Where In The World Is SuperAngel??

So can you guess where I went?? Take a wild guess.
I got to go visit Uncle Paul, Auntie, Paulie, Lukey, Beav, Jules, and Sus. Can you believe that?? I can't!! I am so excited still.
Ok want the story?? Of course you do. It's pretty detailed, 'cause I am pretty detailed. Sorry if this is long.
On Wednesday, my Mom had called my Great Grandparents to see how they were doing, and my Grandpa was there. He wanted to talk to Mom. Mom gets off the phone and goes, "Guess where your Grandpa's next trip is to??"
Me- "Tennessee."
Mom- "Yes, Knoxville."
Everyone- *EXCITED* Shouting, freaking out.
Mom- "So who wants to call him and ask him if they can go and see the Suarez's"
Me (first, of course)- " I DO!!"
(A little info: My Grandpa delivers motor homes across the country to RV places. So that is why he was going to TN)
We spent the next 20min talking about it and then we just went on doing what we were doing because we didn't know when he was going. We figured the next day or two. Well I get on the pc to blog, it being Wednesday, and leave about 3 comments when Mom comes in and says, "Ok, so who really wants to go to TN. Your grandpa is on his way there now." Immediately I said I wanted to go. So we emailed Auntie to see if we could stop in and then I called Grandpa to see if we could go with him. Well of course we could. Jocelyn and I spent the next hour getting stuff ready to go. I think that was the shortest time it has ever taken me to get ready to go on a 2 day trip. lol.
We get everything loaded in the van and headed to wal-mart to meet Grandpa. We picked up a few snacks. I got Auntie some protein bars and made sure I got some oreos too. Then we set out on our way, it was about 6pm. And freezing too.
Jocelyn fell asleep within 10min of driving and slept the whole rest of the way til we stopped. While I kept Grandpa company and helped navigate.
We hit Richmond, IN, and got some Taco Bell and gas. We then got stuck in traffic because there was an accident. A really bad one. We were waiting for an hour. When they finally got everything cleaned up, we saw the cars that had been in the accident and the fronts were completely off. I wonder if anyone survived.
We were on our way again, and made up some ground. By 2am we were in Kentucky. We stopped at a gas station and stayed the rest of the nite. We slept in the motor home and I was freezing still.
We got up around 7:30am and set out. We were only about 1 1/2 from Knoxville. Jocelyn fell back asleep on the way there, and I dozed off and on.
We got to Knoxville around 9am, and stopped in a parking lot to get everything out of the unit and into Grandpa's suv. Then we went to the rv place and took care of dropping off the unit for about an hour.
We got a bite to eat at Shoney's and I called Uncle Paul to get directions to their house. We left the restaurant around 11am, and started toward Johnson City.
We made it there within 1 1/2. Auntie wasn't home yet from her Dr's. appointment, so we went to CVS to get some things.
We then went to the Suarez's house around 1pm. Julia was first to greet us as she was sitting on the mailbox. Then Levi came out and Paulie and Lukey.
We went in and got acquainted, not that we needed to or anything and talked for a little bit. Well actually we had to get acquainted with Scooter. He was barking at us at first, but then was fine when we petted him and played with him.

