This is what we did today everyone . We had a nice day . It was pretty warm outside but we went to Marilyn's friend's house for a picnic. The weather cooperated well . I almost thought we would have some rain , but it just clouded over for a little bit then cleared right up . Of course where there is a pool , there are my girls . They truely are water babies . They NEVER pass up a pool and they don't care how cold the water is either .
After swimming then they had to get on the swing and swing away. Here the grown ups were still eating and the kids had already ate, swam and were out of the pool.
Hannah liked this swing alot even though she couldn't quite get it going very well. It was something different , because we don't have this on our swing . It was just right for her .
After the picnic the nice thing was that they lived really close to one of the many churches we go to during the summer for vacation bible school. So we went up the road and there we were . This is the popular vbs in the area. When we got there there was a line outside of the door . The theme this year ? Fiesta ! and boy it was definitley decorated like one . Here we were in line waiting to sign up . The girls brough Kirsten along .
Here's a part of the inside that was decorated. I'm not sure who they get to draw the characters but who ever it is , they are VERY talented. Also for some reason whenever I take pictures of the inside of this church they are ALWAYS blurry . I'm not sure why. But either they are too dark , or they are blurry . Its rare I can get a good picture of the inside.
O.k. this is the last blurry picture. Here everyone is singing some of the VBS songs .
So this was our day today everyone . The girls can't wait to go back tomorrow for another round of Vacation Bible school . Hope you had a great Sunday . |

O.k so this blog is a day late. I'm getting slow these days. But yesterday was grandpa's ( pumpkin's ) birthday and I wanted to get these pictures up.
This is how the girls started their day . My morning glories like to log on and watch Nick toons on the computer. We don't have cable , so they've found a new an innovative way to watch their favorite cartoons from Nickelodeon . Can't put anything past them.
Here's Hannah having some breakfast. Sometimes she sits in her high chair and other times she'll eat at the table. All depends on her mood . This morning she was in a really good mood .
After that it was off to get dressed and get ready to go up to the farm for grandpa's birthday party . So while they were waiting for mommy to get everything ready to go they sat down and watched some more cartoons. Daddy had surprised them the other day with a Fairly Odd Parents DVD . So they got have a small snack and watch that for a little bit before heading out.
So we finally made it out the door and got up to the farm and who was waiting for us on the porch ? Not only other then Thurman the famous Norwegian Forest Cat. Thurman is older then old but still ticking . She is getting dosil in her old age as she never liked anyone getting near her. But now she wants to be petted and loved. Tim thinks she is about 17 or 18 years old now . Kara , if you see this picture of Thurman , Tim says this picture is for you
We finally made our way inside and the girls met grandpa with a GREAT BIG birthday HUG . They are definitley grandpa's girls , and my girls love him very much too.
They gave grandpa his card and also his present. This present was wrapped by them . It was something they negotiated to give grandpa in exchange for two movies ( Over the Hedge , and Cars when it comes out ) and a trip to McDonalds. It was the sheriff's car from the movie Cars. It wasn't in the McDonalds group of cars . But they got it in the cereal box and the only one we had. So they wrapped it up for him as his birthday present. Grandpa was happy to get it . Little did they know grandpa had a surprise for them. Yo-Ho maties . Meet the Pirates of the Carribbean . Not that they will see the movie but they were happy to get the pirate hats. Grandpa has figured out that you don't have to buy the Happy Meals to get the prize. So our Corry McDonaldsis getting to learn who grandpa is because he is always in there buying them the toys .
After all of that we sat down and had a chicken dinner from the Dutch Treat. We had to wait awhile because they were having a REALLY busy night . They were making chicken dinners left and right . But that was grandpa's birthday dinner. Plus the girls love it . It's like a Kentucky Fried chicken dinner , with the potatoes, coleslaw , rolls and chicken . But it tastes better . We waited a little while to let our food digest and then it was time for cake and ice cream. We had a tastey M&M chocolate cake ready for grandpa . Marilyn put on the star candles and we all sang happy birthday and in one breath grandpa blew them all out .
When we were done singing Hannah walked over and gave grandpa a BIG HUG .
