First of all, I would like to thank everyone who e-mailed me with book suggestions both on the list and privately. Some wonderful ideas were offered and I appreciate those who took the time to reply!
We have begun with one of my favourites "Little House on the Prairie" and a new-to-me cassic series, "The Boxcar Children". We are reading at lunch time, and even the two and three year old are enjoying the stories and even remember the story from day to day, which surprised me!
We've also all begun new scheadules this week. We are "managing our home" and are trying to use our time wisely. Each of the children got new chores to do and a new scheadule that spans a week. (they colour in each activity as they complete it). Even Mommy got a new cleaning scheadule!! I have to admit I've really struggled to keep up with the laundry, dishes, housework, meals, homeschooling, daycare adn church activities since the baby was born. Adding school for myself to the mix means I really have to buckle down and manage my time more effectively. So far... it's going well! The kids have all completed their tasks with viggor! They enjoy being able to cross things off the lists! Let's hope the excitement keeps up!

I love your blog! Boy is that baby cute! I CANNOT imagine how you are doing all that you are doing -- except by God's grace. Maybe if I got off the computer and stopped getting so sidetracked I could accomplish more. It's something I'm praying about. Though the children are already helping with chores, it seems for what they have to do our home should be immaculate! It's not. When I was using FlyLady's technique it really, really worked. I need to just get back to it. Okay, well, the baby is crying.
Jennifer :)

A schedule sounds like it would help. You certainly do have a lot on your plate! It took me forever to get into the swing of things with just one little one at home, not counting all the other things.

Ah, what a wonderful help schedules can be. It's great that the kids are enjoying it. If they do begin to get bogged down with it, try purchasing a new set of fancy pens for coloring in the tasks completed. It is amazing what some new glitter pens or something like that can be! And if they are used ONLY for the scheduling stuff, kids seem to appreciate their use that much more. Hope it goes great!!

When you have that much going, one has to have a routine and schedule. A meal plan helps a bunch! It takes a little more time to plan, but it is worth it in the end! Just an idea that has helped me lots!

Look at you go! Your handsome little guy is only a couple months into his life and you have been able to get all that done?! I am most impressed. I wish you rest soon.

These are so great! We just visited Kennedy Space Center yesterday. I bet your son would really like it there.
I love reading your blog. I usually read it from my Google Reader, and I can't see anything you type in yellow. But if I come directly to your blog I can see it.
