Which makes me curious:  What has the Contra-Crunchy Conservative got to say about this?  Nothing about the feature article, so far.  But he's going on and on about the Drehers' "maid."

Let's just say I totally understand why they are having someone come by once a week.  (Sheesh.)  I told my DH just yesterday that a homeschooling mom of six needs a live-in housekeeper like Alice!  If Carol Brady needed her, how much more do I?  Good for Dreher!  He's being nice to his wife.  My DH would definitely do the same for me were it within our income.  In fact, we used to have a college girl come in and do our bathrooms once a week for a while.
