Oh my word!! Thank you all SO MUCH!! I cannot express how much this means to me. I cannot express how much I love you all. I feel so special that you all did that for me. You all are so SWEET, AWESOME, and SUPER!! I am so blessed to have so many caring and loving friends such as you all. God has given me a wonderful birthday this year. He brought you all in my life and I cannot tell you how much you all mean to me.
I went to EVERYONE's parties and I am astonished that each and everyone of you took time to do that for me. I spent most of Friday looking at all of them and I didn't want to leave just a generic thank you, so I didn't leave anyone comments. But I will be doing that as soon as this entry is up.
I had an AWESOME weekend. Starting with Friday and seeing the HUGE surprise Joc had done for me. We had a great party on Saturday. I will be posting about it as soon as I get it typed up. The Novak's just left today, so that is why I haven't been able to get on. So much has happened that it will take me forever to get it all on a post. Because it has been a whirlwind of excitment, I decided to do a series of posts.
I just wanted to get a THANK YOU post up for you all. You mean so much to me and like the title of this post says, THANK YOU is NOT Enough for everything you have all done for my 18th birthday. It TRULY was the BEST birthday I have ever had.
Oh, and I have the winner of my Super Superman Contest. I will be announcing that in the next couple days too!!

Wow! I didn't think my post would actually bring tears to your eyes. But they were obviously good tears, and I meant every single word of it too. First, I want to congratulate Paulie and Eric. They are now a part of the HSB Tech Squad. I have a feeling that HSB will now be a better place to blog. ; )
Congrats, Dudes!!
Second, yesterday was Julia's 11th birthday. Please stop on over at her blog and wish her a happy birthday!!

Can you say a prayer for us? My church is having a lot of problems, we need this reviving. Tell your mom I really would come but...a 6/7 hour drive, that's not a hop in the car and come thing. lol. What's Going On Lately...

It is October 6th. 20 days til my 18th birthday. I can't believe it. I can't wait. Are you coming to my SUPER bash?? So far I have... no one coming. LOL!! And I must say, I thought I would have almost all of you coming by now. lol!! We will still be having the bonfire and cookout, don't know about the dancing and hay ride. lol. Would be kinda hard to dance when its only my family and me!! Altho we have 9 people who can dance, it wouldn't be very fun. Oh well, sometimes things don't go the way we want.
Like Thursday nite, when I was recording Smallville. Well, it doesn't come in good at all and I was really trying to get it in so at least we could see some of it. It wouldn't quit skipping, so I recorded some and then played it back to make sure you could see, you could. So I just left it skipping because I knew it would be fine on the tape. Well... we were watching it last nite, and after the 2nd commercial break, it was skipping. Man... it did it the rest of the show. So for about 45min of the show it was skipping and we couldn't see it at all. ugh... well at least we could listen to it. lol. Well towards the last 15min. it started skipping in the voices too. So needless to say it was hard to figure out what was going on. By the end of it, Jocelyn was complaining she had a headache from watching it skip so much. So that didn't go my way.
Dad was on vacation last week, and to my surprise, he took off this coming week too!! 2 weeks vacation. WOOT!! Can't wait to find out what we will be doing next. We didn't really do anything special this week. Just kinda took it easy.
Lucy will be 6 months tomorrow!! WOW!! I can't believe it. She is getting so big and sweeter everyday.
I don't know if ou noticed, but I took off that I was reading Bleak House. That book was so boring. Even watching the movie didn't help me get interested into it. So I am now rereading "The Shadow At Evening" by Chris Walley. It is part of "The Lamb Among The Stars Series". I really enjoy these books. Altho I can't figure out when they are set because I want to think that its after Jesus came back, but I can't figure it out. Oh well... maybe when I get book 3 it will explain it more. "Dark Foundations" is on my birthday wish list.
The Super Secret Angels session #1 is coming to an end. I ran it for 3 months and now everyone is excited to see who was such an encouragement to them. I am accepting submissions to join the next session. Check out the Super Secret Angels blog for more info on how to sign up to be a part of the next one.
I posted a funny story about what an Oreo really is according to Mom at My Learning Experience. LOL!! It's pretty funny, you should go read it.
And... check out the Saturday Psalm and Praise below this post.
So that is what's been going on lately here... I don't think I forgot anything. lol!!

Very cool about your dad's vacay. It is so nice to spend time together with everyone at home.
I don't know if it's just my tired old eyes or not, but I'm having a hard time reading your post with the red font on top of the blue background. Is it just me? Maybe with a darker shade of red it would be easier to read the words?
I could still read it of course but just FYI. Just don't go through too much trouble for little ole me. :-)
I can't believe Lucy is almost 6 months old! She is one adorable little lady with the most beautiful eyes.

