Zippity-doo-da!!

Posted in what-not
Look, I'm on-line again!  I don't know how long it will last.  It seems to be coming and going (they're still working on setting up my new system.)

A little explanation concerning our Internet:  The college (JBC) has T1 Internet cable.  I live about 1/8 of a mile from the main hub, across a 10 foot strip of land that does NOT belong to the college, so they are not allowed to dig and bury the T1 cable to my house.  So the College bought a $2000 wireless direct system that receives the signal from the college's main hub and hooked it to my roof.  Ta-da!  Direct access Internet cable at my house!  Now if it just keeps on working!

So, here I sit at my OWN computer and will try to catch up on all you all that I haven't read anything about in THREE weeks!!!  I feel so out of touch!

August 28, 2006 - Hi Betsy

I am glad the devotional spoke to you as it did to me. I have felt so out of touch. Life has been so busy that I haven't had time to blog or read up on interesting science stories. I am hoping now that summer is over, things will slow down a bit, but keeping my Ebay store going and working writing ads for a local company keeps my free time pretty tied up.

Take care! And congrats on the internet!
