Of course, of course I'll show you pictures... but first, here is my daughter "helping" me to knit - she's doing such a great job! She had to try them on, of course, too, and was very disapointed to report that they are "too big mommy!"
However, they ARE the size they are supposed to be! lol I call these my "ugly socks". They are a long time unfinished project. I knit one full sock, then stopped because I just didn't like the colour combination. They look fine from a distance, I just didn't like the look of them up close! I'm still not excited about the colours, but at least I can cross them off of my "UFO" list! Yea!!

Way to go on finishing up some of those UFO's! :) I, on the other hand, started sock #2 from the Koigu, and then promplty set it down to start a shawl. I can't help it. The Koigu will be a good portable project, and I'll work on the shawl at home. (The shawl will be a gift for Nikki, the artist. I'm motivated right now to work on it!)
Abby told me that she's going to be a good knitter someday. :) I told her that I'd teach her when she's ready. I can't wait.

Oh, that was just too cute with the sock size. I remember my mom making our
winter sock's for us to wear. Prayer's are with your Sister-in-law and the family as well.

Hi Rachel,
Congrats on getting that second sock finished. I have a pair I'm trying to finish for my aunt who just today informed me that she is having a birthday party this coming Sunday and it occurred to me that I better hurry up and finish that last sock for her!
Keep on knittin'!
Heidi

Lovely socks!
I mostly crochet, but knit sometime (not often). I have a great number of UFOs/WIPs around that I need to get cracking on. And a stash that is scary. I hope your WIPs are soon FOs. :)
