Tile Floors

I have all tile. Those might be a good idea. I have trouble keeping my floors clean. The dog and I shed too much. The boys track in too much dirt or drop food on the floor.

Ain't got no need for them there slippers. I just hitch up a broom handle to the collar of our little white dog and push her around the vinyl. Works fine as long as ya don't mind the yelpin'.

Now about those slippers, they are NOT a fashion statement but the utility does have some merit. Ever since Pippi Longstocking skated around her kitchen with scrubbers on her feet, I have wanted to dump buckets of soapy water on my floor and slip and slide around. *sigh* Too bad I have a split level...it would make it difficult to sleep if I had to stare at all the ugly water damage marks on my bedroom ceiling.

Bottom line: gift for moi? No way, Hosea! But for my kidlets...sounding pretty good about now...

Those look like they'd be pretty handy (or footy) for cleaning the floor easily, but probably wouldn't make the most romantic of gifts to ones sweetheart.
