****I will be posting an new entry on Sat. My blogging schedule has changed.****
WOWSERS!! We had ANOTHER great time with the Suarez's!! This monthly trip plan is really GREAT!! LOL!!
There are a bunch of pics, so wait for it to load all the way. And click on the pics for bigger ones.
We did alot more actual things instead of standing around just talking. Although we did just talk.
They got here around 8pm. Auntie grabbed Lucy as soon as they got in the house. Then Mr. S, Paulie, and Julia all gathered around and wondered at how big she was.

Paulie, Luke, Levi, Eric, Isaac and Caleb all played ball outside. Then we came in and made some snacks, and did pretty much nothing but talk. Then we ate some really good chicken pot pie sort of thing that Mom made. I cleaned up the kitchen while Paulie stood there and kept me company. Joc was waiting for Eric to call so we could have a business meeting. So while Paulie and I were in the kitchen, Eric called and was on speaker phone.

I was making cookies while we were all standing there. For some STRANGE reason, Paulie likes white chocolate.... eeww!! So I made a special batch of those, and then Levi wanted just chocolate with no nuts, so I made another special batch. Then I just made chocolate chip and walnut cookies for everyone else. That was started about 12am. So it took about an hour and half to make all the cookies, all the while trying to talk to Eric on speaker phone. Then when I was almost done with the cookies, I finally got an actual phone to talk on... but by that time we were almost done, and it was like 2:30am. So Eric said bye to everyone, and then Mom, Paulie, Joc and I all talked about Geocentric vs. Heliocentric, and other things like that. We then saw the clock and it said 3am. So we decided it was time for bed.
We used up the rest of Mom's cell battery and Dad's battery, and then Paulie lost his signal. SO we had to get offline and use the home phone to call Eric back. It was really funny. We ran out of phones after that.
I got up yesterday, and made some pancake batter. I had Rachel cook the pancakes, cause they didn’t want deep fried pancakes. LOL!! I put butter in the pan so they wouldn’t stick, and apparently I put too much, so Rach took over. I then made eggs and turkey bacon. While Paulie and Levi watched... I did ask them if they wanted to cook, but they declined cause they thought I was kidding...
So we ate on the porch, and then Hannah and Julia wanted to go berry picking. SO we took a journey through the cornfield. It was really high too. Like taller than Paulie high. It was like Eric high or something. It was really tall and it kept smacking us in the face to we put our arms in front of us. We felt like Frodo and Sam as they are leaving the Shire to set out for Rivendell. LOL!!
So it took about 3min to get to the berries, and we hit the clearing. While Julia and Hannah were picking, Paulie started serenading us with some real grass music. He actually took a piece of grass and made it sing or whistle or something. It was really funny!! Then he started playing it with just his hands... so we laughed really hard for like 10min. Then we went to find the girls... we thought we lost them. We found them and then Paulie used corn leaves to make music. So he is blowing like crazy. I don’t know how many times he said he was dizzy, but he didn’t stop. We thought he was gonna pass out. Then Levi, Rachel, and Eric came, and Paulie had to teach Eric how to play the grass instrument. Eric then said they should play the Narnia tune... So Paulie got his orchestra of Julia, Eric and Levi to try to play this diddy. LOL!! It was hysterical. Paulie was turning blue. JK!! Then our 20min berry picking trip had to come an end and it was time to head home. We took the road and not the cornfield this time.
Ok I am now going to talk about Paulie's Authentic Poor Boy Hat from Ireland. Jocelyn really likes Europe, so she really, really likes Paulie's hat since he got it when he went to Europe last year. It came straight from an Irish shop in Ireland. She tried to hide it, she wore it, she wouldn't let it go. It was like attached to her head. She had been wearing it since last nite, so when we went to the cornfield I took it to wear it. After that is was like, everyone tried to get it away from me to give to her. I had to protect myself. I about lost my head over it too... It was crazy. Paulie said he was just going to buy a bulk order straight from Ireland. LOL!! Anyway, it was really funny.
We came home and were out in the yard and then Joc went in and got the worship music to sing. It was really neat. We had our own little concert. We kinda talked for awhile when we were done, and then Eric wanted to throw Paulie’s knife.
Now this is an interesting story. I went over to watch and Paulie wanted me to try. I was like, “I want to keep my dignity, thanks.” Cause I knew there was no way I could throw a knife and hit a target. But he was very persuasive, so I decided ok, I would give it a try, even if I looked really stupid doing it. I am really glad I did. It is so cool.
My tutorial from the Instructor. Here is how you throw a knife: (if I missed any steps, tell me Paulie) -You have to put your left foot in front (sounds like the hokey pokey), then hold the tip of the knife, and when you step forward you have throw your body into it, and release the knife.- Easy, right?? Uhh... right...

