Susie-Q&A

• May. 3, 2006 - Now I'm Cleaning with Steam

DH's job ran short this morning, so he spent most of the day fixing my Bissell.  Tomorrow evening I will be putting the kidbots to bed early and cleaning carpets.  I'm so glad to have a DH who is a natural mechanic!  The carpet is very bad.  Very, very bad.  Let's just say the tummy problems haven't been confined to the underwear.  Sigh.

I think most people would be stressed out with this stuff.  Maybe they'd handle it more equably than I do, but they'd be stressed.  This morning we folded laundry together, since my clean clothes pile was looking mountainous.  The machines are great at washing and drying...not so great at folding.  :)  I told the kids that one person cannot take care of eight people's clothing, so they were going to have to help from here on out.  This is a good week to take a little time off from "school" anyway, since I'll be attending the GHEA convention on Friday.

On a brighter note, we received a small check from the college (DH's previous employer) earlier today, which will cover the cost of the children's math manipulatives!  If I can't find them at the curriculum vendor hall, or the used book sale, I'll try eBay again.

Gotta go read to the girls.  Later!

I have to commend you and tell you how proud I am of you for what you do daily. I work full-time + w/ 2 teens and I know my days are not close to what you (sometimes unexpectedly) experience daily. You are the ICON of patience and I wish I could be more like you in the patience department. You are in inspiration.

Thanks for your encouraging words on my blog. Sometimes I just don't think anyone wants to read 'serious' stuff. Just a symptom of our society today, I guess.

So THAT'S my problem--here I've been getting mad at the dryer because the clothes come out Loose!!

Great post--and you make me so thankful that I'm done with that potty-training thing...
