Book Tagged!!

This Article was published in Awards, Contests, and Tags

I was tagged by BabyMakers with this book tag. We don’t usually do tags, b/c they are pointless...but since it is a book tag and not just a fun tag, Mom allowed me to do it b/c it is sort of like a school thing.

So here is my answers
:

1. Hardback or trade paperback or mass market paperback?
I like Hardback, but paperback are ok.

2. Barnes & Nobel or Borders?
Don't know....I have never been to either.

3. Bookmark or dogear?
Well I don't know what a dogear is, so I would say bookmark. Or whatever I can find!!

4. Alphabetize by author or alphabetize by title or random?

    By author.

5. Keep, throw away, or sell?

I wouldn't throw away a book, unless it was not appropriate or was in bad condition. Otherwise I would keep, unless I needed to sell it.

6. Keep dust jacket or toss it?
I keep the dust jackets, but take them off when I’m reading the book.

7. Short story or novel?
    Novel!!

8. Collection (short stories by same author) or anthology (short stories by different authors)?
    Both.

9. Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
    Neither.

10. Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks.
    Chapter breaks, unless falling asleep.

11.  "It was a dark and stormy night..."  or "Once upon a time..."
    Both.

12. Buy or borrow?
    Borrow, then buy.

13.  New or used?
    Both.

14. Buying choice: book reviews, recommendation or browse?
Book reviews and recommendations by Mom or other trusted sources!!

15. Tidy ending or cliffhanger?

Tidy ending, unless there is another book to a cliffhanger. I like HAPPY endings.

16. Morning reading, afternoon reading or nighttime reading?
    Any time reading!!

17. Stand-alone or series?

    Both

18. Favorite series?

I haven't read many series, but this is one I like Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke, and The Prairie Legacy by Janette Oke. (the second part of LCS)

19. Favorite children's book?

Well, I am still somewhat of a child, but when I was little I always liked “Pat-A-Bunny”. It had different things to feel. I didn’t like the “Daddy’s Mustache” one, though. I always have had a problem with scratchy things. Gives me the shivers.

20.  Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?
Hmmm...I think it would be....The Lamb Among Stars Series. It is fairly new, and is in the tradition of LOTR and CON.

21. Favorite book(s) read last year?

David Copperfield, The Robe, Stepping Heavenward,

22. Favorite books of all time?

Most books I have read. Check my sidebar for books I like!!

23. Least favorite book you finished last year?

I don't really have one. I pick books I that spark my interest, so I like all the books I read.

24. What are you reading right now?

The Big Fisherman by Lloyd C. Douglas. (Sequel to The Robe), Storey's Guide to Raising Horses.

25. What are you reading next?
Storey's Guide to Trainging Horses, Handling and Grooming Your Horses, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, and The Dark Foundation by Chris Walley. (Sequel to The Power of the Night
)

I don't really know who to tag, so if you want to be tagged, then you are!!

A dog ear is when you bend the corner of your page down to mark your place.

I have Stepping Heavenward and have been meaning to read it for so long. Your post just reminded me about it.

A dog ear is when you fold over the corner of the page to mark where you are. I am horribly known to do this baaaaad habit. ((blush))

Oh btw ... I was sooooooooo shocked when I was nominated for a couple of categories. ((blush)) too. (0=