I love reading about "life" posts :) I am currently reading Simple Gifts by Lori Copeland. Then I will be reading Sophie's Dilema by Lauraine Snelling. I started to watch 300 last night (after reading your mom's post about it) but about 15 mins in I turned it off. I was watching it on the computer and so it was... skipping. (LOL!) and the voices were five minutes behind the actually talking. Also, it was just to boring for me. But I did hear the famous line 'THIS.. IS.... SPARTA!!!!' :D
Instead I turned on Troy. :)
I have been wearing skirts since I was 7 years old. So I have learned to "adapt" sort of... :D Yeah the world won't spare us one skirt.. argh.. lol!
Hmm.. Lets see.. I watched a marathon of SV I think of Last season...? Not sure what season it was. For all I know it could have been 2 years ago. Yeah it probably is confusing to me. I can watch it from the beginning and catch up though. Just sitting down and finding the time to do that is the hard part :P

A Super Week!!

You know, God is just so good to me. I was feeling down a couple days ago, and wasn't doing too well. Then I logged into to hsb and my really super friend, Jed, had pmed me. Which was a totally surprise as I am not allowed to pm people. He had some really encouraging words for me and I was uplifted. In his message there was also a url... so I opened it and look what it is:
He is taking some college courses on graphic designs, so he wanted to try out some new techniques. I think that is really cool. It was so nice to get it too.

I have been looking into getting some college classes on computer technology too. I think that is what I want to get into. I was a looking at a local college and they also had some course on entrepreneurship/owning your own business. I was thinking when I saw that that I don't need that class because I think I know what I would need to do to start my own business. Being homeschooled has given me many opportunities that have already enabled me to be able to start my own business.
In case you haven't noticed... my blog has changed a bit. I couldn't stand the dark navy anymore. It was bogging me down. I was watching "Superman Returns" with Cal-Eb the other nite, and noticed that his suit isn't the navy I had. So being the perfectionist that I am, I had to change it to match. I actually like my new look better. My background is kinda cool too. It looks alot brighter on IE than Mozilla. But I really like it better.
We also have dsl now. WOOT!! If only I could get it hooked up. It has been a pain to figure out why it won't work. I am going to call the company today and ask them about. I think there is something missing. But once we get it hooked up, we'll be FLYING!!
And... my Dad is just so great!! Last Wednesday, Smallville season 6 came out on dvd, and I have been wanting to get it before the premiere of the 7th season that aired last nite. So since Monday I had been asking Dad to get it. Well he just didn't. So Tuesday nite I had begged him to make sure he got it before he came home. He was then gone for an hour and a half and it usually doesn't take him that long to just get a few things from the store. So I figured that he had went to Best Buy and gotten it. He came home with 2 grocery bags. Now knowing my dad I knew he wouldn't have brought it in. So as I was empty out the bags, I just knew it wouldn't be there. We ate, I blogged, and we cleaned up. By the time I was done, Dad had already gone to bed. So I went out and SEARCHED his truck for it. I looked high and low in that thing for it and it was not there. ugh!! I was really wanting to watch it that nite. I thought for sure he had gotten it, but I was wrong. I was bummed.
So Wednesday, I was bound and determined to get it. I was going to go to town and just buy it. I called Dad a couple times and his phone wasn't working, so I couldn't talk to him. I finally got a hold of him later that day tho and asked him if he had seriously not gotten it. All he said was, "If it was a snake, it would have bitten you." (Of course I have had enough of animal bites to last me for awhile.) So I knew he had gotten it. The next 20min I was on the phone we were playing the "can you guess where the snake is" game. I searched everywhere my dad had gone last nite and still could not find it. All the while Dad was laughing and thinking it funny that I couldn't find it!! But I finally just sat on my bed, and looked in my blankets. It was stuck in the way back of my bed under my blankets. Oh man it was not funny. I was thinking, yeah the snake could have bitten me, but I still couldn't have seen it. lol. That's my dad, the jokester, for you!! I am so happy that I have it tho. We only got to watch a few episodes that nite. Then Thursday, we got to watch a few more. 8pm rolled in faster than I expected, and the season 7th premiere was on. We had to tape it tho cause we hadn't eaten dinner and no one, but Mom and I had seen the last episode of season 6. So last nite we watched a few more 6 episodes and then everyone went to bed. Mom and I stayed up then and watched the season 7 episode. It was really good. It didn't seem very long tho. Wish I could have seen it better tho. lol. We don't actually have the channel it comes in, so we can see more snow than not. Thankfully the signal was strong last nite and I got it in pretty clearly. Anyway, I am sure you don't care about that anyway, but I just had to share. I was so excited about it!!
In other good news, Dad is on vacation for the next 12 days!! WOOT!! I can't wait to see how much fun we have this vacation. We had a blast for the last one!! We have actually had a blast for the past month. We have had so much that we have done.
We met Sharla, we went to the Johnny Appleseed Festival, we met Eric, Dulcy might sell, we went to the fall festival down in our town, and now Dad is on vacation. Yippee!!

I was so upset the other night cause I missed it! The season opener I mean. It looked good. We had church though and I forgot to set the recorder. Argh. I'm sure it will be on again.
Yeah I am the same way most of the times. When I am around guys I get really quiet and don't put my two sense in the conversation. There aren't many guys around here, actually none in our church so yeah i don't have to worry about that. lol!

