here: I have uncovered that today is Orange Knight's birthday! Go on over to his blog and tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! here: I am conducting a investigative report. If you have any information please contact me. I received an anonymous comment on Saturday that requested that I not leave so many graphics on a comment. It said that it slowed down the loading of the page and that they didn’t really know what they meant anyway. Could you please identify yourself? I have a lot of other blogger friends that don’t care if I leave them, and if I don’t know who you are then I don’t know where I can’t leave them! I am going to take a poll. If you don’t want me to leave my sigs on comments, please let me know. If you don’t care if I do let me know! There will be no hard feelings about this at all. here: I have some praise reports! PRAISE #1 I have a BEAUTIFUL beauty mark on my right cheek. I luv it to death! A couple weeks ago I had a zit pop up under it. It scabbed up and it started coming off. So I went to just clip it off so it wouldn’t tear, and noticed that my beauty mark was coming off with the scab, so I just left it alone. Put a bandage on it with some ointment. I started bawling. I thought, " It’s GONE!" I was in fear for awhile! So I had MOM pray for healing that it would still be there when the scab did come off. And then the scab came off! When it initially came off, the mark was not there, but I knew that we had prayed over it and it would be fine. I was a little anxious about it! But a few days later it was there. It is not as dark as it was before, but it is getting back to the way it was. So PTL!! I still have my BEAUTIFUL beauty mark! PRAISE #2 My Grandma was in the hospital for a week last year. She had a really big problem with her kidneys. She was deathly ill. So when she got out she had HUGE medical bills. And she thought that Indigent (state health plan) would help her pay them. But they said that they wouldn’t pay the bills for her. So she has been paying her bills faithfully and getting them paid off. Well she sent a payment in a couple weeks ago and the doctor’s office called to let her know that the account had been paid in full. WOW!! They had said that Indigent had paid the bills, and they owed her money! She still owed the hospital for some of the bills and went to pay them a couple weeks after the above and that was paid too. So she called Indigent to see what was going on, and the lady said that they didn’t pay it! So Grandma called the hospital back and found out that the hospital cleared the account b/c they thought that Indigent was going to pay for it. So the hospital ended up paying for ALL of the medical bills! How great and wonderful is God? PRAISE #3 My dad and Eric have finished the siding on the house. They have spent a lot of the summer doing it. They also got up the gutters with a little help from SUPERANGEL. PRAISE #4 Last week Alatariel and I were riding our bikes into town and I was carrying my SUPERMAN Bag with some packages in it to mail. I also had a can of Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream. So I needed to adjust my bag and I asked Alatariel to grab the can. So she stopped all the way to grab it and my brakes don’t work too well so sometimes when I pull on them to stop they just slow down, but this time they COMPLETELY STOPPED and I went flying over my handlebars. My bag caught on my bike and tore. I hit my knee on the payment and then caught myself from completely falling flat on my face. Even managed to get some blacktop on my toenail. So when I got up my knee really hurt. Afterward my entire upper body hurt along with my knee. I did manage to finish the ride into town and back! I was so grateful that I didn’t break my knee or bust open my chin again. Or break something else! So that is a praise! Well I think that is all for PRAISES. For now anyway! here: I have a new job! I am now the Editor for LOTRLOUNGE. My resume just keeps getting better! Come visit us there. There are bios of all the members of the board. We are a really great site for information on all things Lord of the Rings. here: Some Cool News! On Sunday we went to see my Great-Grandparents and we also got to meet a BLOGGER IN REAL LIFE!!! How cool is that? We met Berylla . She is a really awesome lady! I am glad to call her among my friends! reporting here: Some Sad News! I don't know if you have heard the news but Steve Irwin, better known as "The Crocodile Hunter" was stung by a MantaRay on Monday. He died instantly. The barb of the Manta's tail stuck him right in the middle of his heart and pierced him. It took 3 pumps to get all the blood out of his heart into his chest cavitiy. He had no time to make peace with his SAVIOR! ARE YOU READY! I do not know if he was saved or not! He was shooting the new show that he and his daughter are making. The show was entitled, "The Ocean's Deadliest!" Please pray for his wife, Terri, 9-yo Daughter and 3-yo son as they mourn the loss of husband, father, and "Crocodile Hunter" ©AmandaDixon2006 Check out my last post: Education, My View. Hi Amanda!
Wow, a long post calls for a long comment!
First off, about seeing mine and my mom's video clips, just pull up the permanent blog post link and wait about a minute. If it doesn't load fully, the clip usually does not play. Usually, it will start on it's own once it's loaded. :)
About your signature line-- I don't really care if you leave it on or not. It might make it slower for dial-up users, but we've got satellite. ;)
Dr. Pepper Berries N Cream is the best! I'm so glad it was not harmed in your gutsy acrobatic bike move. No more wheelies! j/k
PTL concerning all your praise requests. :)

