An All Watching God

This Article was published in Reflections of a 17 year old girl on her way to becoming a Woman of God

God surely is our protector!! He is always watching us. Thank You, God!! We had a very scary incident on a couple weeks ago.
We went to the store, came home, got all the groceries in the house, so the door was being opened and closed. We were in the office, checking email and I went into the kitchen to find the menu plan. I looked out the window and saw someone outside. I knew it wasn’t Isaac, Eric, Hannah or any of the older girls because I had just been in the same room with them all, so I was scared to realize it was Caleb our 18mon. old boy.
He had gone outside by himself, without a coat, hat, gloves or anything. He luckily did have shoes on. I ran out the door to get him, and brought him in. He was shivering and cold. But he wasn’t scared, so I don’t know if that is good or bad.
The scary part is that it was like 23 degrees out and he had almost made it to the driveway and nobody noticed he was missing (Our driveway is about 100 feet away from the house.).
He could have gone out farther and not made it back. He had already fallen down in the snow. So had he gone farther no one would have even thought that he went outside. We would have been looking all over the house, never thinking he was outside.
He could have been gone forever. No more “Ca-Bug”. No more “Sweetness”. I cannot imagine what life would have been without him. Without me seeing him, he would have probably died.
So needless to say we are making sure that the Littles are always with us
I can only thank God for saving him. It just proves that God is all knowing and is always watching us. It was a scary thing, and I will be keeping an eye on all of the kids better.
We saw on the news that nite, that if you are outside for more than ten min. in below freezing temps, you could be seriously hurt permanently. That is so scary that we could have lost him forever. It brings me to tears just thinking about. God is so good to us. He saved Caleb. He is in control. It is by God's grace and His alone that Caleb is here sitting in my lap, helping me type this, watching a Nest video.

            THANK YOU GOD!!
Here is a verse that I thought applied to this situation, showing us that no matter what, God is in control:
Isaiah 43:1 TruthQuest Inductive Student Bible New Living Translation
“The Lord who created you says, ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name, you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble I will be with you. When you go through rivers if difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of depression, you will not be burned up, the flames will not consume you. For I am God, the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

God Bless and Keep You and Yours!! Take Care
Love

Does your mom still have a scrapbooking site? I would be interested in checking it out. I sent the movie to Jocelyn, did she get it?

Here is the link to our main speaking site http://www.toastmasters.org/
This is not our site how ever, we are workingo n getting one up still.

Yah, that would be fun to meet up with you guys (ahem) girls and guys. :P

BTW your site has a nasty popup on it, everytime the your blog loads it comes up. My protection service on my computer blocks it, but it says it R-rated. The only thing I could think of to make thiss go away is re-doing your blog. If you want I could make you a new template.

Hello Amanda,
I hope you are having a good day!
I was reading some of your older posts. It sounds like you had a good time at the party. I haven't seen "one night with the king" and I have heard a little about it but I was a bit skeptical. That is so good that you saw you little brother!
come read my newest post: St Valentines Day
I know I haven't been on in a while. I will hopefully post a more recent post shortly.
Love to hear from you,
Rose

Amanda,

How scary that must have been! Praise God you saw Caleb outside! You are right He is in control!

I read your post about your visit to TN. It sounds like it was a blast! I had read Jocelyn, Coie and Ryann's posts about it and was waiting to read your account too. I had been absent from the computer for a week and was so glad to find that you had posted about it!

I read your review on the movie too. It sounds like an awful movie. I am thankful I have not seen it! After reading your review I do not want to.

I just posted a review on Sense and Sensibility if you want to read it.

Love,
Rebekah ~ The Lord's Daughter

"His eye is on the Sparrow, And I know He watches me!"

Praise God! I've always wondered how how I could deal with the loss of a child, it would be so hard. But God is watching over us and protecting us and should something like that happen, He would still be our protector and comfort! Isn't he an awesome God!

God is awesome in His protection. That reminds me of the time when my niece was only about two, we lived in a two story apartment and there were not screens on the windows. Well everyone thought that Caitlyn was alsleep but my mom got this feeling that she really needs to go to the room, well Caitlyn was hanging out the window about ready to fall out! But thankfully Mama caught her in time. I read your review on the Ester movie. I dont' know why hollywood has to 'spice' things up like that.

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
