I am in utter shock... I was nominated for the Homeschool Blog Awards!! I was nominated in Best Live-What-You-Believe Blog, and Best Teen Blog.
Mom was nominated in the Best Homeschool Mom Blog, and Best Unschooling or Eclectic Homeschool Blog.
And Joc was nominated in Best New Homeschool Blog, Best Live-What-You-Believe Blog, AND... Best Teen Blog.
I can definitely believe that Mom and Joc were nominated, but ME?!?! I can’t believe I was nominated!!
I don’t know who nominated me, but it is too cool!! I don’t really care if I win, I mean it would be AWESOME, but I won’t have any tears if I don’t. Now I might if I win!! I just feel so honored to be nominated!!
I don’t blog for awards or recognition, I blog because I want to encourage others and be encouraged by others. It is so cool!! I want to THANK whoever nominated me!!
In honor of the Awards, I am going to be trying to blog everyday!! Who knows who might be coming by!! Mom and Joc also blogged about the nominations.
We have come up with a systematic voting system for us: Vote for Mom in either one of her nominations, Joc in the Best New Blog, and Me in the Best Live-What-You-Believe Blog. That way we aren't voting against each other. And our other friends who are in the same category aren't being voted against either!!
Here are a few other famous bloggers teens that got nominated: BlogBoy, DarthYxpu, Brielle Costumes, WalkbyFaith, MandyGrace, Ringbearer. These are just a few to name...
Be sure to go over to Homeschool Blog Awards and read the rules. They are very specific, as to avoid cheating!!

This Homeschool Blog Awards thing is freaking me out...I don't know what to do! This is supposed to be based upon objectivity, is it not? How could they do this to us? ;D

Your baby sister is really cute! :) It makes me want to have another sibling. (with my youngest only 3 1/2 mos :D )
That would be neat if sometime we could like get together or something.
How is your school doing? Are you graduating this year? School is going good for me.

You mean "mortereve" and "abyssinia"? There made up words. The first meaning "Morning, Afternoon, Evening" and the second means "I'll be seeing you".
Comgradulations on your nomination! Maybe next year I'll be popular like that. Actually I didn't even know there was such a thing...

Red and Yellow were batman’s favorite colors, so your template really looks like batman. Lol!

Well, can you put us up for a night? We would have five people... Dad, Mom, me, and my two little sisters. My mom didn’t really say no, she said I'll have to talk to your dad about it. I think I might be able to convince my dad to do it, but I'm not sure. Tell me what your folks say.
Yes those are batman’s colors. But red was not batman’s color, and you have pictures of superman all over your blog! I think that scarecrow escaped from rehab...

Definitely an excellent choice on the part of whoever nominated you. Your blog is uncluttered enough to be consistently enjoyable, and you nearly always have a kernel of good sense at the core of your writing. It is a very sound piece of work, and reflects well on you. You should be proud.