He was so funny. His little paws look like muscle paws. It was so funny.
We waited for Auntie and Uncle Paul for an hour or so, then we decided to go watch these really neat videos Paulie had found. Then Paulie decided we needed to go out and try some of the moves we had seen. ok...
They showed us their moves, and then thought Jocelyn and I should jump up the wall. Uh... no thank you. You can do alot in a skirt, but that was not something I was going to attempt to do in one. But Jocelyn, being the competitive, athletic girl that she is, decided she was going to jump the wall skirt or not. She did a pretty good job of it too. After doing that for about an hour, we came in cause the boys were starving. But we were waiting til Auntie and Uncle Paul got back to eat. They called and told us they were almost home and to get some onions cut. Well those boys CANNOT cut onions. Levi went to go get a pair of swimming goggles, so he could cut them. Jocelyn and I made them let us cut them. Paulie, Lukey, and Beav were all tearing up as I was cutting the onions. lo. It was pretty funny.
Auntie and Uncle Paul got there around 4pm and we were SO excited to see them. Ran up and gave them both big hugs and was just so happy to see them. Auntie told us great news about little Sus and she looked great too. It was so relieving to hear everything was great and normal.
Then it was time to get the cooking going. We helped put some groceries away, then Auntie booted us out of the kitchen. We went upstairs and had to be tortured through “King of the Bongo” and “Where is the Balogna/Baloney“. Let me tell you: IT WAS TORTURE!! Those are THE dumbest videos I have ever seen. Especially the baloney one. That one is freaky. I guess if I had to choose which one I liked more it would have to be King of the Bongo, cause I hate the baloney song. That is just plain scary. Sorry Eric, you are weirdy.
EDIT:
Ok, so instead of going to those dumb videos, check out these really cool ones.
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/taters.php
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/hobbits
And also head over to Paulie's blog and see how a geek can get hacked!! LOL!!
Go watch them both and tell me which one is better.
So after watching those and debating with Eric which one was best we were called down for dinner.
We had a glorious meal of spaghetti with garlic bread, Auntie's awesome corn dish, fried cabbage, and carmelized (burnt) carrots. It was so good. Mr. Marcum joined us too.
After dinner, we went back upstairs til desert was ready. We just hung out for awhile. Paulie showed us how well he could play the guitar. Impressive actually. He even made up his own song. Actually Levi and Lukey played for us too. Julia played the piano too. We checked blogs, email, they watched those videos again. I was seriously getting a headache from them. ahh...

Paulie was going to make me delete it, but it is so funny.
"What are you thinking about, Paulie??" LOL!!

Jocelyn the beauty!!

Where you most always find Paulie, at his computer. Actually he was explaining to me how to set a website up.

Julia was showing us her very impressive piano skills.

Joc is showing Levi her gazillion comments she gets when she posts.

Lukey playing chess.
Then desert was finally done. It was coconut cream pie. It was really good, especially with coffee.
We went back upstairs again while Uncle Paul, Grandpa and Auntie all sat downstairs and talked.
Jocelyn blogged, and Paulie was on the phone with Eric. I was trying to get some pictures, but no one wanted me to take some, so I had to sneakily get some. It was about 10pm by now, and Grandpa wanted to go to bed, so we all piled downstairs, while Auntie and Uncle Paul and Lukey went to get some things for breakfast.
Auntie, Uncle Paul and Lukey got back and we decided to play cards. Joc and I taught them how to play rummy. It was going great til Paulie dealt and I lost all my points and he gained the lead. Everyone else was in the negative.

This was before Paulie and Joc started cheating. I think Paulie won this hand. Guess concentration is the key??

Julia's hand of rummy
We were almost done and then Joc and Paulie were looking at each other's cards and giving each other what they needed. They were cheating. Who would have thought that Miss Jocelyn and Paulie the Awesome would cheat at cards?? I was so disappointed, ok not really. But we quit the game due to their cheating ways. I will not ever play with them again. Ha.
After that we decided to go to bed. It was about 12:30am anyway and we were leaving at 5:30am, so we all went to bed. Julia was sweet enough to let Joc and I share her bed while she made a little tent in the closet.
Julia, your bed was so comfortable. Thank you for letting me sleep in it.
Got up to Uncle Paul cutting up peppers and tomatoes. But when I looked at their clocks it said 2:45am, so I was thinking he is up way too early, and I went back to bed. Well about 5min later I hear Grandpa is up and I remembered their clock was wrong. So I hop out of bed and get ready to leave. Then I went out to help Uncle Paul. Paulie, Beav, and Julia all woke up to see us off. We ate a delicious breakfast called tortilla omelet. I am not an egg person, but will eat them if they don't taste like eggs. Then we cleaned the table off and got everything loaded. Gave Uncle Paul a hug and told everyone else good bye. Then we went outside and had a nice discussion about the stars. It was really clear out.
Finally, it was time we left. So Uncle Paul led us out to the highway and we started home. Guess what happened when we left and got on the highway?? The King of the Bongo filled my head and stayed there all day. It was so annoying. As a matter of fact I was still singing it as I was typing this up last nite. Thanks Paulie. NOT!! At least its not that baloney song, ‘cause I probably would have gone crazy if it had been.
But I finally fell asleep and slept til about 9am. Then I sat up and kept Grandpa company and watched the scenery. Jocelyn slept til about 1:30pm. We were making really good time. Then we got on 75 and there was a really bad accident. Traffic was backed up a good mile or so. So we took a detour. Stopped a couple of times for gas and snacks and made it home by 3pm.
We had to go work at Mr. Schenck's and then came home and rested. I got this cute picture of Lucy.

