• Sep. 27, 2006 - Surprise drawing and a beach retreat!

Hi!  I am having a surprise book drawing for those that leave me a comment ok?  Won't that be fun?  I will pick a winner in a few days.....not sure when....that will be a surprise also.

AND, don't you just LOVE the beach?  I sure do!  We just had a lovely mother-daughter retreat there, and we have another beach retreat coming up really soon!

It's not too late to join us for the October 20 - 22 TEACH On The Beach.

Won't you join women from all over the US (not one from WA yet!)?

We live about an hour away from the Pacific Coast. We all love to go to the beach. Fun and relaxing! I also miss beaches in Thailand where the water is warm :).

Hope you'll have a wonderful beach retreat!

Teach on the beach, sounds so wonderful. Unfortunately I can't do it this year, but I'd love to in the future! I even live pretty close!

OH, I want to go, AND I am from Washington. However, I just returned from the MOPS convention in Nashville and the timing is not great. I will keep it in mind for next year, though, as I shift my focus from MOPS mom to homeschool mom.

The TEACH on the Beach sounds fun. The way things are with our family right now, it's not doable. :-( Maybe next year I can figure out a way to go, if you do it again. I hope it goes well (and that you get someone from WA -- that would have been me if I could have gone! LOL).

Hi; we love the beach too. We headed up to northern CA a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. It was a bit foggy but we did some notebooking and exploring.

Have a great time!

I just wanted to say thanks for the Mozart. I teach piano and my students are also loving learning from this wonderful little book. I definitely plan to get the others in the series. Thanks so much, Lorrie!
PS I don't know if and when I'll be eligible to participate in the contests again, but whenever I am, just put me right back in there! I thoroughly enjoy reading your insights. You're a blessing.

I have been eagerly awaiting my first copy of your magazine and it just came today. I am looking forward to some quiet time this evening to really read it but I could not resist glancing through the title and at least skimming a couple of articles. It looks wonderful!!

I would love to come to the beach, but alas, money is tight...maybe next year! I am hopeful that I will soon be able to afford to subscribe to your magazine...I love your emails. Hopefully when my husband gets his annual bonus next month...if nothing else "comes up"!

• Oct. 7, 2006 - Just got the magazine today Lorrie! I am Holly just above my post

I enjoyed it!! So very true in the sock article. That had me laughing but believe it or not, even small families have a battle with the sock monster. I dread sock laundry. I prefer to have each child to have a different colored sock but it is very hard to come by with different colored socks even in our family of 5.

It bought laughs to me though. Anyway I read the magazine half way through so will read the rest within a few days. Thank you so much for your time and effort as well as your mentorship (correct wod or not?? but it is so very true) to all of us. May the Lord Bless you in your mentoring all of us.

Blessings~

Love your story about the breakfast special! Also, loved the story about your Mom coming up with the sandwich cut in fourths!! Wish I had been that clever when my children were younger!! Your magazine is so great - I always look forward to receiving it. I devour it from cover to cover - but try and savor it since I enjoy it so much. God bless and thank you for your wonderful ministry! ~ Julie

Hope I didn't! I too want to subscribe to TEACH, but alas, must wait until funds are available. Hopefully that will be really soon!

I LOVED that egg story. That was too cute! I can picture my Mom and Dad doing that. LOL!
