Susie-Q&A

• Dec. 31, 2005 - Q. What to do today?

First things first, get dressed.  Yes, though I am a lowly homeschoolblogger, I look more like one of the pajamahadeen today.

I slept until 9 a.m.!  Needed it, too.

I have two children coughing, but oddly enough, not the two who had fevers.  Okay, whatever.

First, I have to go to the post office and return Chicken's Christmas present.  She wanted a Dimetrodon (what can I say, they are her favorite dinosaur and she collects them).  The company sent a bird-like flying creature instead.  It's either meant to be a pteranodon or a pteradactyl.  I can never tell the difference.  My children are the dinosaur savvy ones.

Uncle R's visit is looking more iffy; nevertheless, I should clean and declutter this weekend.  That includes (erg) laundry, of course.

Finally, I have gift boxes that still need to be mailed out.  [Hangs head in shame.]  So, they will be given first priority and mailed out first thing next week, as soon as the holiday is over.  I doubt I'll get a New Year's mailing out.  I should just send a letter about the blog; that way everyone can keep up with us.

I used to write 12-13 page letters to my friends.  Now I'm the laziest correspondent you'll ever meet.  Of course, I had children somewhere in the intervening years, too.

Better get a move on!

Later!