Now here was the best part of it all . Cutting the cake and having some ice cream. We get our cake from Sander's market . A lady there makes the cakes and they are the BEST . The frosting is just right and everything . The weather was great as well , not too hot . So there it is everyone . This is how we spent Grandpa's birthday yesterday . Happy Birthday Pumpkin :>) |

Hello everyone. Today was my weekly appointment with sono and non stress test. I have some very nice photos here of baby Maggie. I think you'll enjoy them . She is a growing girl , and is doing very well. Her kidney looks good and they said that the cysts are stable so they won't grow they'll just stay the same . Which is good. All it means is after she's born she'll go see the pediatric urologist and have to take an antibiotic for a year as a profolactic . Well anyways I'm sure your waiting to see the pictures right ? Get ready for a good laugh and Maggie the human pretzel has managed to get herself in a bit of a pickle here lets just say she gave the sono tech and I a good laugh today If you take a really good look , she managed to get her toe in her eye. You would think that would be SOOOO uncomfortable . But she looked pretty content there .
I was waiting for her to start sucking on her toe or something . I think we'll sign her up for America's got Talent . I think we've found her talent Now don't you all wish you could do that ? |

Tim thought it would be most appropriate on Independence Day to show our Country's Flag, Old Glory.
Let us take time on this day of picnics, parades and fireworks to remember what this day is all about.
We are all free to do and achieve all that we can because of where we live. America may have problems but let us not forget that we can Worship where we want, we can vote for whomever we want and we can work and provide a life for our families because we are all free.
We all love the same things: Our Children, Our God, Our Country and Our Liberty. (And our Children LOVE SpongeBobSquarePants...LOL!)
From all of us in the Reed Family to all of you in Cyberspace....Happy 4th of July!
"Freedom is NEVER Free!"
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA! (1776-2006)

After having such a great time at Jill's house , the next day we went to visit Aunt Cherie at her beautiful cottage house on Lake Chautauqua. We also enjoy going up there. There is such a nice breeze there off of the lake. Here we got to visit with family and friends here too that we don't get to see very often.
Here's a picture of the outside of Aunt Cherie's cottage house . This is a totally different cottage as they had the old one torn down and this is a new one that was built. Its really nice inside .
Here dad took a nice picture of Marilyn and Katie by the lake. The girls went down there to throw stones. No swimming today there though . I thought they swam plenty the day before . But we had a plan in motion that they didn't know yet.
First we they went in the house to play while us grown ups visited. Here the girls found the toy closet and got the toys out . They were playing with their cousins Rachel and Jacob. Poor Jacob he was the odd man out . All of these girls. Not only was their Marilyn ,Katie , Hannah , and Rachel , but there was also baby Meadow , and Brooke . Poor Jacob was in a sea of girls. So he found some solice with dad .
Here I was visiting with Kara as she was feeding baby Meadow. She is a good eater. She drinks between 4-8 oz of formula . I loved watching her eat because she had her little hands up under her face like she was saying " Oh this is so good ."
On the outside , Uncle David, Grandpa and Pat sat and visited outside away from all of us ladies.
Hannah joined them outside too and drove the little motor boat. She really liked this toy .
Again dad took this picture of the girls outside with grammy. We didn't realize Rachel turned her face until I loaded the pictures on the computer. The girls are really growing up .
Here's a nice picture of grammy , aunt Cherie and the girls eating a quick snack before we headed off to.....................
Midway Park. This is a cute little amusement part by the lake . Its made just right for younger children . This was the first ride they visited . All four of them could get on the boat . Marilyn amused us by going on so the little ones could ride ...
But this was more her speed. The Tilt a Whirl. Here Paige was willing to go on with her. Dad went on this last year at the Spartansburg fair with her but got motion sickness from it , and I wasn't about to go on . So Page came to the rescue. While Marilyn was riding the rides we took Katie , Hannah and Rachel on some other rides. But dad had the camera , and so after the Tilt a Whirl , Brittany went on with Marilyn on the Dragon ride. She loved this too. For Marilyn , the faster , the better.
After that we all met up again and the kids went on the little train ride. They really liked that too.
Mommy actually took this picture . Here Katie was riding a little paddle boat. She liked that alot . Boy I would of payed the ride girl to stand in the water for a little bit. It was getting hot . After this we took them on a carosel ride , and then decided it was time to get back and go have a bite to eat.
