Blogger Friend School Assignments #7 & #8
Published on November 15, 2007 at 2:31 PM

So much to do so little time to do it. There is so much to blog and now I am behind on my Blogger Friend School Assignments. Ugh... anyway... so now I am three weeks behind. So hopefully I can get today's done before next week's. lol. Here are the last 2 assignments.

Assignment #7:

"This week, I’ve decided to do another “oldie” but “goodie” assignment ….Let’s have a PUMPKIN PARTY!
This assignment is open for creativity! Share anything in your assignment post related to Pumpkins….recipes, favorite books, children’s drawings, Lapbooks and more! Easy and fun!
AND….
Share another scripture that comes to heart!"
For my pumpkin party I thought I would do something new and different. I decided to do a collage of pumpkin pictures from our little pumpkin sketch party.
    Here is my collage.
PumpkinParty.jpg picture by Super_Angel
It didn't turn out the way I was hoping. I was hoping it was going to be so modern. You know how you see those really neat pictures where they are so precise and just interesting to see.
And here is my invert collage.
PumpkinPartyInvert.jpg picture by Super_Angel
I was trying to make it black and white, but paint won't do that. It turned out this way instead. I thought it was kinda neat anyway, so I thought I would show it too.
And the verse that came to mind... well pumpkins and gourds remind me of harvest time. They actually just took down the corn fields around us last week.
Here is what the Bible says about harvest:
Matthew 9:37
"The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborours into His harvest."

Well... that pretty much says what it means. Let us pray for the believers who are too busy worrying about if they will be different from the world or about ignoring people who left your church, that they will come to realize we need each other. We need to be a body that is together. Can a body function if it is broken and in pieces?? I don't think so. We need to be in working order which means we need to get over our grudges and come together.

Assignment #8

"Woo hoo! Another week of fun! I admit that I do NOT like laundry. It is one of my least favorite chores since it is one of those chores that seems endless. I can empty all the laundry baskets and within minutes there are more clothes dumped into to fill the empty space.

Hmm…How many are thinking what is this assignment going to be? My laundry or something hidden deep within that you haven’t shared? Let me end the suspense and say BOTH! Keep in mind that these assignments are meant to stretch you and encourage you to creatively blog.

Part A - Share about your family’s laundry. Where is it kept? Who does it? How does your family sort it? Do you wash by hand? Hang clothes on the clothesline? Make your own laundry soap? How often do you do laundry? How many loads each day/week? Indoor laundry room, in the garage, or laundry mat? Even more fun…share a picture!

Part B - Do you have an area in your life that you know that the Lord is tugging at some heart strings that needs to be cleaned up? Have a testimony of your past struggle(s) that might help another homeschooling mom? Share a piece of your heart (dirty laundry) that you are seeking a good washing or how it got cleaned up. Sharing with one another is a great way to have your post feel human and real.

Part C - FIND a scripture this week that pertains to this assignment to help you with your laundry and share it this week."
I love doing laundry. Well not putting it away, but washing, drying, and folding. I love having clean clothes to be able to wear. This was just a fun assignment!! It is actually pretty funny that this was the assignment because I just posted a bit about it in my Desiring A Mind To Work

Part A:
Where is it kept?  It's in the bathroom/laundry room.  Yep our laundry room is in the bathroom. The dirty clothes are kept on the floor next to the washer, and the dirty towels are kept in the bin next to the washer.
Who does it?  I DO!! I am in charge of all the laundry. I wash, dry, and fold. Until this week, I was only folding parents, littles, and mine. Jocelyn, Rachel, Eric, and Hannie folded their own. Now I fold everyone's and put them away. Isaac and Caleb do an excellent job of folding towels with me. And Isaac usually puts his own clothes away. Such a big boy!!
How does your family sort it?  I sort into colors. darks, reds, colors(greens, grays, yellows), whites, towels, diapers, Lucy's and then of course my clothes. I do not like to wash my clothes with everyone else's because they are sooo dirty and mine aren't. Very narcissistic, I know.
Do you wash by hand?   NO!! I don't think I could do that. I love my washer too  much.
Hang clothes on the clothesline?   Yes. In the summer I hang clothes out. But we need to put up a clothes line for next year. We have one, but its not really a clothes line. It is strung from the porch to the windmill. It works ok... but its not tight enough and it sags.
Make your own laundry soap?
Nope. We use either Shaklee (which I can now order by myself) or Seventh Generation Organic laundry detergent. It's powdered too. I think It cleans better and lasts longer.
How often do you do laundry?  EVERYDAY!! EVERYDAY!!
How many loads each day/week?
I do diapers and towels separately everyday. I also try to do a load of each of the groups I divide them into. So that is.... 8-10 a day. It depends on if we have been working outside or what we have been doing.
Indoor laundry room, in the garage, or laundry mat?  Indoor laundry room!! Thank GOD!! WOOT!!

