• May. 13, 2009 - Workboxes in Action

Here's how the workboxes look when we actually do them.  Heh!

Here is a file folder game:  sorting farm animals from zoo animals.

"Building a number" with Math-U-See...

Listening center...

Copywork....  I have been using StartWrite to print out copywork for them, using quotes I found in collections on the web.

As workboxes are finished, they are stacked in the child's tray.

...and the child's shelves empty...

"Go hold chicks (and then wash your hands)" was in one of the boxes on our first day.

Dressing as the ancient Greeks...

How the Ergo comes in handy...

Love those chicks!

Thanks! Seeing all of the pictures is a real treat. I feel like I am actually there with everyone. Those ducks sure are little cuties. I'll bet they are really happy to finally be outside and doing what ducks do -- they will be in duck paradise if they get a little pond to paddle in.

Lots of fun learning going on! I love the little chicks. I would like to do that someday.
Blessings,
