Racing!

Posted in just for fun

We went to the 411 Motor Speedway last night, to celebrate Charile's 13th birthday this week.  Here's a couple of great pictures my dh took with his better-than-average digital camera.

Dirt-track racing at it's finest!!

Hi from someone who's been offline for a while (like 6 months!) Is Charlie your son? I have a son named Charlie too! Funny how I never realized that before. That is so neat. My husband used to drive sprint cars before we were married... he can't afford it now, someone has to pay the Rainbow Resource bill (ha ha ha). Have a nice 4th...

Looks like good guy fun. I used to have to go to dirt track raising occasionally when I was growing up. Marissa would probably like it, too. Happy Belated Birthday to Charlie!
Yes, I thought about you when I posted the pictures. I hope that all of your memories are not painful ones, but I can see that they would certainly cloud any good ones. I can't say that I am completely comfortable with these trips, but I do know they feel called to go, and they sure go with tons of prayer. Perhaps because they are such short term helps--their safety and me. We really want to visit as a family. Marissa wants to see her birth country. I have some anxiousness about it. I want to be safe, but at the same time, I don't want to allow fear to keep us from it. Ugh! If we visit, we will be with a tour, in primarily more touristy areas. I'm praying for wisdom for if and when to visit.
Thank you for your sweet comment. I miss you, too. I was just thinking of you again the other day, and wondering if you were okay.