Even more fun…share a picture! Ready for this??
Here is our washer and dryer:
WasherDryer.jpg picture by Super_Angel
Here is all the cleaners and detergents we use for the whole house. If you look at the shelf beneath the top you can see where we keep the cloth diapers.
DetergentShelf.jpg picture by Super_Angel
And here is the whole laundry area. Not very big for a family of 10, huh??
LaundryArea.jpg picture by Super_Angel

Part B:
Oh man... There is so much dirty laundry in my life right now. I am really ashamed of it all. One specifically is, (and Mom has been telling me this for the last couple of weeks, and I didn't want to believe her,)... since I turned 18, I have had a superiority complex. I feel that I am an adult and should be able to do whatever I want. Go where I want, say what I want, get what I want. Without any consideration from Mom. Yes, I ask for permission because that is what I suppose to do, but if she doesn't let me do what I want, then I have an attitude problem. According to the world's standards, I am an adult. I can assume full responsibility for all my actions. So why shouldn't I be able to decide for myself what I need or want to do?? I can't do that because I am still my parent's responsibility. I am still under their protection and household.
One of the things that this assignment says to do is share a past struggle for other homeschool moms, but not being a homeschool mom that is kinda hard. lol. No really, instead here is a word of encouragement for all of you teens out there. No matter what you are struggling with always remember that there is a plan for you and if you take yourself out of God's perfect will, you will not only mess up your life, but also that of your husband, children, grandchildren, etc. Now it may only be for a season, but still once you mess something up, you will have to backtrack to fix it. We need to stop wasting time backtracking and just stay on the right track.
There are many more areas I need to work, but this is one that has really been a struggle to me this past couple of weeks. I am asking for prayer about this. Please pray for me.

Part C:
I thought a good verse for this is what I was talking about above: God' perfect will.
Romans 12:2
"And be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. that ye may prove that which is the good, and acceptable, and PERFECT will of God."

Being conformed is not only talking about the way you act or dress or do. It about talking about your attitudes and the way you are. Your demeanor, your heart, your thought process. I don't want to be conformed the way most of the people nowadays are. I want to be set apart as God's. And I want to be in His perfect will. I want it to be His way, not mine. Oh what a hard road is the one that is less traveled.

As Always,

Hey!

I liked your post. :-) Our 'laundry room' in Florida was a long, shallow closet in the hallway, with folding doors in front it. Not a room at all. Now we use our utility room for laundry, as well as our pantry, chest freezer, etc. It's a lot more space for doing laundry, which is nice.

Things are going great for me. :-) You?

One of my friends has a red Chocolate. It looks nice. :-)

Hugs,
Becca

Excellent post... I had so many thoughts while reading it... let's see how much I can remember!

Firstly, I love the pumpkin collage. I think it is very "modern" and "artsy"... well, done!

I love the verse you tied in. I remember memorizing the verse when I was Jocelyn's age when I was on a Bible Quiz Team.

We do 2-3 loads of laundry a day, but did more when we had diapers, but currently no one is in diapers around here!

I think you will find that you can use about 1/4 of the reccommended about of the Powdered Shaklee laundry detergent and get moderately dirty clothes clean still. For very dirty clothes 1/2 to 3/4 of what is recommended will work fine and for stains try a bit of liquid L to stain treat and/or soak in Nature Bright for up to 10 days if necessary. It really does work. I got grease out of a pale pink fleece vest!!!

As to the attitude... yep, that is something we all deal with moms, children, dads, even pets sometimes, I think!!! Submit yourself to God each day and remember that in giving up your own rights for the "greater good" and the Gloryof God... therein lies TRUE JOY!

OH loong post :) I like long posts :) :Lately, I have noticed I have been really snippy with people. I don't understand why. I just have. Every little thing annoys me to no end. I was sitting in the car the other day and my friend was sitting next to me, she kept leaning against my arm and for some strange reason it was annoying me and I was getting really frustrated!!!!! Argh.. I'll pray for you if you pray for me. I don't know why I am acting like this. sigh..........

