Lately I've been uploading my digital photos to my AOL albums and simply copying and pasting them into my blog.  It works, but I'm wondering why.  Is this the same thing as the free hosting I get at Flickr?  It's certainly a lot simpler than going through the whole rigamarole at a free hosting site.  Any techies out there who can explain this to me?  TIA.
