I'm back!

Here is a sad but true forward I got, comparing life in prison with life at work. Don’t ask me why I posted it. I guess in my “never ending search for interesting blog fodder” and the fact that I just got back from our place in Tonasket, have a millions thing to do, and have no original thoughts this morning.

If you’re wondering what’s wrong this picture, join the rest of the crowd!

@ PRISON

You spend most of your time in a 10X10 cell

@ WORK

You spend most of your
time in a 6X6 cubicle

@ PRISON

You get three fully paid for meals a day

@ WORK

You get a break for one meal
, and you have to pay for it

@ PRISON

For good behavior, you get time off

@ WORK

For good behavior,
you get more work

@ PRISON

The guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you

@ WORK

You must carry a security card
and open all the doors yourself

@ PRISON

You can watch TV and play games

@ WORK

You could get fired for watching
TV and playing games

@ PRISON

You get your own toilet

@ WORK

You have to share the toilet with
people who pee on the seat

@ PRISON

They allow your family and friends to visit

@ WORK

You aren't even supposed
to speak
to your family

@ PRISON

All expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required on your part

@ WORK

You must pay all your expenses to go
to work, and they deduct taxes from
your salary to pay for prisoners

@ PRISON

You spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out

@ WORK

You spend most of your time wanting
to get out and go inside bars

@ PRISON

You must deal with sadistic wardens

@ WORK

They are called 'managers'

THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE.

HI
I checked this out on Snopes.com a few weeks ago. THe pictures are real but they are from a prison in Austria, not Illinois.

HA! Just visit the Lewis County jail. The prisoners have no TV, nothing to read, and the meals are (very seriously) roadkill.

About your comment, it suddenly smacked me over the head that Lyric would be about 25 at the time of the infiltration. Which would make her the age of my protag. So... *thinks* Want Lyric back again?

Protag's goal: Her brother and a friend have been captured and she's going to get them back. The rest of the group has been told that the two will be beheaded if the group doesn't surrender, and since the commander won't surrender, the protag and another soldier are going in.

Paul just got this in an email last night. We were kind of shocked about the prison being from Illinois. We lived there, there was nothing like that there. :)
Welcome Back.
