The purse your psychotherapist warned you about

As summer fades into fall in Texas, it's a time for all women of style and substance to update their look, including their handbag. I have retired the Tarzan & Jane bag for the season, and recently started carrying my newest creation (see below).

I'm proud to say the last time my daughter and I were out together, no fewer than four women commented on my "cute purse." This never fails to produce a look of utter dismay on my poor daughter's face, and gales of laughter from yours truly.

So, whaddya think? Is this going to be The Item that finally makes me a billionaire? Or will it get me featured on "What Not to Wear?"

While it's not my personal taste, there are most likely a billion women out there that would absolutely ADORE your purse-- and Texas is definitely full of a good part of the adoring population!

Being a Texan myself, I must say I have seen a lot of these around. However, mine would be a LOT bigger...considering the size of my "fat pants".

I've made the blue jean purses before, but with a denim shoulder strap. I love the beaded handles!!!!!!!!!

No "butts" about it, that purse is too cute. I think it would make a great present for family members, particularly that adoring sister of yours in PA. I know for a fact that she would love it! She would for sure give you free advertising at work and then all the teachers would want one too, and you'd be on your way to putting your first million in your "back pocket."

I think it is very cool looking. I have a bag that I did out of jeans. My mom has also been making aprons out of jeans. They, by the way, are very cool!

I have made purses out of jeans before (tho' I used my daughters', NOT MINE!!) I never thought to put a belt around them, however. Great idea! and the beaded handle is too chi-chi....

I also carry a jean bag!!! While I have the ability, I took the easy way out and bought mine. I get comments every time I carry it also. You may just make your million on this one!~You rock!!