That was his example... Really good one too. Can I do it?? What do you think??

“Are you sure you want me to do this??” (asks self) “are you sure you want to do this??”
My first throw was a total (cough) miss (cough), I mean hit!! Sorry no pic of my missing... darn, I know.
Then the Instructor had to show us how to do it, so we could actually hit it.

WOW!! That was like really deep. He definitely is the knife throwing master!!

This was EVEN deeper. Holy Horse!!
My next throw was ALOT better. I actually hit the tree. I was amazed.

I am so getting good at this.

Paulie thought this was funny...

Joc and I kept using his hat for photo props. So he got a pic of me putting it on... crazy guy.
Ok... I am ready to try this again...

Setting myself...

Throwing....
And... this is where it stuck in the tree...

WHOA... is that crazy or what?? I can now throw a knife and actually hit it. LOL!!
Now... taking a break from knife throwing lessons... we put the goats out in the pen to eat all the weeds, yum yum.

Here I am trying to get the doelings away from the maple tree... with a frisbee. Yep, that is my tool to get them away. Spiffy, huh??

We are almost to the pen...

We are getting ready to move the pen... as soon as Luke gives Heidi to someone else.

Oh... Look at us go...

Paulie and I getting the doelings from escaping into the cornfield... that would have been bad.

Go on little goat
Ok... so now back to our knife throwing lesson... It was really fun!! We all wanted to go do it more.
Here I am gonna take another whack at it, er, throw at it, I mean.

Yep, I am getting good at this.

So that concludes the lesson. I really had a really fun time. I am so glad I tried it and even though I looked like a moron in the beginning... I finally was able to hit the tree enough that it didn’t count anyway.
Here is some videos Paulie took... I had NO idea he did... They are pretty funny though!!
Yeah, well I have just found out that I pulled something in my left calf in my leg, cause I am like REALLY sore. I definitely pulled a muscle. But it was really worth the sore leg, to be able to say that I can actually throw a knife and hit a target. Oh yeah, I am so proud!! LOL!!
After that, we went in and I showed Paulie some of my drawings. Of which I am also going to show you. Mom posted a really horrible one last week, and hopefully has posted more that it isn’t on the front of her blog. So in order to redeem my drawing skills here is a pic of my favorite picture to draw.

This is my original work. I actually made this picture myself. I use it for all my drawings that I give out. Its about the only thing I can draw. LOL!! Cause I have drawn it so many times.
I actually gave a copy to Auntie, and she asked me if she could just use it in an art gallery at HomeschoolHeadquarters. "Uhh... sure, I guess. I don't think its worth being put in an art gallery, but hey." That is really cool.
Then Paulie was inspired and decided to draw some pics of Tux. They sorta looked like Tux, but weren’t as animated as Tux is.
Then we UPLOADED, that is right, right Paulie?? Uploaded the pics from his camera to our computer instead of having to resize and email them... that would take forever!!
So that is why I am able to post these pics. Thanks, Paulie!!
We then talked a little more and prayed and they left.
We came in and noticed that Luke had left his beloved, signed, very important chess game here. Luckily they were only down the road and we met them at the gas station and gave it to them.
Then we come home, and found out that Luke also left his suitcase here. YIKES!! So they came back to pick it up. LOL!! They also bought Lucy the cutest dresses and bibs!! And also a jumpy seat. Of which we don't have. So THANK YOU!!
But I am so happy that they were able to come, and we had a truly wonderful time!!
Also I have even more exciting news... Mr. S and Paulie are coming back in two weeks to help us with our addition!! That is just a godsend. Hopefully we can get alot done and maybe move in there soon!! Since its been 5years since we started it. WHOA!! And we sure hope that Eric and his dad can come too.
So I had a wonderful weekend. I am thankful that we now have friends!! They are really a great family!!
As Always...

Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet"!!

Wow, it sounds like you had a fun time! Cool pics. Yeah, knife throwing can be hard, but it is cool. :) Thanks for stopping by, I will be posting about our ---Last Minute--- trip to CA on my next post. The drive up didn't turn out to well, because our tire blew out...I will tell everything that happened. But overall, it actually turned out pretty well, despite the consequences.
Thanks again,

Throwing a knife sounds like fun, once you learn. I don't think I would be talked into it TRYING it easily though. LOL! You did pretty well though.
Gunnar is four months old. He is very active and Mom thinks he will probably crawl and walk early. He has started using his hands a little and he coos some.

Congratulations are in order... and a new group on Blogland!!
Published on June 13, 2007 at 6:57 PM
This Article was published in HSB Friends, News and FUN Stuff
Before I get to the post, I *have* to send a HUMONGOUS CONGRATULATIONS to all of the Suarez's!! They are expecting #5 on Dec. 15.
I am soo thrilled for them all. Paulie, Luke, Levi can't wait to be big brothers and Julia can't wait to be a big sister. OOH!! The Joy!! Do you know how hard it is to keep a secret like that for 2months?? Really hard. LOL!!
In honor of their news... I thought I would share a pic of Lucy for you all. Now, she can have a playmate!!
Here is our 2 month old, LucyLillie:
Look at that contagious smile!! She is adorable!!
HOLY HORSE!! How time flies!!
And... here is one of Caleb, just cause he is soo CUTE!! and SWEET!!
I am starting a new group on blogland:
Super Secret Angels

Please email for banner code!!
How I thought to start this: I was on a good friend’s blog, and saw the cutest thing: Secret Sisters bloggers. How neat!! I have always thought that was the neatest idea. My mom used to run something like that at church. SO anyway, I went to join and found out that you have to be a mom to do it. BLAST!!
So I (along with my other GEN-IUS’) decided to start my own. Yep, I am going to start Super Secret Angels for young women.
What you need to do: I need whoever wants to be a part of this, to send me your name, address, birthday month, interests, favorite things, and anything else you would want your SSA to know. Then I will pick who would go well together, and give them your info, and then we can start.
What you will need to do:
Pray for your SSA
Leave them a "from your SSA" comment once a week.
Send them letters, notes, cards, or little gifts that encourage them and their walk.
Anything... but nothing to let them know who you are.
The ages for this are going to be: 12 and up. Email for exceptions.
My Magnificent friend made the really great banner for it. Isn't it just too pretty??
OK... so lets get this started. You can send your "submissions" to mjdixon@kconline.com
Ooh... I am so excited to get this started!! I can’t wait to see how happy everyone is when they get their SSA!!
PLEASE NOTE:
I reserve the right to refuse any submissions if I feel it may disrupt the group for any reason.
EDIT: The Super Secret Angels session #1 is now closed. I will run this session til October 7th. All submissions sent in now, will be held over til the next session starts. You can send submissions anytime. I will start the next session November 7th.
Love...

Thanks for stopping by "Daily" at the "Planet"!!

Hey!
I saw my friend a few months ago. She looks really trashy. I suppose to the world she looks "good".... but I thought she looked totally immodest and impure!
I tried Jane Eyre..... and I have to agree with you. It's so dreary. Didn't Charlotte Bronte have any happiness in her life to draw from? My goodness. I had to literally force myself through the first page. And the next. And the next. And then I gave up and read something much happier instead. :-)
The new group sounds nice! Very good idea. :-)
Thanks for the comment! :-)
Hugs,
Becca

Paulie? I don't make friends with geeks! JK, not to sure why he's not on my friends list, it never crossed my mind!
I don't look anything like Peter, I don't think anyone can imagine me in that part! Around 2030, when they come out with the last battle, I think I'll be in that one. =D
Glad I didn't steal the name, but don't people get arrested for taking stolen property? JK, lol...
I am not trying to pass you, I don't think "man I've got to pass SA today" I'm just blogging! We already talked about the spoiled thing!
Oh then you should move to AZ and not be in the farm zone of IN! =D
We already talked about the giant thing, the end!
I'm not sure what I'm thinking about, or have to think about... I have a bad memory for these comments!
I agree this is long enough!

