OOH!! Lookie, What I Got!!

This Article was published in HSB Friends, News and FUN Stuff

Oh JOY!! Guess what I got in the mail a couple weeks ago?? I know, a couple weeks ago, I have tried to post this sooner, but just haven't been able to. ergh!!

Anyway, it was my very special "Bundled In Prayer" Afghan!! Made by our very own, QuietCajun. She did a BEAUTIFUL job. I just can't get over how pretty it is. It is so soft, bright, and warm. Definitely worth the price, I would have even paid more!!

Ok... so I am sure you all want to see pics, right?? LOL!!

Here is the story of my afghan:

I asked QuietCajun to make me one after I saw how beautiful Lucy’s was. Speaking of Lucy, She is now scooting. *mouth gapping* I cannot believe it. She is really squirmy too. She has been trying to crawl out of my arms. Sheesh... she will be 4 months on the 7th. *mouth gapping again*. Oh boy. Time flies!!

Ok... back to my story...QuietCajun had down a great job on Lucy's and it was so cute. SO I HAD to have one too. I told her what colors, and she picked the really neat design. It only took her about a week to make it, so not bad, huh?? She posted some pics of her making it and I was soo excited and impatient to get it. It was so pretty. 2 weeks ago, she mailed it. I had been checking the mail ever since. Then Wednesday about a week and half ago, I got a box!!

(QC- I am so estatic, but I do not show emotions well, so I don't look it. Sorry. lol!! Just know that I was VERY happy and overjoyed and excited and any other adjectives I have missed. I really do love it!!)

EXCITEMENT!! Look how pretty it is!!

Afghan5.jpg image by Super_Angel
WOW!! It's so beautiful... and BIG!!

Afghan6.jpg image by Super_Angel
Here is QC's signature, a Heart in the corner. It is a really goodheart too.

Afghan7.jpg image by Super_Angel
Here I am folding it up. It looks cool from that angle.

Afghan8.jpg image by Super_Angel
Here is another shot of it.

I am just overjoyed about it. It is so me!! QuietCajun did a GREAT job on it. I have used it every nite since I got it. It is warm, but not too warm for the summer nites here. The colors she found for it are so cool. They are just my style and it goes with some of my decor.

Ok... Here is a little promo for her new business: Bundled in Prayer is hand-crafted, custom afghans, at an affordable price. Each afghan is made with prayers for you. Beautiful work. Very detailed craftsmanship. High quality. Very personal.  I would recommend buying from BIP. It is a great opportunity to be blessed and bless others.

I am so happy I went ahead and ordered it. It is truly one of a kind

Thank you, QuietCajun, so very much!! I absolutely LOVE it!!

P.S. I must tell you that I am NOT that usually hurtful to myself as I was last week. I don’t know what my problem was. LOL!! But you will happy to know that both Caleb and I are now healed!! Thanks for your prayers.

As Always...

LOL! I wish I could stop getting hurt! It seems to be a very natural thing for me to do. I'm glad you're healed now. :-)

That blanket is gorgeous!! Wow. I want one! LOL I wish I had the patience to make things like that. In most things, I'm patient. But when it comes to crocheting, knitting, or anything else that would result in a nice blanket, I lose all patience! :-)

Hugs,
Becca

That is so neat! It looks warm and cozy. I'm sure it will be perfect for cold winter nights too.

RYC (even though it was a long time ago): I didn't invent "sola scriptura." It's one of the five solas of the Reformed faith. Very important. :-)

Have a good day!

Wow, that is a big afghan! And it looks nice and soft and squishy too.

I can't believe she got it done in such a short time. That takes talent. I am not a crocheter...or a knitter. But it's on my long list of things to do... one day...

Stay warm, my superfriend!

Love,
Marshamellow

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
