I thank God for another day!

Hi, Friends!

How are you doing? I sure hope you are doing amazingly well.  I am doing great...yay! :)

I cannot get over how wonderful my God is! WOW! Every time I think of everything he has done for me, I am humbled, and feel honored to be able to be in his presense. It is amazing, to me, to think that my God loved me, and you enough to give his son for us! WOWSERS!

Okay, just a little excited here. :) I am so sorry I have not been keeping up on this blog. I believe that I am actually going to rid of my xanga, for various reasons, but mainly because there are so many innapropriate blogs there! Yikes!

For all those who didn't know, I now go to a private school. YAY! I got a half-tuition scholarship, which was a blessing from God. I told him, "if you want me to be in this school, I'll get the scholarship. If I dont get it, I'll just be homeschooled again."  I am still technically "homeschooled", because this private school is sort of "liberal arts" education, where I only attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and spend the rest of my time at home studying hard!

This morning I woke up with a terrible aching in my neck and shoulders. I have a cough, and my throat is beggining to be sore, so please pray for me! *sigh* I really hope this doesn't turn into strep throat, the doctors told me if I got strep again, they would be removing my tonsils. EEK!

Hm... I have a violin recitle coming up, yay! My teacher has helped me choose a classical piece to do, it is fast, and very fun! I absolutley am in love with the violin! Although, I cant wait for my old teacher to come back from his mission, I really miss him! He was a great mentor.

God is so faithful, isn't he?  I had been really struggling with pure mind and heart, but God has cleansed me of that by my relationship with him. And, as I draw closer to God,I realize I need NOTHING else! :D Of course, other things are nice to have....lol, but I dont need any worldly possesions.

Wow, long post. I'm so sorry about it being so long. I'm rambling, as usual!

But before I go, I just want to say:

I THANK GOD FOR ANOTHER DAY!

Love in Jesus,
Rebecca

If the Radio Dies, Will You Sing for Me?

Sometimes, I've worried about the radio dying. Okay, not really...It was just something I thought about last night!

What if the radio did die? I wonder if anybody would sing for me. *sigh*

Oh, well, today it is raining outside, the perfect example of a good day to sit at home, and read. I always think of My TJYC teacher, who on our Third Oral exam, she asked me what I wanted to do this coming year. I responded that I wanted to stay home and finish highschool. She nodded, smiled, and said,

"Home is a good place. There's no place like it."

That really got me thinking. Home is a good place.   I feel sorry for all those teenagers and kids out there who don't like their home because of family problems, or because they just dont like their family much. If only they knew. Oh, how great that would be!

I'm afraid that sometimes I set my heart on too many things, like...I don't know. I have wondered if "all dreams die". Because, I have only had a few that have come true, most of them seem lost in total memory or an abyss of something unsure.
Rachel Lynde said, in Anne of Green Gables:

"Blessed are they who expect nothing for they shall not be dissapointed."

But, then again, Rachel Lynde is such a ninny-pinny, that I dont know if I can believe what she says, although...I suppose it is true. But, if you don't expect anything, how can you hope for anything, or believe that you'll get what you've tried for? *shrugs* Sorry if it seems confusing. If it IS confusing, I know why! It is because I am confused! *laughs*

Well, today my family is going over to a friends house to go play games, it should be fun. We were going to go play softball, but it's raining.

the rain.

Maybe someday, if the raido dies, the rain will sing for me.

Rebecca

Ramblings!

Yeppers, thats probably what me and my siblings look like while practicing sword fighting. Oh well, at least we have fun! :p

I totally forgot about my blog here, (how nice is that?), until a friend reminded me! (Thanks!)  And, so, I have decided to post an entry here.

Summer is here, and I am SO happy! I am still finishing some highschool work, and hopefully will be all done with ninth grade work by, eh, lets say Fathers day? Thats my goal at least!

I am also going to study Astronomy, and do Drivers Ed, seeing that my 16th birday is coming soon! (well, okay, not until september, but still!)  I am going to have a huge masquerade ball for my birthday, and invite everybody I know, and half the people I dont know! *laughs*

Well, I changed my background, yeah...I know you probably didn't notice, but thats okay!

Hey, look! They're swing dancing! I've never seen swing dancing smiley faces before!

Well, I have been doing great, and GOD IS FAITHFUL!

I am still hoping/ planning on going to India in two or so years, just short term. Then, I think I want to come back and go to college.

My best friend hasn't talked to me much, her mom had her baby, and they named her Samantha, (which is the main characters name in my books!) I am still working on my book, it is taking a while to write! I'm also taking a journalism class now, and have taken a writing test to enter into an institution, hopefully I get accepted. If I dont, I'll keep trying!

Well, I gotta fly, I have homework to do!
God Bless!

In Christ,
 bEcca

Hello!

Hola!

I am new to homeschoolblogger.com, as you can tell! :p Anyways, yeah! I have an Xanga, and stuff, so I love blogging! Most people tell me it is for news related stuff...but my blogs are mostly fun.

I am the oldest child of 8, and have never stepped foot in a public school. Anyways, I have to go- so this wont be too long!

Some things that my dad, the youth leader at our church told us the other day:

Thoughts on Overcoming.

The LORD Is our strength, who shall we fear? If God is on our side, who can harm us?

Psalms 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the Strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Those are just two verses that we looked up, the list of passages in the bible about God being our strength are so great, it would take forever to post them all! ^.^  The point is this:

GOD IS OUR STRENGTH!

Amen?

AMEN!

If God is for us, who can be against us? With Gods help we can do anything.

"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthins me."

          Until later,
                      bEc
