Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog to let me know. When you said that Marsha needed prayer, I hoped that it would not be a tragedy. This is every parent's worst nightmare. I have left Marsha a comment on HOTM, but I also wanted to let you know that I so appreciate your efforts to let her bloggy friends know about this.
Oh, yes. I got the prayer request twice last night. Oh, I prayed, but my heart felt...well...4 hours missing, etc. doesn't leave a person with a cheerful hope for the outcome. Then the second prayer request came in and it was so sad. I prayed for this family. It was like deja vu, as our dear friends lost their 3 year old many summers ago--gone in a moment. But the tragedy there was the dad backed over him with their camping trailer, thinking all the kids were out of the way. They immediately fell on their faces before God, gathered the rest of the kids ( a lot ) around them, and started praying, etc. What a testimony to the world was that memorial service! Oh, I'm getting weepy just remembering it.
My prayer is for this family to cling to Jesus. Nothing else matters. Just cling to Jesus.
Thanks for the C-box message to come over here.
What an awful tragedy. I cannot even imagine the pain and heartach. Thank you for emailing me to let me know - with just getting back from vacation and now moving I haven't been able to keep up with everything lately on my blog. My prayers and tears are with their family.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know...yes I will certainly be praying for Marsha and her family. I had only visited her blog a couple of times, so hadn't really gotten to "know" her yet.
I haven't been blogging in a while, so I'm thankful you left me a message. I'm so heartbroken for Marsha and her family. I wish there were words to comfort them, but I'm afraid that I can't come up with any.
Thank you for notifying me about Marsha's family tragedy! I did find out about it on Saturday when I checked up on my blogging friends (for the first time in months due to being ill), and I was left in a huge shock! I have spent the entire weekend thinking about her and her family. I, too, have a 3.5 year old son, so this hit home rather hard for me. I think I can finally write some words of condolences to her, and a tribute on my blog as well. It is amazing how much you get to know someone throught the blogging world. I feel as if I have really known her family. I wish I could have been there for her in person. Thanks again for taking the time to notify me.