Look how big she is getting. And more beautiful each day.
I feel so blessed that God allowed us that opportunity to go and see them. It was a special and wonderful time that we spent with them.
Thank you Uncle Paul, Auntie, Paulie, Lukey, Beav, Julia and Sus for letting us come and spent time with you.
God is so awesome!!
P.S. Be looking for a special announcement coming about my Superbash.
As Always,

I was just stopping by your blog and thought I would leave you a comment. I am blog-friends with your sisters, Jocelyn and Rachel. The part in your post about the onions was very funny. Do you cry when you cut onions? For me, it depends on the onion. Some are stronger than others. You have a nice blog, even though I am not a big Superman fan. I watched the old original, and it wasn't my favorite. I don't know why, I just didn't care for it as much as some other movies. Well, drop by anytime!

Eesh... cutting onions. Goggles are a very good idea! I can be on the *other side* of our kitchen while Mama's cutting onions, and my eyes start watering and getting all itchy. Ugh. And if I'm right next to the onions? It'll take me 15 or so minutes to recover. LOL So when I cut onions, I either stick 'em in the freezer for a bit first, or I cut them underwater.
Very cute picture of Lucy! :-D

A Magnificent Time

We had a really cool Tuesday... well except for the part of "OH The Pain" in which I am still in pain from.
But guess what?? We met yet another blogging friend. Wanna take a guess who it is??
...
...
...
Who did you guess?? Tell me in your comment!! Ok... we met.....
Eric the Magnificent. It was really fun. They got here around 9pm, cause they had gotten lost due to google maps. Anyway, it was really neat to actually meet him in person. We have talked on IM, and the phone, but it is so cool to actually meet a friend in person.
We got acquainted, not that that was neccessary, but still. Mr. Novak came too. He is really funny!! We got to hear many stories too.
Caleb and Isaac totally thought it was fun to climb "Jungle Gym Eric". Eric is 6'4", so he was pretty tall to them and me. LOL!! So after about 30min of them climbing all over him, we took Eric to see our animals. He thought my horse was nice. HA!! I don't think so.
Then we came back to the house where he showed us some pictures he took on their drive here from KY, where they had been house hunting. After looking at some pictures, Eric, my brother, had to hear the Coonikins song. Oh man, that was funny!! You have to go see the video, but it was so much funnier in person. LOL!!
Then we went out to the living room, where we got to hear all kinds of stories from Mr. Novak. That was fun!! Eric read many books to Caleb and Isaac. How nice of him. We had a really nice time with them, but it was getting kinda late, so they had to leave to go home. They left around 12am.
We had so much fun with Eric. He really is a neat guy!! We did take pictures, but I don't have them uploaded and ready for this post, but I will probably put some on later.
Hopefully we will see him and the rest of the family if they can come down for my birthday bash. That will be so much fun... btw... did you hear?? I am having a SUPER bash and you are invited. Check out the SUPER post to see details!!
I hope you can make it!! Oh yes... in honor of my birthday.... be looking for a SUPER contest that will be ensuing shortly!!