Anyway, on that cheery note!!!!!!!! Yeah i do need to slow down but i got my work schedule for next week and man oh man I work 26 hours. Yet it's worth it after I get the paycheck ya know?? :D

The show was awesome! You should watch ti really. I think the littler ones might like it. I must say they do swear but it's bleeped out.. But my brother brandon,5 years old, is addicted to the show.. HAHAHA. wait that's bad huh? well at least it's semi-educational :D

Man that was so much fun I want to do that now!!! HAHAH Nice washers ours are old and small I think I would rather hand wash than put my laundrey in our washer. We go to the laundrey mat because we have hard water our hole house smells like rusty water when we do anything its really hard so we just do our clothes at the mat (wich prturbs my mum to no end) I helped my aunt with he rlaundrey and they hang there things outside the only thing wrong with that is the jeans get really stiff so I think ill stick with dryers.

Our laundry room also serves as a mud room/bathroom/utility room. We have a dryer, but we try to use it as little as possible because it takes up so much electricity.

I am so tired of doing graphics with paint. It would be so cool to have some sort of graphics program, but I'm not going to spend any of my precious college savings!! ;-)

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is in less than a week!!

it's probably my favorite "chore" other than cooking for the family which I also really like. I posted once about how we keep all the dirty clothes pre-sorted by color into hampers and it saves a bunch of time. But Wow! 8 loads a day?! -- I hope you have a heavy duty washer. :D

Wow! Great reflection on the whole superiority thing. She is right you know (I know you don't want to hear that). We ALL are like that at that age. If we do not wise up, then the Lord ends up spanking us quite a bit. And that my friend is really difficult. So, learn what you can from your parents and seek the Lord's direction in your life. Because even though you are alomost there, you still do not always know what is best for you. (Can we still be friends??) :)
I hope your time of giving thanks is truly blessed and special.

Inside laundry rooms are awesome! We've had ours for 3 years now. At our old house it was out in the garage - yuck, too dark and cold. :-)

You'll be in my prayers,

This was an interesting post for me to read!

Our family was talking about humility the day before yesterday. Coincidence? I don't think so. :)

You have a nice laundry room, I think ours is about the same lengthwise, we don't have enough room in the front to stand back and take a picture though. LOL!

I've really missed you the last couple weeks. You're one of my favorite bloggers, but getting computer time in has been difficult.

Hello Amanda,
Thanks for the comment...sorry it took me so long to get back to you.

How have you been?
I enjoyed your post....the pumkin pictures look very nice. Good idea to group them like that.

Oh...the laundry.. sounds like you have a busy job... in our house we all do our own laundry... My twin brother does his on Monday, I do mine on Tuesday...then everyone else has there days...(or where ever it fits in...) I do love to do my laundry when I can iron it and make it look nice... then hang it all up... I don't have a dresser so my stuff gets hung up... (well I have a couple drawers for little things)

I'll be praying for you too....

So what else have you been up to?

I hope you have a wonderuful day!

Sincerely,

I just wanted to recommend that if you are still using Paint for your computer artwork, you should really try GIMP. It is free software and is sooo much more powerful. There is a learning curve, but once you get used to it you will never go back!

Blogger Friend School Assignment #6
Published on October 10, 2007 at 12:16 AM

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

This week's Blogger Friend School Assignment is called Precious Past. I can't believe its been 6 weeks already. I have had so much fun completely these assignments and getting to see other classmates.

Here is what we are supposed to do: This week’s assignment is to share a piece of your past. Our blogs are important pieces for our future generations, but when most of us were growing up, blogging wasn’t around. I hope that this assignment will help you to share your past on your blogs. Each piece of our childhood years played an important part in who we are today.
The assignment is to post a baby picture & Share a special scripture that reminds you of your past.

I think this is really a neat assignment because my birthday is in 16 days and now you all get to see what I looked like as a baby!! Now, don't get scared. lol!!

This was on October 26th, 1989. Don't I look like Lucy?? Or actually Lucy looks like me.

This is at my Grandma Starr Beauty Shop, Starr Salon. I *LOVED* going to Grandma's and having her "shamp my poo" LOL!!
SuperAngel18mo.jpg picture by Super_Angel

And my scripture is this:
Jeremiah 1:5a *
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world."

