Our school room(s)

Posted in what-not
Gena has asked us to post about our schoolroom for a new contest!  Well, like many others of you, our school consists of several rooms.  We actually do have a school room, but no one ever uses it for school. It's mainly used for keeping all the school stuff together.  We have been schooling for so many years, our 'schoolroom' also consists of various houses and even one foreign country.

So here are three pictures to represent the various stages of schooling at home for us:

#1 Sonshine Christian School circa 1997

#2 School in Honduras circa 2001

#3 school in Tennessee circa 2004

To try to catagorize our schooling methods would be 'eclectic'.  We use some workbooks, some real books, some child directed, some days of just learning what God wants us to learn that day.  Such a blessing to school at home; with or without a schoolroom!

My Purpose

“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Col. 2:2,3)