High speed Internet?! (Yippee!) You will be AMAZED! Those city slickers have no idea what we country folks have had to deal with when it comes to dial up. I always loved joking around with my Dad...it's those times that I remember the most...I couldn't have been more than 5 or 6, and I remember I was sitting on his lap eating a banana, and I stuck it up to him, and he grabbed off a bite, and to this day I still remember saying "I fed the monkey, I fed the monkey"....*BS* Memories last a lifetime!!

Oh I wish I could go!!! *sigh* But my mommy schedule prohibits any real travelling for quite a while. Lessons, soccer, moving, soccer, lessons... But it's good to be forced to stay home for long periods of time. It takes some adjustment since we've always been a pack and go family... but being home with David and my kidlets is the very best thing in the whole wide world and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
The boys were outside tonight building a teepee (we're studying the Powhatan and other Indian tribes) and trying to hunt squirrels with their weapons (sharp, pointed sticks). No luck today, but there is always tomorrow. I think I need to show them how to make a bow and arrow... Wait, I could see the impending ER visit with that... maybe I'll show them another day/year. Or make them wear helmets and safety goggles...
I loved those pics of your little superman! Every expression was priceless and totally made me smile! I'm glad he's protecting y'all. Evil is bound to stay away with him standing guard.

A Little Bit of Everything

Ok... don't have anything deep today. But I do have some fun and odd stuff...
To start off... Take a look at this:
Is that totally super or what?? My AWESOME friend, Paulie, took that for me when they went through Metropolis. Wouldn't it just be so cool to actually go to a city called Metropolis. LOL!!
In other news... We watched the entire extended version of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I forgot how much I *LOVE* those movies. They are just so inspirational. It makes me want to read the books again. Mom posted about one of my favorite parts. It is just so powerful and true what Gandalf says.
And.... you may not know this, but Jocelyn is crazy!! She was DEFINITELY born in the wrong century. So we watched LOTR and she didn't... weird I know. But then Dad brought home 300, (disclaimer: that is not a good movie. We only watched the battle scenes. I do not recommend it.) but now Joc is all about fighting. She wants to sword fight. Crazy girl. One thing I did like about the movie is at the end, the one guy says: "This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny, and usher in a future brighter than anything before." Isn't that such a good quote. Let us be rid of the magic and mysticism that floods our world and bring in a light that will usher out all darkness. That is what Jesus will do when he returns.
Lucy is so precious and sweet. She is getting so big too. She loves to sit in her jumpy and play. She especially loves playing with Caleb. Her face lights up when she sees him.
School... it is slowly happening. But everyday is schooling and learning, so I am learning. It may be character training and spiritual training, but I need those more than any it seems.
Mom and I were looking up domains online, and unfortunatly superangel.com is taken. So I think I am going to funk it up a bit and see if I can get one that isn't taken.
LOL!! Mom posted a really funny story about me and her and our late nite adventures. It is pretty hysterical, so go read it.

Oh well. Maybe I'll remember later. It is currently over 90 here and I am sweating too much. Stinky, sweaty and soon off to take Dash to soccer practice. I amd DEFINITELY ready for winter... although it doesn't really ever come to Houston.
Oh, I did like the LOTR movies but by the end of the second one and definitely by the end of the third one, I just wanted to scream JUST DROP THE RING ALREADY!!!
Maybe it's just me, but I thought it took an inordinately long amount of time at the end to drop the thing in the fire.
Okay, that's all for now my superfriend! Oh and RYC, it takes A LOT to offend me. And if for some reason you ever did, I would take it to you privately to be dealt with. I'm not one to openly bash someone or hold it in and get bitter. I just assume deal with things as they come and fix misunderstandings. They are inevitable in life so why draw out the process!

I spent the night in Metropolis!!!! When we pulled in, there were tornado warnings and the lady at the campground said if we heard tornado sirens, we have to go to the courthouse. About 30 minutes later the sirens went off. We went to the courthouse and my little brother was crying and terrified. And since they have a big statue of Superman standing outside at the front of the courthouse, we told him the Superman will keep him safe from the tornadoes. The next morning we went all over Metropolis. I love that town. I have pictures of it somewhere, and I will post them for you if I can find them. I also gave you an award, come to my blog to see it. I enjoyed reading your post…random ones are always fun.
I love Lord of the Rings….(extended is the only way to watch them) So I’ll probably watch them today because I have lots of sewing to get done. Rose is over doing sewing today….I’m making a pirate shirt and coat and Rose is making some pants from a really old pattern from 1919.
Your tag was fun to read….the questions were different then most tags.
Oh, I like Mexican food too, but I think my favorite kind of food would be Italian.
As to my favorite actors…..I couldn’t really think of any.
That’s a bummer that superangel.com was taken……I’ll have to see if BrielleCostumes.com is being used somewhere.

I don't think that Jocelyn is crazy. In our old choir, almost every year we did basic fencing, marial arts, or learned how to wield pikes. It was so cool. Also learning to fence sound really neat to me. I have several friends who fence, and once for choir they did a demonstration. It was awesome.