It wasn't me, I think that the stuff on your blog is really neat. I'm glad for you and your beauty mark, your grandmother, your house, and not getting hurt when you fell, God really is amazing. I did here about CH, that's SO SAD, I will defiantly pray for his family. Got to go(remember, don't change a thing on your blog)!

OK so in the shadow of Mom, BLOGGER OF THE WEEK, btw, and Alatariel having their contests; Back to School, which ends Fri. and Trivia Questions , which ended yesterday. I decided to have one, imagine that! And the reason for this contest is Curufinwe was wondering. Ok so here are the details: The first person to tell me what Siol Enal means wins a SUPERMAN logo item. I have not decided on what the prize will be yet, but like Willie Wonka says, "The best kind of PRIZE is a SURPRIZE", or in my case SUPERPRIZE! Amber, I am sorry dearie, but you are already disqualified. Being that you already know! But in light of that YOU can pick the winner. But it will be an easy pick being the details. Here is something else for you all. I will be starting a "What is hidden in SUPERANGEL’s cape" every week. I will be picking a small little something and giving 4 clues and you have to guess what it is. How FUN does that sound? I know really FUN, right? So that will be starting probably next week, maybe, not sure. Well let the guessing begin. Have FUN FUN FUN FUN! ©AmandaDixon2006 Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet" Daughter of Jacque Dixon Sister of & and I have no idea how to get these boxes off here, I tried to no avail.

Don't Mess
Published on August 16, 2006 at 11:02 AM

I thought these were very cute! Here's to you icart
Reasons not to mess with children.
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".
A Kindergarten teacher: was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing.
She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."
A Sunday school teacher: was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds.
After explaining the commandment to "honor" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"
Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, "Thou shall not kill."
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead."
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
"Take only ONE. God is watching"
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples.

Randoming Today!

