The Infinite Day Review and Giveaway

I finished reading The Infinite Day Monday nite. This book was so amazing. I would love to just tell you everything about it, but that would take away from you getting into the series when you read it. Do you know how hard it is to give a book review when you can’t say any of the good parts? :P Way too hard! I am going to try to give a review of this book without giving away any of the parts of the story.
Since this is the third part of the series, it probably won’t make much sense because you haven’t read the first two parts, but I will try to outline the main storyline and somethings I really loved about this book.

The Infinite Day

After the defeat of the evil Dominion forces at Farholme, Commander Merral D’Avanos prepares a task force to rescue thirty hostages captured by the fleeing Margrave Lezaroth. Merral’s only hope is that he can get to the hostages before they’re taken to the Lord-Emperor Nezhuala at the Blade of Night–the nexus of the Dominion’s power. But in order to get there, Merral and his crew will have to survive a perilous trip through the accursed Below-Space.
Meanwhile, news of the Dominion’s defeat reaches Ancient Earth but is tempered by the sobering truth of the enemy’s growth and strength. It is now clear that an attack on the Assembly is imminent, but how far should the Assembly go to stop it? And does the real danger lie in the Dominion or in the subtle evil that has arrived at the heart of the Assembly itself?
While sometimes to defeat evil you must go through the gates of hell, a lot of the time you just have to look inward!

I was a little sad to see Merral fall like he did. He is the hero but he is also human. While it was so wonderful to see Merral not only struggled, but came through the struggles and had a better understanding and faith than before. Kinda gives us all hope for when we fail!
I was worried about Vero for a lot of the book. I thought he was getting in too deep in knowledge and was worried that somehow that would be his demise. I won’t say more, but as he says in the end, “I was very stupid. But grace saved me!” How that rings true!

The spiritual context of this book, actually the whole series, is just amazing. I now look forward to the time when Christ will reign and we will have the holy communion with him. To read this series from the start and see how world is totally godly and there is no evil, to getting to the end and see how fast and sneakily evil came and destroyed so much is a sad realization of how easy it is for evil to corrupt our lives and spirits!

When I first got my book I was so delighted to find that it was a whopping 576 page book. This is the largest book in the series and it only took me about 3 days to read… would have been shorter, except I have a lot of other things to do too! I have found that the best books are the ones that captivate you and keep your attention. This whole series does that. I think Mr. Walley understands that you can’t spend all of your time immersed in the books, so he wrote special parts where it left you satisfied enough so that you could put it down for awhile.
I had to laugh when I came to the end and was given the choice to read on and found out how the story really ends or stop with a little summary. I knew that since this was the choice, there was more challenges and trials ahead, and while I almost had a thought to not read on, I chose to find the truth. That my friends is the real point of the series: To find truth and serve the Lord no matter what!

While I am sad that this series is now over, I have to say that the way this ended was the absolute best I have read a series ending. When I found out that this was the last book, I was a little upset and hoped that the ending would not leave me wanting for more on the story. Mr. Walley did an incredible job of ending the series with such an ending that does not make you feel like you were just dead-ended! While I wish the series could go on forever, the ending is really closing. I look forward and hope that as Mr. Walley said in his interview, he will do a spin off series.

I hope this has made you rush out to the nearest bookstore or online book place to buy the series. If not… get going! :D Once you read these books, I have a feeling you won’t be the same. As I have said, this series will open your eyes to many things, mostly about yourself.
As soon as I finish Michael O’Halloran, I plan to reread The Lamb Among The Stars Series again in full without any breaks. There is so much to learn and gain from these books, that no matter how many times you read them, God will reveal something to you that you may need to deal with in your own life.
I would like to thank Mr. Walley for creating this world for us to enjoy. I know these books will touch many lives, and I hope Mr. Walley is blessed for his work!

What I Believe

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him.
I believe in Jesus Christ. That He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father unless through Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.
I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.
I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD.
I am praying and waiting for God to bring the man of my dreams. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.
I hope to be an encouragement and teach Biblical things to all who stop by my blog and be encouraged and learn from others.