I passed my test! Uh-oh, aren't you glad you don't live near me now? It might be pretty scary for other drivers!

That is a really good idea!! But I have a question, do we have to send our real adresses or just our e-mail's? If it''s the land address then I'll have to see if my parents are ok with me giving my address out to a stranger.lol
She is so ADORABLE! Cute cute cute!!

Hello again! It has been ages since I've been onto your blog. I saw the group that you were making and I thought it sounded rather cute (I liked the icon also!). I am sorry to say that I cannot join because I am not aloud to give my family's email address or just the address. Is there a way we could just use the inbox on our blogs?

Cute pictures!! Paulie cracked up when he saw the one with Raspberry smiling. You know? I just realized at this VERY second that I am in need of some SERIOUS brownies. What do you think of that? I'm going to go find my keys, load the kids up in the van and buy two boxes and a carton of organic milk. We'll eat them in your honor as we think of you burning down your kitchen. OH the flames! heh heh

6.0 megapixels? That is amazing! My camera is 4.0 megs with 4x optical zoom (it will go up to 7.0 but that is very blurry!), Canon Powershot A430 screen size about one and a half inches. I have never seen a screen that is 3.0 inches long! Ever! Yes, that is Paul, isn't it? They are a GREAT family!

Paul and I where just talking about what he looked like with long hair, then he sent me a picture of him with his hat on! I told him that didn't work, I couldn't see his "three month grown hair" But he didn't have any other pictures. But you posted the contraband! Now I can see how long his hair is! Lol!

just because Paulie was so kind as to GIVE us a digital camera AND just because you have adopted the Suarez family does *not* mean that you only post pictures of them.... I know there were only 4 pics, but 1/2 of them were of Paulie, get it? I know, I know, you woulda' posted one of Auntie had you one to post... BUT, that still woulda' meant more S pics than D.
So, post some pictures of your other family (you know the one you LIVE with?). Eric did have a birthday the other day. We got a few good pics of then.
I'll say though, Paulie's hair *is* rather long, huh?
Other than that, congrats on passing your driver's test. Now, after 3 months, you can go to Dollar General with Jocelyn... unless they come up with some other law about driving with your siblings before that time.
I'm proud of you. You really surprised (ok, shocked) me when the horses came to you. I guess they like you after all, huh?
I think they actually consider you a sister and 'part of the herd', or E wouldn't have tried to kick you at all. Have you seen how Dulcy BITES at E? That's something to be proud of! You are a part of their herd... and now, you're going to sell them!! How mean!!!
Not really.
But, they do like you. Really.
Ok, this has become more of a novel than a comment, so I'm going to go. Of course, you can't read theis for awhile anyway, because you are at Mr. Schenck's. Of course...
( ;
Love you Dear!!!!

