Scribblings from a twenty-year homeschool veteran about homeschooling, life after homeschooling, occasional peeks into the world of writing for children, and the ups and downs of life in general.
Today I want to share a link with you of one of my first article-writing attempts. It's for the Christian Writing Examiner, and talks about the trends in the "tween" (aka middle-grade, ages 8-10) market. The good and the bad.
If you're interested, hop over here and leave a comment for the Christian Writing Examiner!
I did go and read the article and thought it was great. Good topic and some good points, too. We are always on the lookout for books that our little reader can enjoy (9yo) - and it isn't easy to find good ones.
Congratulations on your "first attempt at article writing." I would have never known it was your first unless you had told me so. And it looked more like a well written article by a seasoned author than "an attempt".
Here's to many more!
