was dancing and singing with him, I couldn't help but think about how childish i was being and how other teenagers would never do anything like that.

I guess those are the times that i feel immature and dumb. LIke I am not at the stage where i need to be. That is an area i need to work on and pray that i don't feel that way. i shouldn't feel that way, i am just playing with my little brother and it is normal. I just can't help but feel that way.

Ca-bug and Isaac are so-o excited about having the goats back.

After we let the goats out in the morning,  Ca-bug and Isaac rush to the window with step stools in tow to watch them and call them. To which the goats look at them.

Last week the day after we got them back, I took Ca-bug and Isaac to see them. They were soo HAPPY to get to go down there to see them!! Now it’s too cold to take them down there.

Ca-bug has learned what a chicken says. “ba-gock”. So whenever you say chicken, he says “ba-gock”!!

Mom   is finally starting to show.

When we first found out that she was pregnant I was in disbelief. So I told her that I would believe that she was pregnant when she started to show. now I finally believe that we will have another baby in april!!

Thank you all for your encouragement on my last post!!

I think that is all for now. I hope your week is going GREat also!!

so i contacted him and I got a real english postcard from a real englishman!!

It will serve as a bookmark. And I will put it in my new Lamb among stars book as soon as I get it!!

I am so excited!!

Matt 18:2-6 ~ He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

So...don't feel self-conscious about acting like a kid!! LOL You're a great big sister!!

Oh, and I know all of the Wee-kids and Psalty songs by memory too... :)

Hi! How are you doing? I don't think there's anything wrong with playing with your little brother. Think of it as good preperation for being a mom someday! :-)

Congrats to your grandparents! My grandparents just celebrated their 50th a few weeks ago--we were going to do something, but it didn't work out for them. :(
I love the idea of a service scrapbook! My grandfather on my mom's side was in the Air Force, and my other grandfather was in the Army. One was in WWII, he was training to be sent to the war when it ended. My other grandfather was in Japan during Korea. I have a couple cousins who were in the Marines as well. There's a lot of Navy/Marine families in our area, too.
For my grandfather's birthday one year, we all went to James Madison's home for the tour. (we're directly descended from his mother's brother) We took lots of pictures, and made him a scrapbook--we used pictures of my grandfather in the home and wrote a little story about him being James Madison. It was funny, and I know he really liked it.

I was on your sisters blog and heard about yours.

I haven't seen the Superman Returns movie yet, I'd like to, I've heard it's pretty amazing.

Don't feel immature or silly about playing with your brother. I play with my sisters and the children at church and love it. I am not much younger than you either. I will be 17 next year. I know what you mean about that feeling though. I have had it before. I have learned to conquer it though. I agree with another girl who replied as well - it can help you prepare to be a mother.

Oh, and I know a ton of Psalty songs and if the "Wee Songs" are the "Wee Sing Bible Songs" I know all of those songs too!

Love in Christ,

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
