School (or something like it)We are poking along at school for my son. He is less then enthused about the work, but seems to be focusing very well this week. My daughter, on the other hand, is officially in "preschool" and is so anxious to do as much as we can give her!My son is finishing up Grade one right now. We didn't complete the grade in June, due to being away quite a bit, and having a new baby join a busy day-care household... so we are finishing it up now before heading on into Grade two. We aren't particularly concerned about him not finishing since he is only 6, and is doing very well at whatever I give him to do. Another positive about continuing to work on last years "stuff" is that the Grade two books haven't arrived yet! So, on we go... we are doing a writing focus this week. My son seems to be enjoying it, but is having difficulty understanding that EACH sentence needs to contain a complete thoughts - he seems to like fragmented sentences! ![]() Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 193 of 470 } { Next Page } |
