• Apr. 5, 2007 - It's 37 Degrees Outside!
Time to move back to Georgia.
Okay, no...I'm thankful God provided a job and a new place to live. I just wish it could be a little less windy. I had to bundle up the babe this afternoon just to take him shopping. You should hear him gasp when the gusts hit us. It's April, already!
I'm dreaming of warm southern nights, and azaleas, and dogwood, and mockingbirds singing in the sun-drenched trees. Ahhhhhh.
I did the Easter shopping tonight. I had a $40 gift card and my total was $39.29. That's less than $7 per Easter basket! I think I did pretty well. The gift card was from Grandma L. and Uncle B. for Buster and Pudge birthday presents, but I promised Buster he could come with me to pick out Grandma's gift when I come into more cash, and Pudge needs clothes anyway, so that will be his gift from Grandma. :) In the meantime, the gift card was a God-send in a lean week!
Tomorrow I take Buster to the specialist. Thank the Lord, DH has the day off and can watch the others for me. I originally thought I'd have to take them all. It's do-able, and the office said it would be fine, but things go better one on one. I hardly ever get quiet car-time with individual children and I like to take advantage of my opportunities.
I'm still praying about next year's homeschool. I know the Lord will give me clarity and wisdom. He really helped me with our budget, so I know He will help me with this. So far, though, nada. I just have to trust the Lord's timing.
Well, better go. Believe it or not, my brood is still up and needs to be put to bed. |

I'll be praying for wisdom for the homeschooling next year for you. We'll be sending our boys off this coming year, as things with Grandma have become more complicated since she cannot be left alone due to falls and mental capacity (which greatly reduces the children's activities and playmates, since people cannot come over too much either). :( We're praying for wisdom and God's will.
My prayers are with you for the specialist visit. It is time for things to clear up! God bless and much much love to you all. Lara