That means that I am set apart to be a light in this dark world for Christ. And he knew that way before I was born. He knew what my life would be and what my testimony would be too. He knew that I would be blogging right now and getting encouragement and friends like you. Isn't it great to know that God knew everything about us way before we were even formed in our mother's womb?? WOW!!

As Always,

Hey, it's too quiet around here now that you are gone. haha

First thing I saw when I woke up was OREOS!!!!! You must really love Auntie!!! Hmmm, protein bars...Oreos.....protein bars....decisions decisions. LIKE DUH. Oreos win hands down. (You will be proud - I have not succumbed to even ONE --- well, yet anyway). ROFL

Were you comfy sleeping with Julia last night? Hope you didn't get too cold. We keep this house CHILLY. I hate any form of heat or warmth or coziness. Only cozy actually when I'm cold. To me it doesn't feel like cold. Cold is actually too hot for me. I think I need an Oreo...I'm rambling about nothing and those things are really tempting me.

Let your mom know I got the protein results back today - NO PROTEIN to speak of - which means NO pre-eclampsia. I am SO off of bedrest. YEHAW! And she had my hopes up about letting you guys watch the goats while she and your dad came down!!!! Wassssamatta wit her getting my hopes up?! Sus is already sad you and Joci are gone...she was extra bouncy and grinny cuz you were here. :-)

Love you! (And Joci too)

Julia's bed was so comfortable. Tell her thank you for letting us sleep in it. We were plenty warm. I had my quilt and that thing is toasty. So no problem on your igloo for a house. lol
YAY!! I am SOO HAPPY about the protein and pre-eclampsia. That is so great to hear. Just so you know the whole way down to your house from knoxville. I was praying really hard that everything would just turn out normal, Sus and you would be in great shape and that everything that was wrong would be gone. SO when you got home and told us that I was about in tears. I was so happy.
Now, just keep that bp down and we will see Sus before you know it. I mean, my 18th bday is in 13days. How does that happen??
I told Mom to just go ahead and go. altho that would be very hard to see them all go to see you all. Oh well. Maybe they will.
Awww... I am sad that we left too. eat an Oreo for me for Sus. Lol. Well I seriously can't wait to see how beautiful she is.
Love you!!
Amanda

Blogger Friends School Assignment #5
Published on October 3, 2007 at 3:58 PM

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

You know, I am just loving the Training Hearts Blogger Friend School. The assignments are just so fun.
This week's Blogger Friend Assignment is "Say It With Signs". Here is what you do:

This is creative blogging assignment but hopefully it will help offer help to some newer bloggers still trying to learn “how” to add pictures to their blogs and also help learn your classmates names to easily identify them… and it’s just FUN!

The Assignment this week it to use your Blog Name (or your own pen/real name) and create signs. There are two ways to do this and you can do one or both ways.

  1. Visit Image Chef (www.ImageChef.com) and create some free cute signs. The easiest way to explain this is follow the templates — choose, customize (type in name), and then Preview. Once you see the design, right click and SAVE to your computer.
  • Now once you saved it to your computer….. you will need to upload it to an image host like www.PhotoBucket.com OR www.Flickr.com These are both FREE photo hosting sites that you can create an account, upload your pictures, and they will give you links to your pictures that you can use to upload to your blog.

AND/OR you can be really creative and create your own signs, take digital pictures and share them. (Examples….Refrigerator Magnets, Shaving Cream, Frosting, etc.)

2. Share a special verse!

For my "signs", I choose things that go with my them or that I like. I had so much fun making these. (click for bigger images)

Thank you, Cam for helping me with this one.

My scriptures this week are about coming back to God and what will happen if we do.

Jeremiah 3:22 *
"My wayward children, the Lord says, ‘Come back to me, and I will heal you wayward hearts."

Jeremiah 4:2 *
"And if you will swear by my name alone, and begin to live good, honest lives and uphold justice, then you will be a blessing to the nations of the world, and all people will come and praise my name."

Blogger Friends School Assignment #4
Published on September 26, 2007 at 12:50 PM

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

I have had so much fun doing the Training Hearts Blogger Friend School. Mrs. Tamara is just such a sweet, caring and awesome lady!! She is so very creative too. I mean she comes up with all the assignments. WOW!!

The Internet offers a lot of treasures! It may not be in the form of actual gold, although I’m sure some could find some on the Internet - probably on ebay! Being a Blogger Friend is all about sharing our treasures. The assignment this week is to share your Internet treasures. Below is a list featurning things that homeschooling moms might be looking for : information, support, ideas, or actual items that pertain to our lives. Each one of us holds some or all of these treasures that need to be shared. Take this list and add your “golden” treasured sites so that we may all share the wealth.

