Growing up before my eyes!My *almost 7-year-old* has shown me his heart tonight -- his great, big loving caring heart. It was "store night" at Olympians (mid week program) this evening. The children earn "points" throughout the year that they can trade in for stuff on spacific nights. He earned what he could, as he brought his Bible and said his memory verses. When it came time to go to the store he realized that two of the children in his group had only one point each. What did he do? He gifted them each with some of his so they could get something for themselves. When it came time to pick out his own goodies, he first picked out something for his sister, and something for his brother -- then got a couple small items for himself. He thought of them FIRST. It seems like I am constantly learning from my children -- lessons that I feel I should be teaching them! Leave a Comment
