We started reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer over lunch today and they seemed to enjoy that. Chicken requested that we re-read The Hobbit as well.
Tomorrow is errand day. I haven't changed that yet, because payday seems like the best day to run all my errands. I think bringing the kids along with me, although exhausting for me, will help provide a change of pace during the week...and maybe we can do something fun in the afternoons in lieu of bookwork. We can spend a little time at the library on Thursdays too. I guess that counts as an errand.
I was thinking that I might capitalize on the girls' interest in horses and get a Marguerite Henry book or two for them to read. |
