Susie-Q&A

• Apr. 23, 2007 - Uninspired Blogging

All is well here with everyone.  We finally finished the tummy regimen with our tummy-trouble child.  All that remains is a blood test, which I'll probably take him for tomorrow (to rule out celiac disease and something-else-I-can't-remember).   It means taking all six children, and probably grocery shopping with the whole crew as well, so keep me in your prayers.

DH has been grading like crazy over the weekend, so we all stayed home from everything (church/Awana) to keep him company.  I've been unmotivated to get everybody ready to go out lately.

As for my lack of inspiration, needless to say, when one spends too much time reading the internet, one spends not enough time actually living life and connecting to real people (and doing housework), and thus one becomes spiritually impoverished and worthless as far as blogging is concerned.  Therefore, I'm going to turn off and tune in this week.  There's a neighborhood-wide yard sale coming up this weekend and I think I'll participate, so I need to do lots more cleaning out.  And I still haven't fully resolved my homeschool curriculum quandary, but I'm pretty sure it will be  Learning Adventures for the older girls.  I'm considering Sonlight in some form for Buster and Scrub.  I need lots of quiet, contemplative time for personal renewal purposes.  So, I guess this is good-bye for another week.  Just didn't want anybody to worry.  If family wants to contact me, just phone.  Love you!
