Girls Day OUTI have some special girl friends - we've know each other since grade school. We planned a special day today -- just us Girls. Thankfully the grandparents were gracious when called upon for babysitting today!Two of us scrapbook (Laura and I) and Catherine is interested in learning, so we headed to a local store for the morning and enjoyed sharing our pictures with each other. We then headed down town to a little cafe that was new to all of us... and enjoyed a delicious lunch together -- with NO kids! Imagine that! What a wonderful refreshing time to catch up on each other's lives. I really can't remember the last time I did that. We sat and talked until it was time to pick up the children -- we were each reluctant to leave. What a blessing to have good "old" friends.
