I have the best blog visitors! So many of you have asked me how my mom is doing now that she has breast cancer. Here is an answer I just sent to one of them. I thought you all might like an update.
Your question about my mom is a hard one to answer. She is undergoing chemo as often as her blood is good enough to allow her to have it. She has also made a radical diet change and soon after starting that her blood began to replenish itself a little for the first time since November!
I'll tell you what, I never knew a few blood platelets would get me all in a tizzy but I am excited about it. This is the first and only improvement since she got out of the hospital and the only one in her bodies ability to produce blood since November.
So, that is why it was a difficult question to answer. It is hard to pinpoint and answer in a few sentences.

I will continue to keep your mom in my prayers. I'm glad the diet has helped. What did she change? I hope you don't mind the question. Ever since my youngest was diagnosed with Celiac Disease I have been researching all types of "medically induced" diets. I find it rather interesting.
God Bless and give you all the strength to make it through this time.
