My hubby, Jeff, was laid off from work last week. This comes as a blessing in disguise as it has afforded us the ability to spend this past week with his parents. I think it's the longest time we've ever spent in a row. We took advantage of the time, and were able to scheadule in 9 other visits while we were in the area - what a busy time! It was a wonderful visit, and we were very spoiled, but it is always nice to be home again.

Wow - what a positive attitude for you guys to have about your husband being laid off! That is so wonderful to see it as a blessing to spend time with family like that. I hope it was a week that will always be remembered by your children and I pray the Lord will truly bless your hearts that gave thanks in all things with a great new job.
