I have so many different thoughts on posts going through my mind, I just don’t know how to put them in words. And don’t want millions of posts.
First, I have been EXTREMELY busy... hence the week and a half space of no blogging!! I just have not honestly had time to blog, and have had to spend my time carefully.
Some of the reasons for this careful spending is b/c I had to write an essay for my ConLaw Class and I didn’t start it til it was a day from being due. I am just not good at writing that stuff, plus I wasn’t sure where to start or what I was doing.
I was seriously stressing about writing it, and was in tears most of the time. I was stressed and depressed alot last week. But I finally just decided that it wasn’t optional and I had to try to get it done. I did get it in and I hope it is what Dr. Farris was wanting. I don’t really care about the grade, b/c I am not taking this class to be graded and I am not planning on becoming a lawyer or anything. It was just to enlighten me about our government. So we will see how horrible I did on it in about 4-6 weeks!!
I have never been depressed that I know of before. So this past week has been very different than anything I have ever dealt with before. I was so angry and upset about it, and I didn’t know what was going on with me. I was being mean to my Mom, and I couldn’t help it, nor did I know what was going or why I was being that way. I was really stressed out also... I don’t get this way easily, but it seemed to just come on so much this past week.
I cried many times last week, and prayed alot. The devil really wanted to bring me down, and almost did. But God is faithful and I am *almost* back to normal.
I am really upset about my horses, but am working that out!! You will have to go to SuperAngel’s Horses to read about it!!
I am currently reading, “The Big Fisherman”, by Lloyd C. Douglas. It is the sequel to “The Robe”. It is so awesome!! I love it.
The picture he gives of Jesus is just one of a gentle, loving, man. One of the things I love about it is that he does a great job on describing things. How many “Jesus” movies have you seen that show a crowd running after Jesus. I mean running. I have never seen one. So when I read it, it was a new thought to me. Crowds of hundreds RUNNING to get to Jesus. It is just awing to think of.
Jesus has been on my mind alot lately. I am pathetic, but when I watch a Nest movie with him in it, I just well up. He is so gentle and loving. You can see it in His eyes and tell by his voice. It will be a awesome day to meet Him. It is hard to believe that this loving man, cares about me and my sin and He took it all away, so I could be with Him forever. I am tearing up as I write. He is just so awesome and I love Him.
Mom is about ready to birth. It is weird that nine months have past since we disbelievingly found out that we were expecting. I still can’t believe that there will be another baby around here to care for and love. This baby will be different than the last, b/c I am in the right place. In both mind and spirit. I will be able to become attached to this precious one.
Can you believe it is APRIL of 2007?? I can’t!! Time flies like sand in the wind. I have never actually said I liked spring, but this year it is brought home to me, that it is an awesome time in life. I always say I like summer better b/c it is hot, but spring is just as good!!
It starts getting warm, beautiful flowers are blooming, the tree buds are popping out on the branches, the grass is green and not yellow, the sun is shining on my face. It is wonderful.
It is a time of new beginnings too. Life is coming back to nature, and to my spirit. I feel like a new person. I love it. It seems that as the above things are happening outside, that I am having things bloom and grow in me. I know God is working in me. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me.
Spring is a time of new things. The old, dead things of winter are going away and the new, living things of spring are here. It seems that is how our spirits are too. In winter, we get discouraged, gloomy, depressed, sad, and mean. But when spring comes we will be renewed, alive, happy, nice,and anticipating new things to happen in our lives.
Spring is here and so is a new year!! I don’t really count January to be the start of a new year. It is still winter of the year before, but when spring comes it feels like a new beginning.
We have had a couple weeks of really warm weather, but today we have had snow, and wind, and it has been really cold. It seems to remind me of when Satan wants to come in and discourage us and make us think that everything we do is wrong, but Joy comes in the morning and the warmness of God will come to cover us.
I hope that the warm weather returns soon, too!!

Have you seen the Batman Begins movie?? Then you will remember this, "When did the nuts take over the nut house??". I am not going to even address your comment, as it was just argumentative and I know what I believe and why I believe it. I do not state things that I have not studied. Everything I say is back by something.
Last Monday was my 60 day limit on my permit... which means I can now get my license!! But I need to practice parallel parking in the 15pass. van first. I don’t want to hit anything and FAIL!! That would be awful!!
But before I can even practice, we need a new passenger side mirror as ours flew off on the road. LOL!! Yeah it is funny, except the mirror is $40, and I need to practice now before Mom has the baby, so I can get my license and go to the store for her while she is recovering!!

I am so sorry that you had a rough week. I know what it’s like to not have much time to finish an assignment, and it’s no fun. Remember to put your trust in God, even for the seemingly small things like papers. At least you don’t have to worry about your grade too much!
I didn’t know there was a sequel to The Robe!! I’m definitely going to have to get that! I loved that book.

No we didn't move to anderson. We just moved to a farm about 4 miles from our old house. Which I am, glad because one of my best friends gets to give me riding lessons this summer and in aug. or sep. I MIGHT get a horse.

Sounds like you've had a tough week. I'll pray that things get better for you.
Not a lot of cooking. I have made a few things though. I have been helping clean out our kitchen and getting it ready to paint. I can't wait to paint!
To your book tag I say this...I LOVE all Janette Oke books!!! They are all so great! I'm glad you like them too.
It's so awesome that you will have a new sib anyday now. I went and saw my cousin's baby yesterday and she was so cute! I think it's really great that you will be there to help your mom with the baby, it will make you and the baby so close.

It sounds like you are in a wonderful place in your life right now. I'm happy for you.
Good luck on your driver's license test! I just took mine a couple of days ago and passed. I wouldn't want to try to do it in a 15 passenger van, though! lol

I am sorry you have been having such a hard time. I had a little bit of the same problem last week or so too. I felt like I would go crazy!!! I am sure you did great on your paper.
Your right, it will be wonderful to see our Lord one day! I like the Nest movie portrayal of Jesus too.
I am praying for your Mom. I hope that she has a safe delivery.
I like Spring as well, even though our spring is more of a summer here.LOL I really am (rather unusually) looking forward to Summer this year.
I liked and agreed with your post about government. It was quite interesting. About that court case, Answers in Genesis has a magazine called Answers and the interesting thing is, the January to March issue had the equality of life as their theme. They discussed such issues as abortion, Margaret Sanger, and it also spoke a little about that case. I had not understood what the case was before then and you made me understand it more.

Interestingly, I can identify with a lot of what you wrote about. Spring is also one of my favorite times of year. When fall is here, I always say fall is my favorite, but then when spring is here, I think spring has to be my favorite, too! All the new life blooming everywhere reminds me of that song, "As far as I can tell, God's alive and well!" I think, like you said, my heart gets lighter and happier when the weather warms up and the sky is blue and the flowers come out. :-)
I also, like you, have been struggling with discouragement and depression, but God is helping me... today is much better than the past few days have been! I'm thankful for that, and thankful that God is healing you, too.