Here Sandy and Cherie were getting the food ready , while I sat at taste tested some of it and visited with Paige.
Here little Jacob was spending some time away from the girls with his dad , Chad. I don't blame him all those girls would drive me nuts too..
Tim took this really nice picture of Grammy and Aunt Cherie .
And Pat enjoying a cool one while baby Brooke slept in his arms. Brooke reminds me alot of my girls when they were that little . The slept all day and were up all night .
After we were all done eating , the girls decided to go into the t.v. room and watch some Nickelodeon . They just made themselves at home as you can see
Tim also took some really nice photos of the two new additions to the family . The first picture is of Meadow Rose. She is quite an alert baby . She loved sitting in that bouncer. She likes to see what is going on and loves to listen to people talk . This picture is of Becky and baby Brooke. Its a little hard to see her face with her hand there. But that's o.k. Pretty soon we'll have three new girls in the family .
O.k. this blog is going to end here . But not before I introduce you to the non human members of the family too. The first is of Sisko the cat, and the 2nd here is Charlie the dog who is owned by Chad and Kara. Here Charlie sat and posed for Tim showing off his new puppy cut. He looks nice and cool. O.k. everyone , stayed tune for part 3 of the 4th of July ............. |

Hello everyone. I hope you all are enjoying your 4th of July . Thought we would share our 4th here with a 3 part blog . So if your looking forward to seeing lots of pictures... well get ready
O.k, for the first part of our blog we'll start with Johnathan's graduation party. Here is Jill and Craig's beautiful house . Its just gorgeous inside and the landscaping is beautiful. Around back is a nice in ground swimming pool and a ....
YES... everyone a Rainbow playset ! Every grownups.....I mean child's play set dream . Here I caught daddy getting in on the action .
Here is a picture of Marilyn , Katie , Hannah , and Trey ( and the young girl who's name is slipping my mind at the moment. ) Trey is such a cutie pie. He and I played red light , yellow light , green light in the pool .
Here we are in the pool. Boy did it feel really good . The girls had been eyeballing the pool ever since we stepped foot there. They just couldn't wait . They are water babies most definitley . I enjoyed getting in the pool too. It cooled me off and helped my back a little. Baby Maggie liked it ,,, I could feel her kicking too .
Shortly after we got into the pool it started to cloud over and began to rain a little bit . With the news calling for possible thunderstorms it was a good time to get out . So we all got dressed and enjoyed some of the wonderful food that Craig and Jill made for the party . Here the girls are having a bite to eat while I was saying hello to Uncle Bill.
So while we were eating , Tim went around and took some more pictures. Here's Grammy and Aunt Carol by the pool side .
Here is a picture of Grandpa and Uncle Bill talking about guy stuff . Here's a nice picture of Me and the wonderful hostess , cook and stepmom of the graduation boy ( which by the way I didn't realize we didn't get a picture of him .. Agh!!! ) Jill . I enjoy visiting with Jill ALOT . Our children are just about the same age. She has 3 boys and I have 3 girls. Jill is due with her 4th in Dec . I told her I'll try to send her our girl vibes. But in this case . If I have 4 girls then its only right that she has 4 boys !
After eating of course the girls were begging to get back into the pool. I of course wanted to digest my food. But since they love swimming so much I gave in. It still felt good to get into the water though . Here Marilyn was chilling out on the intertube here and I was filling up a water squirter for Hannah, who is behind her sister .
Here Hannah figured out how to swim on her back. She learns quick. I was telling her to put her arms up behind her head while she kicked. Hannah loved every minute in the pool.
Here's a picture of Katie cooling off too. Her favorite part was diving off the diving board.
After swimming in the pool for about 2 hours it was time to get out and dry off before heading home. The girls found themselves back at the swing set. By the time we left they wore themselves out . Hannah was the first to fall asleep in the van . Only taking a 10 minute powernap . Only to wake up and stay awake until we got home. Marilyn fell asleep for a little bit . Katie roughed it out and didn't go to sleep until her head hit her pillow.
