Don't forget - leave a comment on my blog this month and you will be entered in a drawing for a free copy of my book, Loving Your Knight In Shining Armor - Even When He Doesn't Shine.
Today I am going to share something precious with you ... one of my favorite pieces. I LOVE this:
God, give me wisdom to see that today is my day with my children,
That there is no unimportant moment in their lives.
May I know no other career is as precious, no other work so rewarding, no other task so urgent.
May I not defer it or neglect it,
But by Thy Spirit accept it gladly, joyously,
And by Thy grace realize that the time is short and my time is now,
For children won't wait.

May. 23, 2006 - THANK YOUZ!!!
Thank you so much for helping me with the audio samples today. I'm learning how to make things easy, and you helped me.
Y'know, now that my nephew (5 months old) has come to visit, the post about children makes more sense to me. I've never liked babies much... fifth graders were great, but babies?... yet I'm seeing life happen faster, measuring it by the growth of the children around me. It seems that "my time is now" could apply to several areas of life -- all relational -- and even though I don't have kids of my own [yet], the reminder to fully live every second with my family and friends is a good one.
Thanks again.
Isaac