So this week we are "panning for gold". Oohh... Gold... panning for gold kinda goes with our pioneer study we are doing.

Anyway, here is Blogger Friend School Assignment #4:

A website that you visit everyday:
    My Blog

First place you look for a book to buy:
    The Old Schoolhouse Store.

Favorite Homeschool Support Area:
Uh... my favorite Mom bloggers I go to. They are listed in my right hand sidebar.

Homeschool site full of information that you use regularly:
    My Mom.

Site that you buy your new curriculum from:
We don't really have a specific site. We shop around. Our favorite stores are- Heart of Wisdom, & The Old Schoolhouse Store are the two we really like.

Site that you buy your used curriculum from:
    eBay & HomeschoolBuy.

Site that offers frugal tips to save money:
    Sprittibee.

A site that provides good wholesome recipes:
My Learning Experience... The Homesteading Carnival lol... well I like alot of the Homesteadbloggers. They have awesome recipes.

An informational site that shows you “how” to:
man, this is hard... I have no clue.

A homeschool family website that you purchase from to support them:
    Bundled In Prayer

A charity website that you support:
    I don't have one. : (

Favorite Graphic site to get graphics for your blog or other things:
Paulie, Jed, and Eric. Custom made graphic makers!! altho I am hoping to get some college classes and a program so I can make my own.

Site that offers an educational calendar listing important historical events and also to keep you informed on upcoming events. (ex: Fire Safey Week):
I don't have one. But that is a good site to find. So I am going to find one!!

Site that offers Homeschool Freebies:
    HomeschoolEstore & FreeStuffForHomeschoolers.

Site that offers any kind of Freebies:
    DixonContestBlog & CuriousCat.

A blog to read that is always full of humor:
    drewsfamilytx & Titus2woman.

A blog to read that is always full of useful information:
HSBCompanyBlog, Home Where They Belong, HeartnSoul, & Mrs. Hanley.

A blog to visit because it is eye appealing and easy to read:
The Perils of Parenting and Other Ponderings. Auntie Christina is just such a great read. She shares her trials and her happiness. Love you!!
Trust In The Lord. Amber has a BEAUTIFUL blog and she always has something awesome to read!!

A blog that you read because it inspires you to be a better homeschooling mom:
Hmm... As I am not a homeschooling mama yet, I don't know about one that inspires me to a better homeschooling mom, but there are so many mom blogs I love to read that have alot of great information and they do give me ideas that I will use when I am a homeschooling mama.
Some of them are: DevDoorDeborah, JilllNovak, Pattycake, SimpleFolk Homeschool and of course MOM!!

A site that you would allow your children to visit:
Hmm.... no children, but being a child I am allowed to visit sites that pertain to my blog.

List any other sites that you would like to share that have provided you with a wealth of golden information:
Oh boy, I have no clue. Any other blogs that I go to.

This is not a good assignment for me. I have absolutely no clue what to put for some of these. Oh man, that was alot harder than the ABC's. I don't do alot of this stuff, Mom does. Well, you all best go over to Mom's blog, cause she's got gold coming out her ears about this sort of stuff!! lol.
Ok... off to get my extra credit. I hit 5 people last week, which is half, so hopefully I can reach the full 10 this week!!

As Always,

My dear Amanda,

I am afraid I cannot agree with you about not wanting to be labeled. I agree that I do not want any worldly labels, but I do want to be "godly" and I do not ever want to grow out of being that way. I always want to be like Christ. You wrote a great post though. I always enjoy your blog.

I love the new background. Very "eye catching". :)

Yeah I am doing alot better now. Thank you so much for your prayers! :)

I have a little problem with actually accepting the eyeing and judging by other teen girls no matter what. Ya know? It's one of the many traits of Julia Nicole Wall that I wish to change. I wish to just be satisfied with being me. Does this make sense?

I guess I get so frustrated because I am like 'You don't even know me and yet you judge me with a single look'. I want people to stop thinking I am just like the worlds teens. I am not. I was telling Jocelyn that I don't want a boyfriend. But being sixteen everyone (including church members) believe I am just like the worlds teens in that 'OHhhh.. I'm sixteen I need a boyfriend to love me forever'. HA! I am not stupid, you can't be in love at 16 yet everyone thinks I think that way..

