I Pulled the Cat's Tail
Feb. 16, 2006 - Cub Scout Pinewood Derby
Last weekend I went to my Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Race. My design was a torpedo rocket. I raced my car four times, and it the numbers it got were first, first, first, third. Then at the end, I got a third place trophy and my friend, Mikey, in my den, won the whole thing--he won the whole pack. He got two trophies. Then there was this thing for other kids to race, but I didn't stay because it was really, really late. When I got home, I showed my trophy to everyone at home. Then when Mom got home, I showed her my trophy, and she said, "Wow, good job!" and she hugged me really, really tight, because she was so proud of me.
The end. |

Feb. 15, 2006 - My Pizza Sauce Story
A couple years ago, I went to a sleepover and the kid that had the sleepover, his name was Sam. And for dinner we had pizza, and I was sitting next to Sam. And when I was eating pizza, when I took a bite, pizza sauce fell on my arm. And then when I saw the pizza sauce, I yelled, "I'm bleeding, I'm bleeding, I'm bleeding!" And then Sam said, "Joshua, it's pizza sauce." And I'm like, "Oh, ok." And then I licked the pizza sauce off. The end.

Jan. 11, 2006 - My first blog
Hi, everybody. This is my first blog, and I am going to blog about Christmas. On Christmas, I got bug-eating plants. And on Christmas I got a robot claw. And I got a little Hot Wheel car track. And my Nana got to come for Christmas, and I went to church, and I heard somebody that worked there name a lamb a funny name. That person was pretending to be a shepherd, and he told us about baby Jesus. He said, "Guess what the sheep said?" And the other guy said, "Baaaaa." And the shepherd said, "No, she was tired." I learned that shepherds were known to be liars and being around the sheep got them very smelly and dirty, so people didn't trust them. He went and said, "You never know when angels might come."
But God told Mary and Joseph that they were going to have a baby. And they were going to have their baby in Bethlehem Going to Bethlehem, she had to ride on a donkey, and she had to ride on a donkey through Bethlehem, but there was nowhere for them to stay, but they were offered a stable that was really smelly. Finally her baby was born. Maybe Joseph ran in to the stable to see the baby. They placed baby Jesus in a manger that they used for the cow to eat out of. And they were praising the Lord about their new baby, Jesus. And Joseph said, He will be named Emmanuel, which is the language they spoke, the Son of God. |