Sorry can't make it for the birthday bash, with school. I pray anf hope all goes well with the birthday. Jeremiah 31:13-- Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

It sounded like you had a great time with "Eric the jungle gym" it is probably really fun to meet someone you know digitally. Have you ever heard the song “Online†by Brad Paisley? If not you have find a way to hear it, you will laugh your head off.
Ouch, ouch, ouch that looks excruciatingly painful. Man, Dulcy sure wanted to stay with Estrella. That is a little a strange, because horses don't bite much, they mostly kick! Though, if they do bite don't hit them! Then it will just become a big game to them, to bite and then dodge the blow! I hate to say this but the only reason Dulcy bites you is because he doesn't have enough respect for you!
Well after being longwinded!!!! Keep Rawking for Jesus!!!!

What An Awesome Surprise!!
Published on August 26, 2007 at 3:42 PM
This Article was published in HSB Friends, News and FUN Stuff
You know, I *hate* surprises. But some surprises surpass all your imagination. I got one of the loveliest surprises yesterday!!
The very beautifully sweet Brielle, who we met last month, sent us all presents!! She is the sweetest thing!! She is just too great!!
She sent Jocelyn, Rachel, Hannie, Lucy and I all these handmade beauties. They are soooo very awesome and lovely and sweet. Each one was made with love and care for each person. She made each of us very "us" gifts. They were totally what we each wanted and liked.
So wanta know what I got?? A MAKE-UP CASE!! "cause every girl can use one!!", right, Brielle??
How cool is this:
She made me a make-up case. How awesome is that?? It is so totally me too. She sewed a Superman symbol on the front and it's jean. I love jean.
I am just too excited about it. WOW!! I absolutely *LOVE* it!! I can't say how much I really do.
Although today, I have come the a really cool idea. Since I already have this make-up case:
that Jocelyn made for Christmas, I am going to use Brielle's as a clutch. It is the perfect size for my wallet, checkbook, lip color, a pen, keys, and my leather and stick hairpeice (which I adore). The clutch works perfectly!! I have been wanting a small purse to use as I don't have that much stuff anyway to put in it, and Brielle made just the thing.
I am really excited!! I am just thrilled that Brielle made it. She is a wonderful seamstress. I have seen quite a bit of her handywork, and all I can say is WOW!! I wish I was half the seamstress she is and then I would even be good. That is how good she is.
She is so creative too. Look at this card she made me:
It's really cute!!
And she even sent me a little comic that is so totally hilarious!!
Anyway, I think this was one of the best surprises I may have ever received.
I really love all of my blogging friends. They have turned out to be actual friends and I love all of them dearly!!
oh and please pray for me. My allergies have flared up. They are so annoying. I am praying they will be gone SOON!! I need to get back to breathing.
Also, I posted about some really great organic products at My Learning Experience.
As Always,
Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet"!!

I love pizza. LOL
Money's been tight around here for the past few months, especially with hospital bills and such for Mama, as well as quite a few birthdays. But we've been really good about not spending, and Mama and Daddy only go out once every 4 or 5 months, so the splurge wasn't too big. :-)

I hope you all are doing well. I've been extremely busy, and not on the computer much.