And so everyone those are just about all of the pictures we had taken . We really enjoyed ourselves ALOT. Jill threw a great party , with great food and it was nice to see family that we don't get to see very often . Now off to part 2 of our 4th of July weekend ........ |

Hello everyone Today was the Corry Fest Parade and for another year we were able to participate in it . In past years we always walked the parade with Maria and her dance class. But this year since Maria is away at college we went with our friends from church . It was a beautiful day here , just perfect. The sun was out , there was a nice breeze and we all went to get set for the parade. Tim went out and found a place to sit while he waited to get pictures of the parade. Here are some nice pictures Tim took of the parade while I was with the girls .
Of course we all know what a police car looks like . But here is a nice picture of a Corry police car . Here's a picture of a real Hummer . You know , those things on the road that have 15 miles to a gallon !
A picture of the Corry High School Marching Band. Here they are standing at attention . Their band this year was pretty small.
Here's a nice picture of the Shriners. Everyone loves the Shriners . . The saying goes there's a special place in Heaven for the Shriners. If your not familiar with them they are a group of men who started a no cost hospital for children with orthopedic problems and children who suffer from burns. Here they are on their go carts. They go pretty fast , and we always stand away from the road because you just never know . But they really know how to handle those things and they have their own patterns they drive them in . It must take alot of practice to get it just right and to have such a small space to work with . We finally made it down to where daddy was. There's Marilyn and Katie in the olive colored shirts. Hannah was in there too but she was right behind Marilyn so you can't see her. She was a VERY good girl . She stayed right on the float and didn't move .
Here's another picture , if you look to your left in the truck I'm in there . The ladies from the church didn't think I should walk. I was actually going to . But it was really warm outside and to be honest I'm happy I didn't . It took me a while to cool down once I got home .
Here are the men who always play the bagpipes. I know we always enjoy hearing them play . Here was a really neat float. I'm not sure what group they were but I did see something that said something about the Hurricane Victims . Of course the theme was Mardi Gras .
To end the parade and the blog here are some fire trucks. I mean you just can't end a parade without them.
There you go folks.. another fun filled day in the life of the Reed Family . Tomorrow we go to see Jill and Craig and celebrate Craig's son Johnathan's graduation , and the fourth of July with them . Can't wait |

O.k. so this is a day late. But boy I sure was tired from Saturday so I wanted to rest up a little and not sit on the computer before putting up our Father's Day pictures. This one isn't as long as the other one . But its just as nice. We started off our Father's Day with giving dad some nice handmade gifts. Marilyn and Katie drew pictures of dad and Hannah made a frame at summer preschool and mommy just added in a cute picture of her , and mom gave dad a nice hug and kiss . He sure did like it . Then it was off to annual Father's Day chicken Barbeque. It was a perfect day and we got to celebrate it in the New and Improved Spartansburgh Fire Hall. We've been going to the Father's Day BBQ every year for at least the past 8yrs ( maybe a little longer ). Picture of the New and Improved Spartansburgh Fire Hall. This has been long and coming. The guys worked really hard getting this built and set up in time for the Father's Day BBQ. THey chose grey for the color of the building . But Marilyn thinks it still should of been red. O.k. I just happened to get this picture with Tim behind the sign. But its always the same place ,at the same time every year. Here we were waiting for grandma and Kora to meet us there. It was pretty warm outside. I think it hit about 90 degrees yesterday. So I took the girls inside. Where they met Pumpkin. Every year Marilyn helps grandpa put the money in the box there. When grandma got there we finally got to go in . We hit it all at the right time because boy there were ALOT of people in there after a while. Here is a nice picture of what it looks like now inside. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I'll wait for the grand opening for that . There still was some things they needed to get done yet. But its much bigger and the kitchen is beautiful. The Ladie's Auxillary got to pick out what THEY wanted in the kitchen and the guys made it all happen . Here we all are sitting down to a tastey meal. Of course dad took this picture. Otherwise he'd be in it . But as you can see from the plate above there . You get a BIG sized chicken , the children get half , and you get ALOT of other food to go with it . We also brought wet wipes because your fingers can get pretty messy eating this . Here's the big fire pit that they use to cook the chicken on . They usually used to cook it next to the fire hall . But now there wasn't any room so they did it over at Clear Lake. It gave them more room to do it anyways. This year they ordered 650 chickens to roast ! I'm almost sure they had to of sold all of them. This was the first year I ever saw a line outside of the fire hall for this . And by the time we got ready to leave it was just packed.
