Today my son told me that I still look pregnant. I hadn't really thought about it, but looking in the mirror when we came home from the mall this afternoon, I realized that YES INDEED, I still look pregnant -- in fact, I look MORE then pregnant!
I'm almost embarrassed to post that picture.
Maybe it's time to join Weight Watchers, or a Gym, or Blubberbloggers....
It's hard to believe that, while chasing my own children and all the day care children, I could still be that big!
Do you think I could get away with calling it "Baby Weight" still? Two and a half months after baby has arrived??
Oh, probably!
Have I mentioned yet how much I LOVE my baby slings?? He was so comfy and cozy all snuggled up close to Mommy on the walk home!
When my son was born I had to keep him close all the time, so a sling was a wonderful idea -- but there was no where I could purchase one nearby, so I began to make them. It was such a simple pattern that I actually made several -- different colours and fabrics to match different outfits and needs! Now I still use them all the time (though I've graduated from a "small" size to a "medium" LOL) Such an easy and versitle way to carry baby more easily, comfort baby, nurse baby modestly, and keep baby close even when busy with other children.

Still baby weight? Absolutely!! At least I hope so 'cause I'm right there with ya. I am so hungry from nursing, that I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon either.
How did you make the slings? I would love to try one. My little guy seems to want to be in my arms all day (and night!)

and you reeled me in! LOL I couldn't imagine that it wasn't a pregnant picture. I felt sorry for you... and then the second picture came.
Anyway, wish I had learned to use a sling when my kids were babies. They seemed so complicated. My niece makes them too. Actually the ones I see women using these days seem different than the few that were offered when my older kids were babies.
Thanks for the laugh!
You ar funny!

Oh how funny - you had me fooled at first too. Great sling. I remember when my babies were tiny, all's I had was a backpack kind of thing - difficult to get the girls in and out of -- I'm sure they would have liked what you made a lot better.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your very kind comments! I love your blog and all the photos!
Blessings, Jane

I love the sling. I only had a front pack with mine. I am so short that the straps didn't adjust tight enough and had to keep a hand on it to make sure they didn't fall out. I have to say that I was fooled by the picture. After my youngest, I got on the Depo shot. I gained back all the weight I had lost from having him in three months. So I was at the highest pregnancy weight. He's eight and I still struggle with my weight because of it.
Thanks for visiting.

That's pretty funny! I wish we had a baby in our house all the time! Even with all the crying and diaper changes! ;-)
