I am BLESSED!!

This Article was published in Daily bloggings of a 17 year old Girl on her way to becoming a Woman of God

Well I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and spent as much time as possible with family.
We had a good day on Monday. I think everyone received what they wanted or needed. I know I did. Here is a list of what I was blessed with this year.
From my Parents and Sibs:
Homemade SUPERGIRL pillow case that matches my robe!!
Homemade SUPERGIRL makeup case from Jocelyn. Of the same material!!
    SUPERMAN Returns Mini Calendar!!
    SUPERMAN Returns Calendar!!
My Mom gave me a Creative Memories purse that you can only get if you held an $800 show. That she wanted!!
A Bath and Body Works Nail Kit.
A Gold chain for my SUPERMAN Pendant from my dad. He gave it to me on my birthday.
    Key Lime Pie Body Butter.

From Grandma Starr:
    Head Bands
    Chapstick
    Ponytail
    Barette
$20  (I put toward my boots.)

From Aunt Jen and Uncle Adrain:
Home Interiors Raspberry Lemonade room spray and matching jar candle
    Holiday Notepad

Grandpa Walters and Grandma Walters:
$25  (I put toward my boots)

Grandpa and Dorothy:
SUPERMAN Returns 2 disc Special Edition DVD!!
    Fuzzy socks

Grandpa Starr and Debbie:
    Jean Skirt!!
    Pajama pants
I was so very blessed to receive these wonderful gifts. I am so happy that God has given me a family that cares and loves me.
All of the things I received I can’t wait to use, although I think I might have already used everything.
We have watched SUPERMAN Returns. I have already worn my SUPERMAN necklace. I have already worn my skirt, boots  and pajama pants and LOVE them immensely. I have already burned my candle and it smells so good. Already changed purses.

This year I made all my Grandmothers and my aunts scarves. That was the surprise I mentioned. I also made Jocelyn, Rachel, Hannah and Mom one.
My friend has a machine that you run the yarn through and can have 10 scarves made in a day!! So I had fun doing that.

We went to Grandpa Walters on Saturday and had dinner and exchanged gifts with everyone. Great Grandpa and Grandma came with Uncle Keith too. It was so good to get to see them and spent time with them!!
On Subday we wrapped gifts and watched the A&E version of "Pride and Prejudice". We had fun!!
On Monday, we stayed home. Got up late and then opened presents, and made dinner. Mr. Schenck blessed us with a ham and some turkey. Jocelyn wouldn’t eat the ham though. I guess it goes against her body. It was good though. Mom made some pies too. Lemon Meringue pie and a Cherry pie. Iliked the cherry one.
Yes, we had a wonderful day and were all very BLESSED!!

Glad to hear that you had a merry Christmas!!! That's great that you made scarves for everyone...that's what my cousin's girlfriend did for our family and they're absolutely gorgeous!

It was so nice being able to spend time with family as well! I got to hang out with my cousins which is always wild but very fun. :)

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
