Posted in Milestones Our littlest guy is one year old today!  It's been a wonderful and eventful year and I just can't believe how big he is now.  We're so glad for the gift we have been given in Ian (a.k.a. Pudge). We had a very simple celebration, with hamburgers (including homemade buns) and cupcakes all around. The cupcakes were entirely homemade.  The cake recipe was a bit dense, to be honest, but everybody loved the cream cheese frosting.  Including the Birthday Boy... We gave him a Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon for his birthday.  He took to pushing it right away, and was very possessive of it.  He squealed every time Mopsy put her hand on it.  We also gave him a huge dump truck full of blocks and a shape sorter that we'd picked up on Freecycle.  He has more presents coming from family. Hugs for daddy: I'd had my hair done for the occasion earlier, by Mopsy.  It's her favorite pasttime when I'm at the computer: (Photo by Chicken) Signing out with an "I Love You" from Buster.  This one goes out to all our family and friends... He must feel like one of the big boys now that he is all of one year old! Mopsy did a great job with your hair, for a three year old. Those clips are lined up all neatly in a row!