OK... I have not fallen off the face of the earth... I promise. I am going to be blogging like before.
The Suarez's just left. We had a great time!! They got in last nite around 8pm, which was so nice. We didn't have to go to bed right away like last time.
I was making dinner when they arrived. We had lasagna, green beans, zucchini, and homemade garlic bread. It was really good, til the bread caught on fire, and Auntie saved us all. She grabbed a towel and got that fire out. She was really worried. I was too busy killing mosquitoes and forgot the bread was broiling in the oven. OOPS!! I promise I do not normally burn food, Auntie.
Anyway, it turned out a great meal and we had great fellowship. I was lucky enough to be able to have Joc and Rachel clean up after dinner, since I had been in the kitchen all day.
Last nite was really special. Paulie the AWESOME, SURPRISED us all with a digital camera!! HOLY MOLY!! We were shocked. It was so nice of him to get us it. He told Auntie that he HAD to get us a camera b/c we were taking all our pics with our cell.
Its a Fujifilm FinePix F650. It has 6.0 Megapixels, 22x total zoom, 3.0inch LCD screen. The screen is huge!! I don’t think I have ever seen one that big. The flash is great. I took a pic last nite in the dim room and it looks really bright. It is SUCH a awesome camera!!
We were seriously shocked. I about fell on the floor. But that is Paulie for you. Always thinking of others.
THANK YOU PAULIE!!
Now we can get some GOOD pics for our blogs. Instead of the phone ones.
I got up this morning early and started on breakfast. We had french toast, home fries, turkey bacon, and eggs. Yum!! Then we cleaned up a bit and just talked for awhile.
We got to talk and spend time with Paulie, Luke, Levi, and Julia. It was so fun. I love talking to them all. The great part is that we are all so alike in many things, and there are endless things to talk about. We just have so much in common. The guys are so smart. It was nice being able to talk with them again.
Paulie did have anxiety over using our dialup computer... he was so impatient about pages loading. I guess we just got used to it.
Paulie is going to help me get a website. He had so much great advice about it. I am going to do a bunch of graphics and things. Blinkies, ecards, templates.
Luke and Eric played I don't know how many games of chess. And then they went outside for awhile and played. Rachel, Levi, Julia, Hannah, Isaac and Caleb played with them too.
The good news is that they are going to try to come back in July or so, and help us with our addition. How awesome is that?? God is good.
We had a wonderful time as always. I am glad God has brought them into our lives. They are such a great family and truly sincere. I am so thankful to God for allowing us to become great friends.
Be sure to check out the homeschool type post below. I submitted it to the Carnival of Homeschooling.
As you can see I have had a blog makeover. Chloe does a great job, huh?? I really like it.
Love,

The BBC DC movie is really good, but it's also really long - 180 minutes. Like Pride and Prejudice, you need an afternoon to watch it. :-)
It sounds like you had a great time with your guests. I'm so glad you got a digital camera! How nice! We'll be expecting lots of pics now. :-)

I am so excited!! Amber had a baby boy!! YAY!! CONGRATS AMBER!! and family!!
Guess what?? I won Amber’s Baby Pool!! I only guessed one thing wrong. That is so weird. I thought for sure that I wouldn’t win, but I did. Now I can get Self-Raised, the sequel to Ishmael. I am so happy!!
In other news… Smallville is over for now. I am sad that I have to wait til September for the next season. There is will be at least 2 more seasons, so that is good.
The season finale was so horrible. They killed people off, so I won’t know if they live or die til September. It is frustrating… I hate cliffhangers!!
But my GREAT friend, KateyZ is having her brother, who works for SMALLVILLE, get me a package of stuff from the set. How awesome is that?!?!
Go over to The Torch. Chloe is doing a new template for me. I love it. Still a few kinks to work out though.
Please pray for my great grandfather. He fell Thursday nite and broke his hip. He had surgery yesterday and is doing well. So could you pray for his health and his and my grandmother’s salvation??
The Suarez’s are coming AGAIN!! WOOHOO!! We are all so happy and can’t wait to see them. We are going to have a cookout and great time of fellowship.
SWEETNESS is 6 weeks old today!! I can't believe it. I was singing "lalala" to her and she was smiling and laughing. It was so sweet.
I can't believe Jocelyn hasn't blogged about this, but she got the LOTR soundtrack for her bday!! Yes, I got it for her. She was so happy!! She also got a LOTR pattern. We looked at Jo-Ann's when we went, but they didn't have it. I got it at Wal-Mart. I am so smart!!
Well I didn’t want to put this stuff on my other post, because I am going to enter the above post in the Carnival of Homeschooling.
Love...

Sounds like you guys have certainly been busy. Funny, Jocelyn got the LOTR soundtrack for her birthday. That's exciting, I was looking for that at the library the other day but they never have it. :( So I had to settle for Narnia instead. Hehe.
Wow, she's six weeks old already! Oh my goodness, she'll be married before we know it! :o
