I didn't blog on Thursday. One decidedly attractive feature to blogging is that one can excise the bad days...you know, edit one's life to make it appear more idyllic than it really is.
I've noticed the same thing about photoblogging, by the way. My life looks very good in pictures--so much better than reality that, in fact, I enjoy scrolling through the snapshots repeatedly. I think that's because most of the mess is cropped out. "Gee, the house doesn't look so dingy through the lens of the camera." I can focus on the good stuff that happens with the kids.
I didn't blog on Friday only because we were running around again. This time it was boys/dentist/grocery store. No homeschooling...again. But we did get nifty helium-filled balloons. You haven't seen grief until you have witnessed a child who has just let go of a helium-filled balloon outdoors. Thank goodness their little memories are short. And balloons are cheap. We made our shamrock cupcakes--well I made them. The kids were more occupied with playing. That was all the St. Patty's celebration I could fit in. We told Daddy the legend of St. Patrick and the shamrock.
Today I ran errands; mailed bills; paid the property tax; yard saled a tiny bit; dropped off lots of fling to my dear Ms. Mary, who takes it all; got some laundry folded; got some laundry put away; cooked supper...etc. Oh, and cleared and swept the back deck. Now Mr. Fuss is going strong, so I need to get on with the night.