OOH!! Lookie, What I Got!!
Published on August 6, 2007 at 5:08 PM

Oh JOY!! Guess what I got in the mail a couple weeks ago?? I know, a couple weeks ago, I have tried to post this sooner, but just haven't been able to. ergh!!
Anyway, it was my very special "Bundled In Prayer" Afghan!! Made by our very own, QuietCajun. She did a BEAUTIFUL job. I just can't get over how pretty it is. It is so soft, bright, and warm. Definitely worth the price, I would have even paid more!!
Ok... so I am sure you all want to see pics, right?? LOL!!
Here is the story of my afghan:
I asked QuietCajun to make me one after I saw how beautiful Lucy’s was. Speaking of Lucy, She is now scooting. *mouth gapping* I cannot believe it. She is really squirmy too. She has been trying to crawl out of my arms. Sheesh... she will be 4 months on the 7th. *mouth gapping again*. Oh boy. Time flies!!
Ok... back to my story...QuietCajun had down a great job on Lucy's and it was so cute. SO I HAD to have one too. I told her what colors, and she picked the really neat design. It only took her about a week to make it, so not bad, huh?? She posted some pics of her making it and I was soo excited and impatient to get it. It was so pretty. 2 weeks ago, she mailed it. I had been checking the mail ever since. Then Wednesday about a week and half ago, I got a box!!
(QC- I am so estatic, but I do not show emotions well, so I don't look it. Sorry. lol!! Just know that I was VERY happy and overjoyed and excited and any other adjectives I have missed. I really do love it!!)

Opening the box

Taking it out of the box

Taking it out of the protect bag

EXCITEMENT!! Look how pretty it is!!
WOW!! It's so beautiful... and BIG!!

Here is QC's signature, a Heart in the corner. It is a really goodheart too.

Here I am folding it up. It looks cool from that angle.

Here is another shot of it.
I am just overjoyed about it. It is so me!! QuietCajun did a GREAT job on it. I have used it every nite since I got it. It is warm, but not too warm for the summer nites here. The colors she found for it are so cool. They are just my style and it goes with some of my decor.
Ok... Here is a little promo for her new business: Bundled in Prayer is hand-crafted, custom afghans, at an affordable price. Each afghan is made with prayers for you. Beautiful work. Very detailed craftsmanship. High quality. Very personal. I would recommend buying from BIP. It is a great opportunity to be blessed and bless others.
I am so happy I went ahead and ordered it. It is truly one of a kind.
Thank you, QuietCajun, so very much!! I absolutely LOVE it!!
P.S. I must tell you that I am NOT that usually hurtful to myself as I was last week. I don’t know what my problem was. LOL!! But you will happy to know that both Caleb and I are now healed!! Thanks for your prayers.
As Always...