Ok.. Thanks for listening to me complain :P

Love
Julia

Blogger Friend School Assignment #2 & #3
Published on September 22, 2007 at 1:44 PM

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

BLAST!! I missed the Training Hearts Blogger Friend School Assignment #2. Ugh!! I tell ya, I have not been on the pc much at all lately.

Well since me the perfectionist can't move on to something else when the thing before it isn't done, I am completing both #2 and #3 assignments right now!!

Blogger Friend Assignment #2

A. Look at your “dream” place last week and using your creative juices and things in or around your home, CREATE a special place to blog. Most good writers have a location that is a comfort to them and makes their writing time enjoyable and productive. Share some quick ideas!

My special place was my room last week. That is where I wish I could blog. I would sit on my bed on wireless and speed away and do what I need to do.

B. Once you have created that special place…SHARE A PICTURE of where you blog. Remember to be creative! {I REALLY look forward to seeing this creativity. Some of you last week shared some really neat imaginative posts and I know that this will be a challenge!}

I would take a picture of where I blog, but it’s at the library and I don’t think they would let me a take picture.

C. Share a verse this week that is upon your heart!

Ephesians 6:1 “Children obey your parents in the Lord for it is right.” I have really been struggling with just doing what I am told. I should  be way past this, but alas, I am still immature in some areas.

Blogger Friend School Assignment #3

There were both so much fun to do. It was really neat trying to come up with them. I was going to use the Superman symbol and see if I could find the whole aphabet in it, but alas, I couldn't find one. Man, it would have been so neat if I had.

And the verse that has been on my heart lately...  Jeremiah 4:3b-4 "Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seeds among thorns. Cleanse your minds and hearts before the Lord, or may anger will burn like an unquenchable fire because of your sins."

Blogger Friend School Assignment #1
Published on September 11, 2007 at 7:47 PM

This Article was published in Blogger Friend School

Mrs. Tamara at Training Hearts has allowed me to join in the Blogger Friend School this year. This is a great way to do school and I am thankful that Mrs. Tamara is taking time and putting all these assignments together. WOW!! That must take alot of work.
So here is Assignment #1-“Meme Style:

A. Give a brief introduction paragraph stating how you got started blogging and your personal goals for journaling.
Mom got a blog and decided that I NEEDED one for school. So I got my blog. I have found that I can accomplish so many different subjects while blogging. Plus make loads of friends!! Blogging is so neat.

B. Share a “dream” place to blog in picture if you can. Suggestions…..a rock on the beach, under a tree at a park….take or find a picture(s) that would best describe a PLACE that you would LOVE to blog. DREAM!

Well like my Mom, I think it would have to be a time, not a place. A time when I don't have to be disturb or on a time limit. But I guess if it is a place then it would be on my bed with the laptop with wireless. Maybe sipping one of my favorite drinks. Ahhh.....

C. Answer some questions to tell us more about you:
   1. What time do you usually blog?
Mondays and Thursdays. Whenever we get to the library. Mostly late afternoons.

   2. What is your favorite drink?

Raspberry Ice Tea and...         Iced Coffee and....            Hot Coffee.

    3. What is your favorite book?
oohh... hard question. Umm... Most of the books I have read.

   4. What is your favorite dessert?
I don't think I have one. What ever tastes good. But I really do like my great grandmother's cheesecake. Oh it is so good!!

   5. Share a scripture that has been an inspiration in your growth with Christ.
There are alot that have inspired me in my growth, but I think these are some of my favorites:
    2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land."

    Joel 2:12
"That is why the Lord says, ‘Turn to me now, while there is still time! Give me your hearts. Come with fastings, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in grief, instead, tear your hearts.’ Return to the Lord your God, for He is a gracious and merciful. He is not easily angered. He is filled with kindness and is eager not to punish you. Who knows? Perhaps even yet He will give you reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this terrible curse. Perhaps He will give you so much that you will be able to offer grain and wine to the Lord your God as before!"

    Isaiah 43:1
"But now, O Israel, the Lord who created you says, ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name, you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble I will be with you. When you go through rivers if difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of depression, you will not be burned up, the flames will not consume you. For I am God, the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."

    Isaiah 1:18-20
"Come now, let us argue this out," says the Lord, "No matter how deep the stains of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you white as wool. If you will only obey me and let me help you, then you will have plenty to eat. But if you keep turning away and refusing to listen, you will be destroyed by your enemies. I, the Lord, have spoken."