In the meantime , on the inside.... the girls were more interested in helping out grandpa rather then eating . So Kora was in charge of giving out tickets and the styrofoam things for take out , and Marilyn was in charge of sorting the money and putting it in the box. After we were all finished eating , we went up to the farm so the kids could play in the sandbox and play just one more time before Kora was to go to her Grandma Sylvia's house . Tim did what he enjoys the most. Mowing the lawn. Now come on everyone , isn't this a great way to spend Father's Day ?
This is our tribute to Father's everywhere ... hope you've all had a ...
Happy Father's Day ! |

O.k. everyone , bear with me here . This may be another whopper of a blog . But we had SO much fun today that it was really hard to pick which ones I wanted to put up and which ones I didn't .
We all started out at 7:30 this morning to make it to beautiful Presque Isle for the registration that began at 8 am . Everyone was ready and rearing to go . The girls had their yellow outfits on to match and their necklaces to go to different booths to learn about things to earn Girl Scout badges.
Before starting our walk , we all had to exercise. Yes , I got in on the action too , but had to take this picture because it was so cute . Even Hannah got in on the action.
The lady here was in charge of the stretches. She was so impressed with how Marilyn exercised that she asked her to join in and help her along too.
After all that stretching , it was time to start the walk. Here we visited the first booth . The girls learned how to make Swaps . What's a swap you ask ? S-special W-watcha-ma-callits A-affectionately P-pinned S-somewhere or S-share W-with A-a P-Pal Their origin is Native American , and they were considered a ceremonial exchange of gifts by Native Americans. But in today's times ,they are meant to be a little rememberance that one scout gives another . They are usually handmade and they tell something about where you live, what you do , or just a personal thing. They can be bracelets , necklaces, or little items with a pin attached to them. Remember that little craft we did the other day ? Well that's what it was for . To swap with other girls .
Next we visited the Dairy table. The girls got to meet the Dairy princess and they even got some chocolate milk. Really , can life get any better ? Here we visited the next table which the girls loved. It was the Tattoo table . We had a hard time getting them to stick though because I had put on sunscreen. We learned that those press on tattoos don't stick very well if you have sunscreen on . Oh , well. Our next table along the way the girls learned about CPR . They really liked this booth because they got to try it out .
Here Katie gave it a shot . She learned how to properly place her hands on the chest of someone .
And here Kora did too .
O.k. I had to add this one in here. Hannah posing with the CPR toddler doll. She's such a ham. At first she thought it was a real little boy.
After the CPR booth , it was a little while until we hit a fun booth where they got to see what type of arch their foot has by putting their foot in the water and leaving a foot print , playing hopscotch , and then limbo.. How low can you go ? Here Kora gave it a try too.
Here mommy stopped and took a nice picture of daddy and the girls on the beach before heading back. The weather today couldn't of been any more perfect for this .
So in turn daddy took a picture of mommy and the girls . Here we were nearing the finish line . We were all pretty beat and it was just starting to get warm. We all walked a total of 3.2 miles today. Usually I can walk that in my sleep. But with the little extra added weight I have in the front ( a.k.a baby Maggie ) walking 3.2 miles was quite a feat for me today. I guess I kind of forget about the added weight in the front sometimes.
After finishing the finish line we had two more booths to take a look at . I put all the pictures together here. I really couldn't get a group pictures with this here as they each took a turn learning about kayaking and boat saftey .
Here was our last booth. The girls learned about the game of Lacross. They learned how to "cradle" the ball in the lacross sticks. They really liked it too. They could throw a ball at a net.
Whew! what a day .Actually it wasn't all done with that . After doing the walk we went for a nice picnic on the beach , then took them to a different beach then the one pictured here and the girls got to wade in the water a bit . To end it all off we stopped at Sarah's to get an ice cream cone. Summer just isn't summer without a Sarah's ice cream cone.

On thursday's at our local library the girls love to go to story time. Today was an extra special day with the theme of puppies and cats.
Here the kids got to pet 3 week old Dashund puppies . They were so cute. The looked like those cute little Pound Puppies . Here Hannah ( the back of her head of course ) was intrigued by something so tiny .
