A little bloggy-holidayWell, after a short bloggy-holiday I'm back -- just for a sec, though! We've had a good week On Sunday my hubby did some pulpit supply at a very very friendly little church. We had the opportunity to go swimming as a family in a good friend's pool. I am surprised every time I swim with my children at just how well they are doing in the water. Even the baby enjoyed it this time around, spashing and kicking and laughing. I must admit, though, with three very fair children (just like their mommy) I am greatful for 70 spf sun block!! ![]() A friend sent some beautiful flowers home with my hubby for me this week. The colours are just perfect for summer. What a thoughtful thing. They are very "happy" pinks, yellows and oranges, and I have really enjoyed the sunshine that they have brought indoors. ![]() After trying, rather unsuccessfully, to introduce my youngest to cereal, Grandma decided that it was time to try something different. In an attempt to stop her from feeding him caramel icecream, I mashed up some banana -- it was a success! So, banana is the flavour of choice and he is quite enjoying sitting up at the table with the rest of the family to eat his meals. The older two are quite amused by his antics... it's taking THEM a little longer to eat because they're watching him.
![]() Besides the crashing computer, I have been busy working on some other projects that have kept me from blogging -- like laundry, my own schooling and a little knitting! ![]() School this week has gone very very well. On Tuesday we got through school very quickly, and had a busy day doing lots of other things. As he went to bed my son said "Mom, you're right, I worked hard and had lots of time to play today. I think I'll do my work fast every day!". And he has! I think the concept of TIME has just connected! ![]() And since I've updated you about the two boys, I'll tell you a little story about their sister, too. My hubby has twisted his back and has been seeing the chiropractor regularly to help. On Tuesday we were out during his appointment time, so the children and I tagged along. As we walked into the office my daughter asked where the piano was. Completely confused I dug a little deeper... apparently the children, not knowing what a CHIROPRACTOR was associated it with the closest sounding phrase that they did know, and thought Daddy was going to CHOIR PRACTICE. Very different! Miss Laura would be proud that they are associating everything to music! And, on that note, I am heading to bed -- and posting this before my computer crashes again. ![]() Leave a Comment