Homeschooling... It's so fun!!
Published on July 23, 2007 at 8:20 PM
This Article was published in HSB Friends, News and FUN Stuff
Homeschooling is so awesome, because you don’t have to be on a rigid schedule as you would if you were going to public school. I had a friend who was usually sleeping by 9pm during the school year, because she had to get up so early to go to school and then school just wore her out. She didn’t do any extra-curricular activities either. But she was very tired just from going to school. That is sad. She just graduated this year and she is so happy to not have to go to public school again. She always wished she could have been homeschooled like I was.
Homeschooling gives us opportunities that most people do not have. We have time on our side. It may seem like we don’t have enough time in the day, but if we really think about it, we are using our time investing in our children. We are not being idle with the time God has given us.
Mom and I were just talking yesterday about being on mountain time. LOL!! Our schedule is like we are on mountain time. We don’t usually go to bed til really late, but if we use mountain time its not as late. When we move out west, it won’t be a problem to change time zones for us.
I love being homeschooled. I did not always feel that way. But I know this is what I need to be doing and this is what I will be doing with my own children. I have even started thinking of how I will be homeschooling them, what I will use to homeschool them, and just things that I want to remember to do when I do homeschool. I want to make learning a great experience for my children. I want them to love to learn everything. There are things I love about school that I want to remember for my children.
I am going to start making a binder of what I want to do in my homeschool. What books I want to use, how I want to approach which subjects, what were some of the fun things I did in my schooling that I didn’t know were actually school. Like meeting bloggers.
It's so FUN to meet bloggers in real life. Those who you have come to know and love so much from learning about them on their blogs. We have been truly blessed with meeting so many bloggers that are like-minded with us. It is so great getting to meet the people you have come to know online in person. We just become to attached to them as bloggers, and then we meet them in real life and its like we have known each other for years. Whenever I have met a blogger in real life, there is no weirdness, because I already know them.
When we first met Uncle Paul, Auntie, Paulie, Luke, Levi, and Julia, it was so neat, cause Auntie came over and knew us immediately and was like, "this is Jacque, this is SuperAngel, and this is Jocelyn." She knew us because of the blogs. It was like we had been friends since the beginning. It was so neat. Then when we met Paulie, and Luke, and Levi, it was so natural. We just started talking about everything. It was so funny, cause I knew who they all were, but I had to tell them who I was, and then I said Superman, and they were like "OOH, you are the one with the Superman blog." Then they knew who I was. It was funny. But we totally just got to know each other in that little time at their speaking event. It was so great. We were so sad when it was over and we had to leave. But it was ok, cause we would see each other in a couple weeks in TN for the Barn dance. That was fun. And just like when we met them in IN, we just talked the whole time we were in TN. It is so nice having friends who agree with your beliefs.
It is just amazing to me that we have met so many great people we know from blogging in real life. I LOVE IT!!
So speaking of meeting bloggers…Thursday, guess who we got to meet?? Own seamstress... Miss Brielle. She is the one who made our lovely Pride and Prejudice dresses for the Birthday Bash last Feb.
She is so sweet. When I saw her, I just knew her. I had actually never seen her before. She saw me and came over. It was really neat.
We met her at Yoder's department store in Shipshewana. It is an amish store. Actually Shipshewana is one of the biggest Amish communities. It was pretty neat to get to go up there. I have been around amish all my life, but this was new. I had never been to Shipshewana before. It was pretty cool. Nice and homey. We saw lots of buggies with horse. The horses were so pretty.
Well we all got acquainted and then Brielle took us over to the fabric section. I had Isaac and he wanted to look all over, so I wasn’t with them the whole time, but we still caught up with them somewhere around the store. We looked at Prairie bonnets, which Brielle can make, and other things just around. Isaac and I found the Crocs. They are soo cool. They have Croc flip flops, and even designer sandals with about 2in heels. They are really expensive though. WOW!!
We found some Poor Boy Hats, but none as AWESOME as Paulie’s. Then we went to find Mom and Dad. They were getting some fruit for the Littles. We sat out in the hallway of Yoder’s, and talked about the $900 quilt they had for sale out there!! $900... that is like a laptop. Whoa!! It was really pretty though.
Then we ‘stole’ Brielle for awhile. Her grandma and other family wanted to go look at some other shops and we went to this little diner restaurant across the road. Luckily our 15 passenger van had the one extra seat. (we took the last bench out.) So we went over there and order some cheeseburgers, fries, and chicken baskets, and had a GREAT time visiting. Then we got some ice cream sandwiches and left.
I have some pictures for you all!! YAY!!
BTW-I was the photographer for this visit.
We finished and headed back toward Yoder’s for a photo op. Here are some of the photos we got:

This all of us.
Amanda Squared!! How cool is that?? We are both named Amanda. It was funny 'cause any time anyone said "Amanda", we both looked up.

This is all of the GIRLS!!
I look weird in these pics because I am squinting. I don't like them. LOL!!
We had to go into the pavilion, so we could see and not have to squint. LOL!!
Then we had to say goodbye to Brielle. It was so neat meeting her. She is just what I thought she would be. Sweet, gentle, loving, cool... you get the picture!!
Here is Caleb... sharing his Black Eyed Susan he found. Aww.. thanks, Cabe!!
And last but DEFINITELY not least, LUCY in her seat as we were leaving.
She is the CUTEST thing!!
Speaking of AWESOME friends... did you see the really cool Superman I got on here now?? SuperTux... How hysterical is that?? LOL!! Paulie found it for me!! LOL!! I thought they were so cool, I just had to use them!!
Make sure to get your "A Tribute to my Dad" submission in. I am so excited about this contest!!
Today was Isaac’s 4th birthday. WOW!! I can’t believe it. Time flies before our eyes. Of course, I was looking at my calendar and last Wednesday was 100 days til my 18 birthday. Mom is mad. LOL!! He had a good day. We are just going to eat dinner and cake and presents. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISAAC!!
Ok... I so wish I could meet all my blog friends!! That would be
AWESOME!! I do hope that I will get to meet more. I have a few that I want to meet soo bad!!
You are all so special to me. Thank you all for being my friends!!
As Always...
Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet"!!
©AmandaDixon2007
P.S. Ok... you got it!! I took the greeting off my blog because of two reasons. 1. Paulie gave me the code in the first place and he took his off, so why would I leave mine on, if he took his off?? and 2. because my good friends, Mandy, Brooke and Britta, and of course, Jocelyn asked me to.
So you are ‘greeting’ free!! Happy?? LOL!!