Here Kora got to pet a nice calico kitty . Actually a rare calico kitty. He was male. Calicos are most always female but he was a rare one indead. A very calm cat , and he had extra toes or what I like to call " thumbs " :>)
I accidently cut the picture off a little bit , but the kids got to hear a cute story called , Bark George. It was about a puppy's "Mom" wanted her puppy George to bark. Well every time George barked , he would make every sound but Woof. He made a cow sound , a cat sound , a chicken sound and in the end the mommy dog took her "son" to the vet and the vet took out all of the animals in his tummy . He finally barked , and in the end opened his mouth and said " Hello " . It was really a cute story that made the kids laught. This was also a HUGE group. I definitley don't have all of the kids that were there in the photo. The room was chucked full. It was nice to see because usually there are maybe 5-10 children if that sometimes. But its summer time and everyone is out of school. There were also some children here age there today. It was nice for Marilyn too because she's always been a great trooper and even sat in when there was just preschoolers in there. She and Katie don't care at all. They just know they like to hear stories.
After that it was craft time. Here Hannah, Marilyn and Kora were coloring their puppy dog faces.
Here Katie was putting on her puppy dog's nose and eyes.
After we were all done at the library we went up to the farm and put some sand in the new sand box that Grandpa and daddy made. We bought about 6 bags of sand it still wasn't enough. But enough to get them started. We definitley needed a bigger sandbox this year since the girls just keep getting bigger and bigger and the sandbox we had was a small turtle . Not much room there.
The girls were really excited with all that sand. They jumped right in and started smoothing it all out . Once we finished all of that it was time for mom and dad to go to our weekly baby appointment . Which consists of a nonstress test, sonogram and seeing the midwife .
Here's a picture of baby Maggie at 32 weeks. Boy , in one week she sure has changed. She is a spitting image of Hannah. The nose, the cheeks , the mouth . She is doing VERY well. The cysts still haven't gone away , but they are still tiny and they haven't grown at all. They estimated her at about 4lbs right now. The sonogram technician said " 2 pounds in one cheek and 2 pounds in the other " She still is in a breech position . Here's hoping she figures out that she's got to turn . But she looks pretty comfy in there.
After that when Tim and I got back , I decided we needed to get our Girl Scout craft done for Saturday . The girls are really excited to get to the do the 1st ever Girl Scout walk at Preque Isle on Saturday. The weather is supposed to be nice for that day too.
Here Hannah joined in on the craft. I was really surprised to see her be able to take tiny beads and thread them through a pin. I have yet to meet another 3yr old that can do that ! She has excellent fine motor skills .
They really had a lot of fun doing these. I was surprised that they sat and did all of them. Here Marilyn wanted to show off her red, white and blue , American flag pin . At the walk there will be tables set up along the way for them to do activities , and learn different things. There will be a swap table where they can swap little crafts with other girls . This is a great way for the girls to get to meet new friends .
Even Kora enjoyed doing this craft too. She really got into it . They made different kinds of pin beads and gave them names : There was the black and yellow one they called the Pittsburgh Steeler pin , the American Flag Pin , Katie's Yellow and White Pin and Hannah's multicolored pins . They were all made carefully and with LOVE
Whew! it was quite a busy day for all of us . But it makes the time go by , and we are happy to have Kora up here to have fun with us . Its always great to have fun summer memories. After our appointement while we were still in Erie. Tim took a nice picture of the Brig Niagra . It was all put together behind the library here and was sitting in one place .
Well time to go now . We'll definitley have some more pictures on Saturday . So stay tuned ..... |

Yesterday we had a wonderful birthday party for Hannah. She turned the BIG 3! today though . The weather was nice , but breezy . Here Hannah gets one of her gifts as we get to grammy's house. We decided to have the party up there because she has TONS of room for the kids to run around and play .
Here is the preparty Happy Birthday Dance. They were all gearing up and getting ready for the birthday party . Once everyone got there , the kids played for a little bit and then dad fired up the grill with the hotdogs . We had lots of good food to eat. After we were done eating Hannah wanted to open the rest of her presents. She got a nice puzzle ( Hannah LOVES puzzles ) , Littlest Pet shops ( she loves those too ) , and a new outfit and coloring book from her friends Abigail and Benjamin.
After that it was cake time. Mommy made the cake just the way Hannah likes it . With lots of sprinkles and we added a number 3 candle and lots of little candles around it .
