It's Amazing What a Little Sleep Can Do!

Guess what??!!??  I'm now a coherent person!!   Last weekend poor little Mr. Chunky Monkey went through baby boot camp.  The sweet little baby that once slept through the night had gotten back into the habit of waking up several times a night which made for one very exhausted mommy.  It all started when he was having ear infections again.  So, once we had tubes and I knew everything had healed properly, he kind of lost my sympathy.  Hence baby boot camp:

I picked a weekend so the big boys could crash out in the living room and hopefully sleep through whatever was about to happen.  Sure enough, Aden screamed like a banshee after we put him in his crib (after several attempts of rocking him and he just wouldn't settle down).  Thank goodness, it only lasted about 5 mins. and he was out like a light.  Evidently he's been overly tired too because he slept until 9 a.m.  WOOHOO!  So far he's done that every night since and I'm SOOOOO much happier.  I didn't realize how much sleep I was missing.

My house if fairly clean, I'm caught up on laundry, and all of our schoolwork is getting done.  I even went for a 40 min. walk today despite the fibromonster flare up I've been having.  Cool, huh?   Just pray I can keep up the momentum.  I'm also walking in the Race for the Cure on Saturday morning.

I hope  you're having a great week.

Hugs,

Amanda

Hi Amanda,
How nice to see you at my place this evening. There's nothing like a pastor's wife putting in a plug for the pastor, don't you think? A conflict of interests? lol.

I see this post is a bit dated. You must be one of those unusual women who has enough self-discipline to keep blogging from taking over her life. I'm not! Good for you, having bootie camp. What I don't understand is why more moms don't just do this because it's time, you know what I mean? I'm heartless. :o)