Hmm, I need to start thinking about homeschooling stuff. I don't plan on getting married or having kids for at least a couple more years but it would be good not to go into it blindly.
Thank you for taking the pop-off off! And the Super Penguin is sooo adorable!

Thanks so much for the encouraging comment, Amanda :-)
Great post!!! Homeschooling is such a blessing, and I want to homeschool my own children some day as well.
The lady I babysit for is going to homeschool her kids this year, but her parents are discouraging her and telling her she she put them in public school instead. I told her she shouldn't let anyone discourage her because homeschooling is such a blessing!!!!! God has greatly blessed us that we are able to.
I think it's awesome you have got to meet so many bloggers! Now I'm next ;-) LOL!
Oh, and thanks for taking the pop up off ;-)
Have a great day!!
Luv, Brooke

Hey Amanda!
Great post! I love being homschooled and not having to be tied down to a certain schedule. Thats a good idea that you are already planning ahead for what you are going to be doing with your kids in thier school. That way you'll be prepared when you start.
Great pictures! Thats neat that you got to meet Brielle!

Happy Birthday Isaac!
I'm glad that you're planning on homeschooling. I wish I had been homeschooled-- but my family had never heard of such a thing! (as in... people do that? what is it? huh???)
I was always tired during the school year. I was at school by 7am for my zero hour class and then there would be after-school activities/mtg, weekend competitions, and of course homework! Up until at least midnight and always always busy with busywork. *sigh* I don't miss a single second of it!
I hope you have a very relaxing weekend, my friend. And yes, Lucy is ADORABLE!

I'm sorry I haven't been by in awhile. This summer has absolutely flown by and been very busy (which is probably why it seemed to fly)!!
Good post. I've been thinking more lately about homeschooling my children, too... about how I would want to go about it. Writing down ideas in a notebook is a good idea.
I just updated my blog tonight so come by when you have a chance. Hope you have a great week!

I don't know how public school kids stand school! I can't imagine being stuck behind a desk all day! learning is supposed to be fun.
Some of the people who homeschool also have to wrong ideas though, they try to make their kids sit at a table all day. I think that life is learning, not sitting around doing math.
I posted some new blogs, come check em' out.

I think that was my bonnet. LOL!! She is just too cute, huh?? You should come see how big she is getting. She loves to sit in her jumpy jumpy. She can reach the floor now too. YIKES!!
I can't wait to see Sus!! I bet she will be just as adorable as Luc. You only have, what, 5 months?? WOW!! The time sure has gone by fast. I don't think you probably look like a barn. At least no barn I have seen. LOL!!
Miss you and am praying for you all. Love you!!

How are all of you doing? We are all getting over a cold, but other than that we are doing pretty good.
Did you see that Rachel is my featured blogger now? She happened to be the one to give me my 700th comment. :)
How is your garden coming along? Our garden is doing good. We have TONS of zuchinni (sp?) and summer squash growing. We also have lots of tomatoes and green peppers growing. And then the things like watermelon, broccoli, cantalope, onions, lettuce, green beans, carrots , and corn are still growing. Since we planted them late, those things are a little behind.