Here I caught a quick picture of Hannah blowing out the candles . After eating all that good food it was time to burn off some calories and in the kids' case , burn some of that sugar off . So we went for a nice little walk up the logging road. This is a little road right next to Sandy's house and up this road is a Logging company. So we call it the logging road. The girls know they are not allowed to cross it because big log trucks go up this road. But it made for a nice walk. The kids picked some wild daisies and we even saw a tiny little caterpillar on a piece of grass. I guess after we were done the girls weren't done burning off some energy so Marilyn , Abigail and Kora decided to start a conga line of their own and walk around the drive way circle . With a silly birthday cake that sang , Happy Birthday , Happy Birthday , Happy Birthday , Birthday to you . They ended the evening playing a little leap frog . Then it was time to go home. Group hug everyone .
Happy Birthday to my baby girl . Happy third birthday Hannah . |

Hello everyone . Thought I would update with some pictures here of all of the fun we're having this summer so far. We've kept a nice schedule of things to do for the girls , and allowing mom some down time too .
Today was the last day of soccer . So I took some really nice pictures here to share with everyone . Here's a nice picture of Marilyn and Kora at soccer practice on Thursday . We all had a great day that day too. We started our Thursday out with story time at the library . There they got to listen to two books about animals , do a craft , read to their stuffed animals , and play with some new blocks that the library was setting out for the summer reading program. The girls really liked that . After all of that we went home , and got ready for soccer practice. The girls wanted Kora to come along and watch , so she did and she really was excited to watch her cousins play .
Here the kids were just practicing before starting the game and Kora wanted to try being a goalie .
After that , it was time for a little "class" time . As you can tell Marilyn was REALLY paying attention ,,, not .
Here's a nice picture of Marilyn and her friend Breanna . Marilyn and Breanna have known each other since they were two years old. They went to the same preschool together , and ever since then we all seem to run into each other doing the same activities . They always seem to pick up with each other like they just saw each other yesterday.
O.k. now these are today's pictures. Today was the last day of soccer . So Kora got a chance to play . It was kids verses parents. Of course I didn't play . But I did take great pictures. We were lucky enough to get Kora a Corry soccer shirt of her own , some shin guards and soccer socks. Thank goodness I had a pair of kleets for her to wear. That's the great thing about having all girls
On the flip side here's Marilyn kicking the ball. She did alot of that this year. She really got into it .
Dad even got into the action . I'm not sure about there being a fair advantage against that dads. But the kids did beat the grown ups , and Tim had ALOT of fun playing .
Here Katie stopped to pose for a quick picture. Silly mommy , asking her to turn for a second so I could get a quick picture while a game is going on . Actually Katie was glad to stop for a second , she loves to pose for the camera no matter what she's doing . After that it was time to sit and eat . They had a nice picnic lunch for everyone . This wasn't the greatest picture. I caught everyone off guard before they all smiled . I can say Kora was really beat. Soccer is a sport that can wear you out . But she really liked it alot and had alot of fun .
See , here's a better picture . Here's Kora enjoying a piece of pepperoni with grandma .
Of course we can't forget a picture of Hannah here. She was being a silly goose here as usual. As we were sitting and eating. Mommy had to take a nice picture of the girls with their best friend Courtney . Courtney is also their swim buddy on the Y swim team too . Of course I got a silly smile from Kate. After the picnic was done they got to go their friend Courtney's for her birthday party. Today was Courtney's party and tomorrow is Hannah's. They were so excited because this was the first party that they got to go to on their own without mom and dad .
After they were done eating , the girls also recieved bobble head soccer trophies for a job well done playing soccer. They played great and they want to play again in the fall.
Of course before we left Katie sniffed out chocolate. They are definitley girls . If they pass up chocolate I know something is wrong . Katie really liked that brownie because she ate the whole thing. After they were doing eating , they went out with their friend Courtney to play some more soccer . Whew!! That was our day today . Tomorrow is another busy one . We'll be celebrating Hannah's birthday tomorrow with some friends and family . Then next week is Vacation Bible School and the Girl Scout Walk . So we're definitley enjoying the summer and its nice that Kora can come up and enjoy some of it with us too . |

This is a short blog today . But since I got a great 3D picture of Baby Maggie I thought I would post it on here for all to see .
