Berkeley

Posted in what-not
I've been enjoying the winter here in east Tennessee. It has finally gotten cold, which I do NOT like. After living only 2 years in hot, humid Honduras, my body adjusted to those upper 90's+ all year round and I have not been warm since coming back to the States!

I haven't been posting much here recently and that's my own fault. I have been busy with the boys, but lately I've been enjoying my spare time by reading! I just love to cuddle up with a good book and warm fire when it's cold outside. I've been neglecting the computer! That's not all bad, I know.

We got to 'puppy sit' the grand-dog a few weekends ago. That was fun. He's a great little dog and we all enjoyed him. Well, all of us except for our cats. Although they are twice the size of little Berkeley, they were most intimidated by him.

So here's a picture of cute Berkeley snoozing on Harold's lap.
The cats were glad to see him return home. The rest of us miss him. Not like we can't go visit often. Our oldest son and his wife live about 1 mile down the road from us, for now. They plan on moving to Indiana come springtime, though. I don't know if a Mama's heart can take that. We'll see.

Indiana- my that is far. Especially after being so close.
Cute pup.
Thought I'd stop in and check on you. Glad you are reading. I wish I could find the time. The little one is keeping me busy -- I love this busy!
Blessings,
Maria

I, too, have been reading a lot. I'm out of books right now, and it is driving me crazy. I have to try to find one before our trip next week. Our library is pretty pitiful, though.
We have a Yorkie, only he's about 3 times the size of that one!
Wow. I bet you are dreading your son moving. Ashley isn't even thinking of getting married (Um...well, she's thinking of it, but there's no one for her to marry at this point!), and I already get worried sometimes that she'll move far away! I pray it won't be too hard for you.
Put your book down long enough to come by and say hi. Snuggle up and stay warm. (I'm cold, too.)
