I always buy JIF peanut butter.  The empty plastic jars make great matching canisters for those little things that get scattered everywhere.  We use them to contain:  marbles, barrettes, hair bands, beads, polished rocks, and those cheap toy lizards you get at the dollar store.  The jars look kinda cute and colorful all lined up on a dresser.

Great idea -- I will start saving them. We go through Jif like crazy. Kids like "peanut butter spoons" (a scoop of PB straight from the jar) as snacks -- not my idea, believe me, but DH has established it as an easy snack.

A "duh" moment--I save plastic coffee cans for the same purpose, and they look like....COFFEE CANS sitting on a shelf!!

Thanks, darlin'...

That's great because you can mix and match, every lid fits every jar, and if you ever lose one, it is easily and inexpensively replaced. I'll have to remember that one!