O.k, so the picture is a little crooked here. Still learning how to scan , crop and all that good stuff. But this was a really neat 3D picture of her we got today . The dark spot on her head was an image blur. But from what we saw on the sonogram she does have ALOT of hair . Could explain the heart burn that I just started getting lately ??? The little cysts she has on her right kidney are still there . The good news is they are still VERY tiny and not growing , and her amniotic fluid still looks good. They were able to get a good picture of her umblicial cord and its definitley a two veined cord. But my midwife assured me she's delievered alot of babies with this and they end up being just fine . So that's good too. She's growing fine. She's not too big and not too small. She's J...U...S...T right .
As for me other then feeling a little tired every once in a while I'm doing good. I had the three hour glucola test done and my blood work came back that my sugar levels were good . So that is very comforting to me . I've gained another three pounds . So far that makes 16 pounds of total weight gain . I go in weekly for non stress tests. Just a precaution because of her two veined cord . Maggie decided that she wasn't going to cooperate though today , and something that should of taken 20 minutes ended up taking a almost an hour . Maggie knew something was going on . She kept flipping from side to side so the monitor kept loosing her heart beat , and the nurse had to do this great search to find she was flipping from side to side .
Boy , I love looking at this picture. We're still trying to figure out who she looks like . Tim maybe ??? To early to tell . But I definitley can say she has her dad's nose . |

O.k. so this wasn't a day trip for all of us . Tim and Sandy went to West Virginia to pick up Kora today . Unfortunatley I missed the trip since Marilyn , Katie and Hannah were sick with sore throats today. So I had to stay home and miss out on all of the sight seeing . But .. the smart guy Tim is he took the camera with him and took some VERY nice pictures for us to look at when we came home. So I thought I would share some with everyone.
Here's a picture of Uncle Travis and Kora waiting for Uncle Tim and Grammy to pick them up in West Virginia . Kora has grown up alot since I've last seen her . Time sure does go buy so fast .
After having a bite to eat at McDonalds ,and Kora saying bye to her dad . It was time to get back on the road for the LONG trip to PA . Here is a picture of the road, but if you look at both sides, they are traveling through a mountain . This is Powell Mountain , here they blasted through the mountain to put this interstate in . I've never been to West Virginia . But Tim says its all mountains and hills and twists and turns .
Here its a little hard to tell . But between the two hills here going down is part of the interstate too. Tim says its really no fun to drive through all of it .
Here's a really nice picture of Kora . The day was overcast ( great for picture taking ) . Behind her is the Powell Mountain scenic overlook . Kora is the big 5 this year and will be going to kindergarten .
Here's a nice picture of Grammy and Kora . Marilyn and Katie were really excited to know that she is now here. Now they can't wait to get better. I told them my Monday they should be well enough to see Kora . No sharing germs , even if it is family She did get to talk to the girls on the cell phone on the way up. Grammy realized that the girls were racking up the phone bill . But she didn't care . She thought it was cute that they liked talking to each other on the phone . Kora even asked me when she could play with the girls . I told her in another day when they were feeling better. They plan on playing hide and seek together . I think that was what mostly their converstion to each other was about .
Well it was back on the road again and they made it to Pittsburgh . There was alot of construction going on with lots of long waits. Leave it to Tim though, he knows his way around Pittsburgh like the back of his hand . He found another way to get around it all . Here they were entering the Fort Pitt tunnel . Pittsburgh is the only city were you can enter it through a tunnel.
Cool tunnel , huh. I guess if you aren't claustrophobic , right ? When you get to the end you see this ...... The Fort Pitt Bridge that goes right across the Monongahela River , right into Pittsburgh .
Another nice picture of Pittsburgh . I don't get it though . Tim's going about 65 in this picture and took it and it turned out beautiful and I could stand still and manage to blur a picture. Go figure .
Here's my closing picture of today's day trip . PNC park. Yes, this was the same park we went to , to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play . I am hoping to make it down to Pittsburgh at least one more time before having the baby to go to the Carnegie Science Center with the girls . Well we'll have more pictures in the up coming weeks and we have some fun stuff planned for the girls to do . So everyone stayed tunned . |
