Gatekeeper of my home

Another week of schoool....

I can’t believe a week has gone by…

I don’t know about anyone ells but

the time is going by so fast for me?

We finish another week of school

and it went pretty smooth… J

My son is doing Biology and I

know this Biology is more complex

than when I took it in high school..

However, I decided to really

learn it with him and it has been

fun reading and studying it together..

When I think I only have three more

years with my son I have mixed

emotions… I am excited for him and

sad at the same time…

The little boy who use to look

up at me with an adoring smile,

know looks down at me with a

loving look… J

Where has time gone I ask?

thank goodness for my

twelve year old daughter…

Even though my girl is a rebel,

she is also a sweetheart at the

same time… J

Well as we start a new week

I pray for “Jesus” to continue

guiding my every step as I

mold my children’s future…

I hope you all have a

Stupendous week….

Ah i know that feelling. Kiersten is moving her room down stairs so for a limited time only all three of the older kids will have thier own room. In 2 years Joey will share a room with Matthias. Can you believe my Gene is in a size 16 boys? I can't What about Kiersten she is in misses clothes now because they fit better around all her curves. Oh they just grow way to fast.

I really think studying along side your kids builds a strong relationship and will keep them strong with Christ. I enjoy it too and I have seen how my kids and I have changed together. My hubby is moving in on the act too, yeh. I wish I would have started them right away homeschooling. Your kids are very lucky that you enjoy them and love them.

I know what you mean, they do grow up so fast...
I enjoy studying along with my children too. I thought it was so neat when I taught my oldest daughter algebra and I couldn't understand it, so I took it and sat down and studied it several times and when I finally got it, I was all excited and she thought it was so funny that I got excited about getting it! haha..
We are doing algebra 2 this year with my second daughter. She is pretty good at math, so no problems expected there.

When I think how fast the three years will go til Jane is graduated, I am glad that I have the wee one coming up behind them to do all the fun things over with.