I do not have anything specific to blog about today! So I am randoming what has been goin on here at "The Daily Planet" lately!
I went and saw SUPERMAN RETURNS on Tuesday, the nite before it came out! YAHOO! Go here to read all about it! SUPERMAN RETURNS -AWESOME!!
And SMALLVILLE has another season coming out!!!! Go HERE to read all about! It's Not Over!!?? OH MY GOSH!! There is more!!
There is a really neat blogger I think that you should all go check out!
Amber
She is a really AWESOME lady. She is a mom who is trying to become what God wants her to be. Because Trying is Bravery! We have gained a real true friend! We LUV talking to her all the time! Whenever we talk to her we always are cheered up! She is funny, sweet, very creative in everything! That is all I think of right now, but I KNOW there is sooo much more to tell about her!
I LUV you, Amber!
She is like the big sis I never got. (I am the oldest)
Also check out CanadaGirl she is a really neat mom too! Very Encouraging! And she is having a Bday this week!
We have gone to work twice this week. And I learned something that I didn’t know before: Vinegar eats cement and grout!
WOW! I went to work and got a science lesson from it! How neat is that?
We will be working almost everyday for a couple weeks and then we will be dogsitting while Mr. Schenck goes to Alaska! Fun!
We will be going down to southern IN this next week. We were going to go this weekend, but due to some technical difficulties we had to postpone.
My grandma will be coming up around the 4th and my aunt and uncle are hoping to come up the week after.
My counter hit 1,000 people on Thursday! And I am already at 1,025 at 1:00am on Saturday.
I am working on my SUPERMAN bag! Coming together really well! I have to get some yellow thread though to outline it before I can sew the 2 pieces together! Will be posting pics as soon as I’m done!
Trying to figure out a way to get pics of my full size quilt that I made on here! I think it’s too big, but I will try. After all, I am SUPERANGEL!
I have read almost the entire Old Testament. Very interesting! I have learned stuff that I never knew!
My dad now has to work on all his days off at the Post Office, except Sun. and Holidays! BUMMER!
I changed my sidebar! Check it out!
We did get some Chocolate Coffee Beans, but not Dark Chocolate. But the will suffice for now!
We got to go see my great grandparents last weekend! It was really a great experience. I got to hear about my grandfather and the war. He explained who was in what pics of when he was in the war. I was a great bonding time!
Alatariel posted about her experience too. Here is what she learned: Stepping Back Into The 40's
We also saw my great aunt while we were there. She is lonely. She only has one daughter and she works and her granddaughters work too, so she doesn’t have anyone to come spend a lot of time with her. And her last name is gone. Since she had no sons to carry it on, there are no more Castlemans that are related to them! How sad! The reason she doesn’t have any more children is because her husband went on safaris and shot wild animals and was never home! I feel really bad for her.
My great grandpa (her brother, above) used to take her out to get her hair done, or grocery’s and stuff like that, now he has to quit driving, so they are not going to be able to do that anymore. So here is a lesson to be learned. Have children to take care of you when you are old.
And we got to go to BONNIE DOONS! Oh Yeah! I got a double dipped Chocolate Almond and Cookies & Crème waffle cone! It was HUGE! Nobody could believe I ate it all. But what was I supposed to do, let it drip all over or let them eat? I don’t think so.
Ok I think that is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet"!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I feel terrible for never visiting any of my homeschool blogger friends anymore. I am just too busy. I enjoyed reading your random update. ;-) And I guess it slipped my mind that you were a secretary too. Did I know that? (tries to think back) Oh well. I never thought I liked baking really, but I find that I actually don't mind it as much as I thought I did. Meaning...... I guess I really do like to bake. LOL And as for secretarial work.... it's ok I guess, but there seems to be a lot of pressure at my Dad's office if I'm there for any other reason other than just doing the extra stuff. Partly because I will have to work there a LOT over the next few weeks (I think) because his head secretary is going in for a surgery of some sort. :-( You can pray that I take it well. I'm still trying to accept some things in my life, and working in Dad's office, as a secretary, and understanding and working with all the millions of things he is associated with........ it's just confusing and stressful sometimes. :-)
Life goes on. God is good. And He is sooooooo patient with me! Praise His Name!
Have a great 4th of July!!!
~Stephanie
P.S. I love your mouse trailer!!! I played with it for several mintues! haha Very creative!

Sorry I didn't get to come back and chat. After chores then dinner we went to see the fireworks. These are times I really wished I had a digital camera ! I would have loved to post some of the fireworks. They were great but I wish I could have done without the rain. lol
It didn't really start raining till the end. Thank goodness. lol

Hey!
No fair, I wanted to see Superman Returns!! But the only other person in my family who wants to see it is my brother, so there's no one to take us...*sobs* LOL
Your blog looks really good! And I LOVE your cursor!
Okay so I know you might get tired of being tagged, but here it is...
You're tagged!!!
1. Look at the picture closest to you. What do you see?
2.What does your mousepad look like?
3. Reach out your right arm. What do you touch?
4.Look out the window. What do you see?
5. Pick up the book nearest to you. Open to the 25th page and read the 7th line.
What is it about?
6. If you had a garden (or do) what would be/is planted?
7. Are you getting bored yet?
8. What is your favorite book over all books?
9. What career do you want to do when you grow up? Max 5.
10. What three people do you want to tag?
Have fun!!!

I am an Alias fan, too! Again, in the closet. My darling even got that HUGE cardboard stand-up Jennifer Garner from EB Games for our anniversary last year, but I was again too embarrassed to put it up. NOT very "proper" for my conservative friends... I'm noticing a pattern here... and YOU'RE bringing it to light! LOL! (((((HUGS))))) sandi
